  Dopo un lungo viaggio per raggiungere la Puglia ci addentriamo nella regione provati da una certa stanchezza ma sorretti dall’entusiasmo per la vacanza. Entusiasmo che trova il suo culmine quando compare il paesaggio verdeggiante della Valle d’Itria, campi, alberi e boschi dove iniziano a spuntare come per magia i trulli e le lamie bianche. Quasi sorprendentemente il panorama assume qualcosa di fiabesco, sensazione accentuata all’arrivo presso il Borgo delle Querce. L’accoglienza dei proprietari Saverio e Antonella è calda e prodiga di doni: i frutti della loro terra, vino, olio, uva, pesche, orecchiette e taralli. Da questo momento trascorreranno due settimane all’insegna dello stare bene, alternando mare, piscina ed escursioni nei borghi più belli fra trulli, barocco, romanico, reminiscenze ebraiche, tracce messapiche. Il tutto sotto l’egida di “sua maestà” Federico II. Insomma, accanto a un relax quotidiano c’è stata la possibilità di vedere alcuni dei tesori più preziosi d’Italia. La presenza dei proprietari si farà via via sempre più discreta quanto amichevole e gradita. La cura che hanno avuto nel valorizzare questo Borgo nei minimi dettagli è il segno della loro capacità di catturare e restituire all’ospite la magia del luogo. Non è solo il ristoro nella piscina o nella jacuzzi ma come tutto si inserisce perfettamente nei colori delle siepi, dei fiori, dei mattoni bianchi e delle luci serali che come stelle escono dalle ceramiche a segnare il cammino del vialetto. Il clima si manterrà generoso per la brezza che concluderà ogni giornata dopo gli splendidi tramonti tra ulivi e piante da frutto della tenuta e dei dintorni. Questa Puglia ci ha regalato uno dei più cari ricordi tra le nostre memorie vacanziere e la voglia di tornarci se non altro per approfondire conoscenze artistiche e culinarie davvero inesauribili.

  Nous avons séjourné 15 jours dans cette location à 4 kms de Martina Franca et nous avons été echantés. La situation géographique nous permettait d'être pas trop loin des merveilleux sites à visiter. Néanmoins la plage est un peu loin mais comme elles sont bondées, nous avions la très belle piscine de la location pour nous baigner. La location est très bien équipée avec beaucoup de goût et une très belle terrasse donnant sur un beau jardin. Les propiétaires sont discrets et en même temps très serviables. Il faut tout de même savoir que la piscine n'est accessible que jusqu'à 19 heures ce qui pour nous n'a pas été un problème et que le jacuzzi est refermé par le proprio vers les 20h. Martina Franca est une petite ville tipique des pouilles très animée par une vie locale et non par une envie de faire plaisir aux touristes. C'est très agréable. En bref : un très bon séjour dans une région authentique (il en reste !!!) dans une très belle location où tout est mis en oeuvre pour que vous passiez de bonnes vacances.

  Owner response: Merci pour la belle rendu sur votre sejour. La piscine est fermè au 19 heure perce que nous avons besoin de temp pour la nettoyage avec le machine robot. La jacuzzi est couvrire au 20 heure pour avoir l'eau chaude, mais l'heure de fermeture est au 22 heure.

  We cannot praise Il Borgo delle Querce enough. From the immaculately presented and well equipped villetta, to the beautifully maintained grounds and swimming pool which our three young girls revelled in, it was a lovely place to stay. Puglia itself is an unspoilt and relatively undiscovered part of Italia, and was a revelation to us, despite our having lived in Italia in the past. Saverio and Antonella were great hosts, but even more praise should go to Saverio's parents, Augusto e Fausta, who look after the property during the week and made us feel so welcome. Grazie mille, signori! We have already recommended Il Borgo to our friends, and hope to revisit shortly.

  My wife and I spent three wonderfull weeks in Il Borgo delle querce in Martina Franca in Puglia. The holiday home is perfect. All is clean and everything you need is present. It was very nice to sit on the terrace and enjoy our diner there. Very handy is the gaz bbq. The owners are very friendly and very helpfull. The house is situated in the middle of a beautiful garden. Also the pool, which you have to share with other guests on this domain, is very good and super clean. Martina Franca is perfectly situated to visit Puglia. The coast is only a half hour drive and other interesting places like Alberolbello, Castellana caves, Lecce and even Matera in Basilicata are not so far away. If you are looking for a quiet holiday home to explore Puglia then this is definately the place to be. 100 % recommended.

