Hello! Come here once and you will be back. We are in a quiet, secluded and safe neighborhood where you can feel you are safe and protected from the stress of the city if only for a brief while. Yet you can still go to Lake Arrowhead or Big Bear in a mere 30 minutes of a scenic drive. Want to go skiing, there is Snow Valley Ski Resort(a family oriented ski resort with plenty of snow) a mere ten minute drive from the cabin. You will immediately sense the quaintness of this beautiful mountain village with its little stores and restaurants. We have our very own beautiful private lake and are steps away from the pristine national forest. Your happiness and contentment while you take time for your family and friends is our desire.
This is not like the other cabins with NO linens, sheets, etc... WE HAVE LINENS, SHEETS, TOWELS, GIFT BASKETS and EVERYTHING else you need to enjoy your stay!! All you have to do is enjoy, take care of and respect what we have provided. There are those who truly understand and appreciate at what great lengths we go to to provide this opportunity and allow us to keep this rather extravagant home so that we all can enjoy it in the years to come.
Located only 90 minutes away from Los Angeles, Orange, and San Diego Counties, in the San Bernardino Mountains, Green Valley Lake attracts visitors seeking clean air, blue skies, crystal-clear water, and the serenity and calm beauty of a quiet forested community. Our two closest neighbors are Arrowbear and Running Springs. There are hiking trails galore and plenty of opportunities for bird watching, mountain biking, horseback riding, and in the winter, cross-country skiing. The nine-acre lake is regularly stocked for fishing, plus there are boating and swimming as well. For the sports enthusiast, Green Valley Lake offers a beach volleyball court next to the lake, plus a basketball court and a tennis court that also can be used for volleyball or badminton. Barbecue facilities are located under the trees in the adjoining picnic area. A magnificent public campground is just down the road with 40 spaces and clean restrooms. Green Valley Lake has a small downtown area that hosts a market, two restaurants, a hardware store, a gift shop and video rental, a post office, and a number of real estate offices. There is also a community church located at 648 Yukon. Further up Green Valley Lake Road you will find the Fire Dept. and a local museum. Green Valley Lake also happens to be a Mecca for artists and musicians. Three times a year (Memorial weekend, Labor Day weekend, and Thanksgiving weekend) there is an Artisan Tour in which the local artisans open up their homes or studios and display their many beautiful pieces of handmade artwork. On the 2nd Saturday of each month the local musicians get together at the Lake Inn for a European Gaelic Music Jam.
Here is a beautiful cabin on the forest edge. The smell of cinnamon candles, a blazing fire, a welcome basket all awaits your arrival. Our concierge will be there to greet you. INTIMATE LOG CABIN FOR THREE COUPLES AND THEIR CHILDREN OR THREE COUPLES. Children or a couple can stay up in in a spacious loft which has a queen bed, two twins & two trundle beds and don't forget the pool table. Parents or two couples can stay each in their own bedrooms with their own queen bed and full bathroom. The laundry room is right in the hallway.
