Snowshoe lodge is a perfect retreat in Lake Placid. My husband and I stayed for our 5 year anniversary weekend and it exceeded our expectations. Every year so far we have stayed at different resorts in Lake Placid and we have FINIALLY found one that we will definitly return to! Whiteface Club is a gorgeous resort with beautiful grounds. Snowshoe lodge is very close to the water and offers an amazing view of Whiteface mountain. The lodge itself is equipped with EVERYTHING you could possibly need...a FULL kitchen with stove, dishwasher, small fridge....even a washer and dryer! The jacuzzi tub offers an opportunity for further relaxation and the ability to unwind after a long day of shopping in town. The bed is soooo comfortable and has many different types of pillows...you will find your perfect match! The owners have thought of everything that you may need for your stay. My only regret for writing such a review is that the lodge may get so popular that we have a hard time booking our next stay!!! Don't miss out on the opportunity to stay here...it is PERFECT!Recommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Wonderful little condo tucked off the beaten path at the Whiteface Club, a 30 second walk from the water. We were in the bottom unit of a much larger building but it was very peaceful and quiet. Most of our time was spent out and about, and the room provided a wonderful respite when we returned. Beautifully furnished Adirondack style with a giant bed that you can melt into after a long day spent enjoying all that the mountains had to offer! The kitchen was also perfect to suit our needs. My wife and I found it to be much more homey and personal than a hotel room would have been for a similar price. The owners were also very friendly and made sure that we were all set for our trip before we arrived.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

The condo/suite was beautiful. The decor was perfect for the "lodge look" , the interior was immaculate and the location was heavenly. Lake Placid was a two minute walk and next to the patio was a stream with a waterfall. Great for early morning coffee.The owners were extremely easy to work with. I would recommend this property to my best friend. Just keep in mind it is a studio with lots of room and comfort but would not be alot of privacy for more than a twosome. The town of Lake Placid is minutes away and trail heads are everywhere. A hikers dream!!!!Recommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

Absolutely loving the condo! Couldn't ask for a more beautiful setting for an anniversary long weekend. Quiet, convenient to town and so relaxing. My husband just loved the Adirondack feel with all the modern amenities. Morning coffee lakeside taking in the view of Lake Placid and Whiteface Mountain are a breathtaking way to start your day! We are definitely thinking about coming back after Christmas to stay and do some skiing when our daughter is home from college break. Dominick was wonderful to deal with and delivered all that was promised. Well back to reality on Monday!Recommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

My husband and I wanted to get a lot of outdoor activity and return to the comforts of home at the end of the day. This condo gave us everything we were looking for. It was so convenient to the village and yet more peaceful than being right in town. The cross country trail on the Club's grounds made it possible to get out for a ski without driving, and it also connected to the Jackrabbit Trail for a longer ski outing. Once the snow is gone, the trails could be accessed for a nice walk. It is a quick drive through town and out to Whiteface for downhill. The condo itself, as pictured, was warm and inviting. The huge comfortable bed and fireplace were delightful. The condo offers the convenience of ground-floor access and parking right in front. The bathroom was spacious and the kitchen sufficiently equipped for a weekend or longer visit. The owners were very easy to work with and interested in ensuring our stay was comfortable. Very satisfied with Snowshoe Lodge!Recommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, sightseeing, romantic getaway.
