Magical!
From the moment I clicked on this property I could not have been more pleased. Every detail was well thought out and process was seamless. The pictures of her home did not do it justice. The house and property were magnificent! So immaculately and comfortably designed, and the grounds were nothing short of picturesque. My family and I stayed for 5 nights and will definitely be returning.

A beautiful, tranquil space for exploring the Catskills.
We loved the Red River Farm as a beautiful spot for our family of six to gather. There were beautiful indoor spaces, but we spent much of our at the house time enjoying the ample porch overlooking the pond and hills beyond and eating outdoors. The kitchen has everything to cook meals for a group, taking advantage of the many farmer's markets in tbe area. Well-maintained walking trails, a wild garden, a brook and ample lawn for frisbee and prokadima were wonderful highlights. The owner arranged a bonfire which was a lovely way to end our visit. Lakes and reservoirs for kayaking, swimming and fishing were 30 - 40 mins away with incredible views en route. We also enjoyed the Delhi Farmer's market and exploring vintage stores and the excellent book store in the cure hamlet of Andes (each about 20 mins away). The lack of cell service at the house and between towns took some getting used to, but wasnt a problem. The wifi worked well at the house. We have rented a number of places with VRBO and this was one the besr experiences ever! The owners were great hosts. Even though they were away most of the week they were always available for questions. We feel comfortable highly recommending this place!

An extraordinary retreat
I was looking for a place to seclude myself and work on writing music. I could have not found a better place than this home. A large, fully-equipped and sun-filled cozy house with wood burning fireplaces on all the right rooms that sits on 160 acres of peaceful nature. The best part, was our host. We stayed for a month and a good host was needed for that. We couldn’t ask for someone better to take care of anything we needed including wood for our fire which were delivered daily to our house. We ended up staying for another month. If you’re looking for a place with unlimited peace that will inspire you and make you feel at home, THIS IS THE HOME. Thank you for hosting us Isabelle!

Country charm with stunning views
This place hits all the right points, a pond fed with fresh spring water, a bubbling brook, a vegetable/flower garden, and peaceful quiet; all with a gorgeous view of the surrounding mountains! Pictures can’t capture the immense charm and beautiful location of this house. The house is beautifully decorated and comes with everything you need including that special touch of country charm. The space was perfect for our family of two couples and two young girls (10 and 5). Each couple had their own bedroom and the girls shared the third. There were comfortable mattresses, lovely linens, and everyone loved the special soap. The house was large enough for the little ladies to run around, play, or watch TV in the separate “TV room”. All while the adults could sit in the living room surrounded by an eclectic collection of books. But with such a gorgeous location you’ll spend most of your time outside. The wrap around porch is where you want to spend all your time! One person was on the side porch reading, another on the other side sitting on the bench facing the garden and the girls playing on the backside facing the beautiful pond, all with a beautiful view of the land. The little ladies loved the daily visits from the deer named “Luna” who snacks on the blackberries surrounding the pond and the apples from the trees around the garden. We must also mention the hummingbirds and butterflies flittering around the deck. The pond was a great place to cool off when coming back from hikes or walks that can be accessed right from the property (I recommend bringing floats for added fun), especially since we were there during some unusually hot weather. The pond is just steps away from the house and you can hear the bull frogs singing at night. We never felt the need to leave the property for any other activities except for grocery shopping. For those of us who love to cook the kitchen was stocked with top quality cooking equipment. We had everything we needed to take advantage of the outstanding foods that we picked up from the farmer’s market. Being from the city we quickly realized that running to the store on the corner when you needed something was not an option, though the 20 minute drive to the closest supermarket was a beautiful trip with horses, cows and more stunning views. Overall, we all had a fantastic time and are looking forward to coming back. We give this place our highest recommendation.

Blissful location
This gorgeous property is very special. Between the sprawling inside spaces, the beautiful views out every window, the chef's kitchen, the big fireplace, and super comfortable beds and couches, we had a wonderful stay. It was like staying in a large European villa but in the Catskills. The owners could not have been more accommodating and helpful. The entire property has a serenity about it that is very special. It is quite remote so you must plan well and bring plenty of food with you but the location is also what makes it so special. We went skiiing at Belleayre (about 40 mins away) went sledding on the property multiple times but mostly enjoyed the splendor of the house and the property. We will return...soon!
