We stayed for 4 nights over the New Year period with our 2 kids aged 6 & under. It's not the ritz but everything we needed was in the house. A full kitchen (yes, minus the dishwasher but, hey) tidy bathroom & generous living area meant plenty of room to relax. Our boys loved running around the fenced off outdoor area. The beach access was fantastic - 100m down the road. Thanks for letting us use your house.Recommended for: Families with young children.

This was the perfect place for our family. Really just steps to an almost empty beach, except for the life guard. An easy walk to Starbucks for a morning coffee by Sharks Cove, or take one of the bicycles. For our first time to Hawaii, this place allowed us peace and relaxation away from tourist crazy Waikiki.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers.
Owner response: We do take pride in our home to give all guests the best experiences being at home away from home.

I am so glad to have been able to stay here on my first vacation to Hawaii! This place is very clean, cozy, and conveniently located near many attractions and activities. After adventures from the day, it was comforting to be able to pickup necessities at nearby Foodland, wash-up with the outdoor shower and relax in the backyard! I am so grateful the owner stocked this place with bikes for us to enjoy the beautiful bike path and scenery throughout north shore. It was amazing! Shark's Cove, one of the best places to snorkel, is within walking distance as well! It was such a wonderful experience :). Olga is very easy to reach and talk to, I most definitely plan on staying here again to do all the other things I didn't have time to do.Recommended for: Girls getaway, pet owners, people with disabilities, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

This house is one block of the beach and in a great location. It is next to a noisy road if you leave the windows open at night. Lots of partying in the area on the weekends. We stayed on the "B" side. It was clean--but missing dish towels, wash clothes (had bath towels only), no dishwasher as listed, and very limited kitchen items (ie, no knife to cut the wonderful pineapples you can buy in the area). There is a room air conditioner in the main room, but only fans in the bedrooms. The grill was in the garage but filthy. My bigger concern was that we contacted the owner during our stay, but received no reply to our concerns at the time or subsequently. The location is good, house is basic, but be aware the unit missing some of the basics other places provide.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers.

This was a nice place and the location is great. The thing that really bothered me was the NOISE from the highway directly behind the property. Also we were never given an entry code or a way to enter the house prior to our arrival. Our family did have a nice vacation in Hawaii though.Recommended for: Families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+.

This place was perfect for our vacation! Clean & very well supplied with cooking tools, dishes, bedding, towels, etc. It was a great place to come back to after our adventures during the day. Especially relaxing after fighting the traffic in Honolulu. We loved our walks on the beach, snorkeling & sunset at Shark's Cove, walking the bike trail, & the deck in the evenings. Some very nice neighbors there, too. Next time we would spend more time at the house and North Shore and not do all the "touristy" stuff down south. (It was beautiful, but now we've done that). Thanks for letting us stay in your Paradise.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

Great location, awesome beach - Pipeline! Bike trails, close to Sharks Cove, Foodland, Waimea Bay, Ted's and a short drive to enjoy all the fun of Haleiwa and Laie and their restaurants. Comfortable, clean home, just as the pictures show. Owner very easy to reach and is quick to answer questions. Loved the location and plan to stay here again on our next visit.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.
Owner response: Lisa, Thank you so much for staying with us! We enjoyed having you in our home. Did you guys have a chance to eat at the breakfast place in Sharks Cove? My favorite! Aloha.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2001
About the owner: I am an avid surfer and with a passion for life and a passion for enjoying the great things of Hawaii. Once I discovered the oceans of the North Shore, I knew this would be my home.
Why the Owner Chose Ehukai Beach:
From the first time I came to Hawaii, I fell in love with the islands. I knew I wanted to have a home here but not sure where I would like to find my new home. After visiting the Ehukai Beach area, I knew of no other place I would love to be. The beach by our house is made of the softest coral sand, and the water seems to be the cleanest on the island. We love the area so much, that we not only offer our house, we offer a piece of our dream, and hope you enjoy the area as much as we do!
