We are located on the Seadrift lagoon and steps from the spectacular Bolinas lagoon, a seal and bird sanctuary. From our beautiful, spacious deck you can swim, kayak, or float in the clean, well-maintained, salt-water lagoon, or sit in our large hot tub with stunning views. Or, from the living room or front yard, sit and watch nature's parade of egrets, blue herons, pelicans, cormorants, and sea gulls in the Bolinas lagoon. Or walk a short distance to the most beautiful part of the spectacular, private beach at the end of the unique Seadrift spit. Collect shells, watch seals and surfers in nature's paradise.
Four tennis courts, right on the Bolinas lagoon, offer an unparalleled athletic experience. A short distance to the charming town, three restaurants, cute shops, a great bookstore, town park with basketball court, post office, small grocery store, and an ice cream stand will acquaint you with a friendly atmosphere of this "laid-back" community.
The house has every amenity you would want in a beach getaway: extra-long 2-seater kayak, pool and foosball tables, fully-equipped kitchen, down pillows, wireless Internet access, large hot tub, outdoor gas grill, three queen-size beds, two twins, large living room w/fireplace, large dining table seating 12, and two outdoor tables with umbrellas on both the Seadrift and Bolinas lagoon sides.
Just a few miles from the world-renowned hiking trails of the Point Reyes National Seashore and Mount Tamalpais, and other quaint towns of West Marin, there is plenty of exploring to be done. |