  The owners of Il Borgo delle Querce are lovely people and did everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We felt very welcome. It was nice that they were waiting for us to arrive and my first impression of the house (il Trullo) was just perfect, spotlessly clean with all comforts and a sweet patio with a goreous view of the surrounding land (with lovely sunsets..). Fresh fruit, wine, pasta and olive oil from the region were our welcome present and a nice touch. Sleeping in a Trullo ensured a long deep sleep! The house is well situated for visiting the nearby tourist attractions (you do need a car) and if you fancy a longer trip, I would strongly advise visiting the town of Matera. I can definitely recommend staying here - it's just so wonderfully idyllic..

  "Een aangename ontvangst door de eigenaar die bereid was om ons ''s nachts de weg naar het huisje te wijzen. Daar stond een goed gevulde fruitmand, wijn, olijfolie en koffie en ontbijtspullen voor ons klaar zodat we heerlijk konden uitslapen na een vermoeiende reis. Het huisje was fris en goed geoutilleerd. Het terras was erg aangenaam en het uitzicht prachtig. Speciaal voor ons had de eigenaar het zwembad klaargemaakt terwijl dat normaliter pas in mei gebeurd. We hebben er dankbaar gebruik van gemaakt."

  Nous avons passé une excellente semaine - l'acceuil de Saverio et Antonella est parfait ainsi que les parents qui restent a votre disposition le temps de votre séjour, ce sont des personnes charmantes et attachantes. Leurs vin et huile d'olive sont excellents ! la maison est tres bien, la terrasse est divine pour le repos et le calme Vous etes bien situés par rapport aux visites a faire aux alentours, il y a des endroits insolites et tres beaux a découvrir.(Matera-Otrente-Alberobello...) Il faut prévoir un vehicule car vous etes dans la campagne et en meme temps a 5 minutes en voiture de Martina Franca.

  Accueil très sympathique et chaleureux d'Antonella et Saverio. Logement typique, confortable, décoré avec goût dans un cadre magnifique de verdure et de calme. Toutes les commodités à proximité. Vélos, salle de fitness, piscine, jacuzzi rien ne manque. Séjour en famille très ressourçant, que du bonheur ! Isabelle et Eric

  We had a wonderfull stay.The apartment was very good, clean, beautifull terrace, nice warm and a good shower. Saverio and Antonella were very friendly and the fruitbasket and wine on arrival were a very nice attention. There was a lot of information available about the region. We would like to recommend this beautifull spot situated very close to Martina Franca. Only one small minor, the villa is 900 metres from the main road and the road is very narrow!!! Fam.   Owner response: Thanks, many thanks. we are very happy to have met your nice family. The secondary road is a bit narrow, because it is a old tipical road. His old special name is "tratturo". This kind of apulian road have a its history and is very tipical.

  Ruhig und elegant - es wird nicht zu viel versprochen. S, seine Frau und seine Eltern tun alles, um den Aufenthalt so schön wie möglich zu machen. Wir wurden persönlich empfangen und erhielten als Willkommensgeschenke einen großen Korb mit frischem Obst der Region, Wein und Olivenöl des Hauses und einem Ball für unseren 5 jährigen Sohn. Detaillierte Informationen zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants, Karten und persönliche Tips lagen bereit. Unsere Wohnung war geschmackvoll eingerichtet, geräumig und gut ausgestattet - ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen. Das Gelände ist groß und die Bäume warten darauf, geerntet zu werden. Das Schwimmbad verdient wirklich diese Bezeichnung. Die Lage ist zentral und gut gelegen zur Erkundung der Apulischen Sehenswürdigkeiten und Strände (Auto erforderlich). Martina Franca ist eine schöne und wenig touristische Stadt. Überhaupt trafen wir im Herbst nur wenige Touristen in dieser Region. Wir können "Il Borgo delle Querce" wärmstens empfehlen und hoffen, dadurch nicht unsere Chancen für ein Wiederkommen zu schmälern.
