Owner info

Year Purchased: 2001

About the owner: We are outdoor entusiasts who love to hike, bike, fish, hunt, canoe, boat, etc., especially in a remote wilderness setting where you can get away from it all and get back to nature.

Why the Owner Chose Lake Apalachia:
Apalachia Lake is a remote mountain lake, designated a wilderness waterway by the US Forest Service. One of the few TVA lakes that remains full through-out the seasons,. Apalachia is 9.8 miles long with 31 miles of shoreline; its cool, clear water is great for boating, skiing, fishing and swimming. This hidden lake boasts some of the most impressive scenery in the eastern United States.

The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
The inconveniences of being 30 to 40 minutes away from town and on a lake without a marina or store, are far outwieighed by the felling of being in such a quiet, peaceful location.
