This newly remodeled vacation home rental is located near the South Beach area of Sea Pines. Just a short 4 minute walk to the beach, 78 South Sea Pines has 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths. A gated courtyard in the front of the home provides privacy around the swimming pool and the extensive deck has ample seating for everyone to stretch out and relax and enjoy meals or cocktails at the table outdoors.

The living room with its crown molding on the ceiling, has an open layout and plenty of seating including new flooring throughout, driftwood-plank style to give you the "at the beach" feel and an L-shaped sofa and a 55” smart television. The dining area has seating for 8 and provides beautiful views of the pool area through the ceiling to floor windows. There is a fully equipped and updated kitchen with new top-of-the-line appliances, a beautiful back splash, new white cabinets that gives it an open and airy look and feel and an attached laundry room.

There are two Master bedrooms that both have a King Bed, flat screen TV and updated attached bathrooms with new showers. The third has a king bed and TV. The fourth bedroom has 2 full size beds and shares a bathroom with a tub/shower combo and a wide marble vanity.

Located just off the beach path, 78 South Sea Pines provides plenty of amenities for guests and easy access to the beautiful beaches of Hilton Head Island.

Family Vacation

Stay at this property was great. Some areas were still a little dirty but not huge deal. Pool was dirty with leaves, brush, and acorns from the trees. Prior to our arrival, there was a storm, so that was not like it could be prevented. We called someone out right when we got there and someone came out that night to clean it. They did an amazing job. They also came out 2 other times during the week for a weekly pool maintenance. Beach was only 5 minute walk. So nice! Would definitely stay in sea pines again. We enjoyed our vacation!!!

Great stay

Wonderful vacation in HH! The only lacking part was that the poop was filthy and unusable until they could send someone. By the time it was cleaned and we had to wait for chemicals to work, we only had use of the pool for 2/7 days :/ On the positive, the location has super easy access to the beach. A 5 minute walk or a quick bike ride. House was well stocked, comfortable and clean. Management was responsive. Fast maintenance for water filter change and washer problem. Thanks for a great trip!

The house was wonderful , well equipped , comfortable and clean.

Only issue was lack of cable tv, not a big deal but would have been nice for grandparents to be able to watch. Hilton head recycling is odd to have to drive it across town.

VRBO customer service not helpful- very disappointed

I attempted to make this reservation through VRBO twice. The first time the reservation request expired because the property manager did not respond in 24 hours, so I reapplied and my second request was granted and payment was processed. However, when I looked at my reservation on my VRBO account it showed up as “cancelled”. I called the property manager and they assured me my reservation was still active and there was nothing to worry about. I then called VRBO customer service to clarify. The representative I spoke to looked at the account and told me that the reservation was canceled and that all money was refunded to my account. I explained to him that I wanted to continue with the reservation, but that I was worried that my account wasn’t reflected accurately. I even explained the issue with having to make the reservation request twice since the first one timed out. Again, the CSR insisted that I had no active reservation and that VRBO had refunded me all of my money. He told me that there was no issue with VRBOs system, and that I would need to take my concerns to the property manager. I Explained yet again, that the property manager confirmed my reservation and my bank account still showed my payment as “paid”. Again, he insisted that VRBO records were accurate and I needed to take my issue elsewhere. Rather than continue to go back and forth with him, I asked to speak to a supervisor. He told me it would be several days before someone would get back to me. Nobody ever called me back. To be frank, I expected a better Experience with VRBO customer service. There seemed to be no accountability, and it was incredibly worrisome to listen to someone try to convince me that I had been refunded all of my money when that simply wasn’t the case. This was my first, and very likely my last experience booking a trip through VRBO. The only reason I am leaving any positive feedback is simply to make sure the property manager is not reflected poorly. They were great in every aspect.
