What an amazing property! The only place we will ever stay in Napa from here on out! We typically stay at Auberge Du Soleil, but thought we'd try a different route by renting this estate with a group of 10. This experience blew any resort away! We cooked our own meals, enjoyed the MOST BEAUTIFUL surroundings, played Bocce and Tennis. The house was elegant, yet comfortable and it was easy to make it feel like we were right at home the second we walked in the door. Close to grocery shopping, restaurants, vineyards, everything! We are already planning our next visit there.

Stunning views, great location & fantastic amentities. I stayed with 8 -10 people on a great Wine getaway. This house is tremendous. It actually looks like the picture ! the pool is great & we all learned Bocce ball on the court. I highly recommend this Chateau in the Wine country. It is big & roomy with great dining rooms. We hired Chefs 2 nights and there was plenty of room.

Napa Valley Perfection
Napa Valley Perfection
I have stayed at several of Napa Valley's premiere residences, with the goal of always "one-upping" last year's stay. I might as well just quit now, I have found perfection. The property is stunning, the house is beautifully laid-out and decorated and you will want for nothing. I recommend that you don't over plan activities, as you will end up wanting to spend all of your time at "home." The location is perfect and the views to the mountains on both sides are spectacular. The owner was incredibly helpful and gracious. This will be our destination for as long as it is still offered.

The best rental we've ever stayed in.
The best rental we've ever stayed in.
We've rented numerous times from VRBO both in the Napa Valley and other areas of the country. Each time those places were fine but we always were suprised by something left out or not quite to our liking. This estate is hands down the finest home we've ever stayed in. The only problem is you may not want to leave and you might spend most of your time at this lovely property. The house and grounds are simply stunning. It's a perfect location and staying off Hwy 29 is a real plus. It is perfect for entertaining and the owner could not be more helpful or thorough. I can't recommend it enough and we will be back !!

My family were flying in for our destination wedding so we wanted my family to be under one roof. The estate was exquisite. The setting was gorgeous and captured the serenity of Calistoga. The kitchen, living and breakfast room space was so generous we did not ever get the chance to use the drawing room and dining room. Each of the guest suites was uniquely appointed with artwork, antiques and artefacts collected from around the world. There is a disparity in room size and style so if you are arranging the accommodation for a group, remember to pick first! The mastersuite is gorgeous and hugely undersold on the website. There is a beautiful terrace as part of the mastersuite with sweeping views of the vineyards and an outdoor shower, plus a very generous sized bathroom. The outdoor areas of this estate are breathtaking, every corner you turn there is another surprise and a quiet area to relax. The options are endless, from relaxing by the pool, next to the firepit, playing Bocce Ball, a game of tennis, the blooming rose garden and the vegetable garden. Every morning it is a delight to experience the expanse of the open space. The house amenities are exactly what you need for a vacation rental, the only thing you need to think of bringing is food. Everything else is fully equipped. The kitchen equipment is endless and brings out the chef in you! Literally all that you need is available. The description on the website is 100% accurate and the photos truly reflect what the property is like. The house was well maintained and clean. The owner responded to all queries really quickly during the booking period and just made the whole process very easy for us. The greatest disadvantage of this rental….you will not want to leave, a week in the house makes you want to stay longer. You will not want to visit nearby Calistoga or St. Helena because the beauty and charm of this property is so exceptional. We look forward to our next stay.

Most properties don't look as beautiful as the pictures online, but this Mediterranean Estate most certainly did. The rental was very easy to book as the owner was very flexible with finding dates that matched our vacation time frame. The location is between Calistoga and St. Helena, and is very easily accessible to the Silverado Trail shall you decide to leave the beautiful home. There is much to do in the valley, but I recommend spending time at the home. I recommend making full use of the bocce ball court, the swimming pool, the tennis court and the well-maintained and bountiful on-site vegetable garden. It would be a shame to miss out on the outdoor fireplace or shower, or even the formal dining room. This home is meant to be lived in, to share time with friends and family, to relax and enjoy a get-a-way. The kitchen is stocked with every gadget and cooking utensils even a professional chef would need. The pantry even comes with a lot of fun finds from previous vacationers. There's a tv if you need it, but there is so much to do here we never turned it on. We would definitely recommend this property and would stay here again if given the opportunity. If you're looking for a one of a kind experience in Napa, this is the home.

About the owner: We built this house in the Napa Valley as a weekend get away from San Francisco. We love the weather here and being so close to the most fabulous wineries and great restaurants. We love entertaining friends and family and built the house to have all the amenities that one could possibly want while here.
Why the Owner Chose St. Helena:
We love the location. We are on the Valley floor and see both mountain ranges on either side of our property . We are surrounded by vineyards with excellent privacy but CLOSE to all the restaurants and wineries,
