Nestled in the pines, within walking distance of downtown Winter Park, Silverado II has everything you need under one roof. This condominium has two bedrooms, one with a queen bed, private full bath and TV, and the second with two twin beds and an adjacent full bathroom. The living room has a fold-out sofa, so the unit can comfortably sleep six.
The condo has a full kitchen with granite counter tops and all new appliances, 40 inch flat panel TV with cable and DVD/VCR, and wooded and mountain views with lots of afternoon sunshine from its three decks. While many resort properties charge $10-15 per day for high-speed, wireless internet access. we are happy to provide this service at no additional charge! After a busy day on the slopes or trails, cozy up to the wood burning fireplace, or relax in the pool, sauna or hot tubs.
Enjoy a meal at the restaurant, and refreshments at the Silverado II Tavern, both conveniently located on-site. It is a short walk to shops and restaurants in downtown Winter Park. The ski area is only ten minutes away on the free shuttle bus that picks up at the main entrance to the complex. For your convenience, each unit has an individual locker for ski storage, and there is COVERED PARKING, a fitness center, game room and full-service ski shop on-site.
For summer adventurers, there is a wide variety of hiking and biking trails nearby and Rocky Mountain National Park is a short drive away. Grand County also boasts four championship golf courses within a short drive, and we can get you access to some great discounts on green fees.

Why the Owner Chose Silverado II
When we first visited, we really fell in love with the Winter Park area. We find Winter Park to be a bit quieter and more laid back than the hustle and bustle of other Colorado ski areas. In addition to the great skiing in the winter, there are numerous summer activities, including hiking, mountain biking, fishing, and whitewater rafting nearby. We also enjoy the 4 championship golf courses and Rocky Mountain National Park, all within a half hour drive of our condo.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
The Silverado II complex is a full service facility, with many amenities all under one roof. There are two hot tubs, a pool, sauna, game and workout rooms, laundry facilities and restaurant and bar on premises. During ski season, there is a full service ski shop and a free shuttle which picks up at the main entrance every half hour for the 10 minute ride up to the Winter Park base area. Our unit features a master bedroom with queen bed, cable TV, private full bath and deck, and the second bedroom has twin beds, private deck and adjacent full bath. The living area has a wood burning fireplace, cable TV/DVD/VCR, a large deck and free wireless internet. The complex also has covered parking which is really nice during the snow season!

Hello, we are Greg and Mary Byrd and we live in Longmont, Colorado, about 30 miles north of Denver and an hour and 45 minute drive away from Winter Park. Greg is a meteorologist and Mary is a speech-language pathologist. We have two children, Charlie, a high school senior, and Lizzy, who is a junior in college.

I totally enjoyed my stay here. I stayed solo this time, but the place is easily big enough for six. It's a perfect mountain retreat. They did a great job stocking the place with all the items you want and need-pots and pans, movies, puzzles. I was very happy with the place and the price and I will definitely stay here again!

Perfect location, easy access, comfy bed. The owners were easy and responsive. Everything worked! Well stocked kitchen as far as utensils, dishes, silverware, pots n pans, coffee cups. The interior was a little dated, but we were looking for price, location and availability. We would definitely stay here again. The ski shop on site was friendly and inexpensive. We loved staying here!

When we first acquired this unit, all of the furnishings were original, so we try to make some updates each year, including new appliances, new granite counter tops in the kitchen, and most recently, new flooring in the kitchen and entry way. What a great deal. Very quiet and it had everything we needed. The kids would have been content to spend the entire trip in the pool and hot tub. They did have some days where they weren't at the proper temp, but the staff corrected it. The game room was a disappointment to our 10-year-old, but he didn't miss it much. Don't try to sleep with the windows or deck doors open unless you can sleep through a train that sounds like it's coming right through the condo. We learned that the first nigt and slept through it with the doors closed after that. There was construction going on across the street, but it wasn't too much of a distraction. All in all a very good experience.
Owner response:We thank our guests for the wonderful feedback! Like many vacation properties in the Winter Park area, trains do pass nearby. While the train tracks are several hundred yards away and on the opposite side of the complex, summer guests may want to close the doors to the bedroom decks upon retiring for the evening, as there are one or two trains that do come by overnight. As noted, with the doors closed the trains are hardly noticeable, as is the case during ski season, when train noise has not been mentioned in the guest comments we've received.

Very convenient location. Great for kids, especially younger ones - loads of games and videos for the down times. A swing set for the kids where you can keep an eye from the balcony, and hospitable and friendly lodge/condo help. If we return to Colorado for another vacation, we'd definitely look into this condo again.
