This great family vacation spot near Key West is in the Florida Keys! Stay in a lovingly-renovated, historic, two-bedroom "Conch Cottage" on over an acre of oceanfront property, surrounded by lush tropical gardens!
The property is situated about 15 miles from Key West, and features an oceanfront swimming pool, a boat launch and dock, and a children's playground!
This is not a "typical" vacation rental! The cottages have just been completely renovated last year; and each is beautifully decorated with unique character. The cottages have all the modern amenities including central A/C, satellite TV (over 100 channels!), microwave ovens and of course blenders! Other conveniences available upon request include free long-distance (60 minute limit)! Washer and Dryer are available on the premises.
Tropical fruits including key limes, papayas, mangoes, and bananas grow throughout the property - and make delicious drinks! The cottages are surrounded by gorgeous tropical gardens which are beautiful places to relax and meditate and just enjoy the fragrances and color.
Each cottage has two queen-size bedrooms, and a sofa bed or daybed in the living room that converts to two very comfortable twin-size beds.
This is a great location for families! We have free kayaks for guests' use - so you can explore the ocean shore (it's normally very calm because of the reef). And you can fish from the dock, or swim in our oceanfront pool.
We can arrange fishing, snorkeling, sight-seeing, or diving charters to leave right from our dock. Our island is over 100 miles out to sea, so great sport fishing is just a few minutes from our dock! And we can arrange for a local chef to cook your catch, if you desire!
We're about halfway between Key West and the best beach in the Keys - Bahia Honda! So whatever you might like to do is just a short distance away! Access to the "Back Country" and the National Wildlife Refuge is right on our island. Looe Key, the best reef for snorkeling and diving, is just a few miles off our shore.
There's a full-service marina just a mile or so away, if you want to rent a boat. We have dock space and trailer parking right on our property!
We're just minutes by boat to the best diving and snorkeling in North America! Great sport fishing, boating, sailing, and windsurfing is available right from our dock! Sightseeing and shopping in Key West is just 15 miles away. Whether bicycling or swimming, you'll be in awe of the lush tropical gardens and exotic wildlife that surrounds you. Relax by our oceanfront pool. Enjoy a game of golf. Or take a tour of the pristine wildlife preserve in the back-country! It's a national treasure! And Bahia Honda, the best beach in the Keys (and many think in the world) is just minutes away!

Checked in December 22,2010 and had a great time immediately. Owners are very nice and a wealth of knowledge for the entire area. Gave recommendations on where to eat and have fun. Cottages are clean with heating and cooling. The views from the property are awesome. The pool is very nice to relax in for the times you want to do nothing but enjoy the views of the bay. Located in the perfect place in my opinion between Key west and Bahia Honda state park which was an amazing place to visit for the day. The property also had room for boat parking and if you want to kayak from the property you could explore the bay without a problem. You can fish from the pier and catch all sorts of fish, I did and caught six different types of fish including a barracuda and a gar. The property is quiet with a great tropical feel and atmosphere. Easy to get anywhere you want in a short period of time. We stayed for a week and my daughters aged 9 and 14 had a blast. If you have never visited the keys and always wanted to in my opinion this is the place to rent. The whole family had fun, it is centrally located in the lower keys so it is not far from anything. Last but not least it was nice to be able to cook your own food in the fully furnished kitchens in the cottages, it seemed to make the vacation slow down and be more enjoyable than having to go out to eat all the time. If I get the chance I will go back and visit THE TROPICAL BREEZE CONCH COTTAGE on Cudjoe key. Thank you Micheal and Soo for an unforgettable Christmas vacation.

My family stayed in the cottages and found them to be very clean and updated. Beautiful sunsets from the dock and great fishing. Owners went out of their way to accomodate our every wish. Very nice property.

It felt like 'Home Away From Home'. They were so accommodating. We loved kayaking, letting the kids fish and play in the yard with the swing set and your beautiful yard. We had such a great time. You are so centrally located to do anything... Your property was so plush and beautiful. The sunrise was spectacular from the docks! Thanks for the great memories!

There was a comfortable "at home" feeling. The cottage was clean, nicely decorated and spacious. Michael was a wonderful host and made us feel at home. The location made it easy to enjoy the property and local boating, but was close enough to Key West to visit the attractions there very easily. We really enjoyed having the pool to return to on the property.
