You are just steps to the clear, sparkling blue Pacific waters of Carlsbad. Swim, surf, boogie board, kayak, fish, or just stroll on our sandy beaches. Or take a short walk to Carlsbad Village to discover the many quaint shops and unique restaurants.

When it comes to fun, the only limits are your time and your sense of adventure. You can golf, jet ski, take a surfing lesson, explore the flower fields, visit Legoland, the GIA, the Museum of Making Music, or Leo Carrillo Ranch, only a few of the many things to do here.

Hop on the Coaster train for a scenic ride downtown to San Diego's Santa Fe Depot, within walking distance to Petco Park, the Embarcadero, and Horton Plaza, or take the Coaster to Old Town to learn about the early days in San Diego and enjoy a delicious meal in one of several fine Mexican restaurants. Or take the Surfliner north to the picturesque mission town of San Juan Capistrano, or on to Anaheim, only an hour away.
