This converted stone barn has been made into two self-catering 2-bedroom properties, each sleeping 4 people comfortably with the option of a travel cot in each. The gîtes/cottages, can be rented together or apart and have been newly renovated in 2010 with all new furnishings. There is a double bedroom and a twin / superking bedroom in each gîte, with new hotel quality beds. The properties have broadband/wifi access including free international telephone calls. Gîte Lily has a small, south facing enclosed garden with a terrace area and barbeque. The houses are in a very quiet spot ,surrounded by fields with horses and cows, but within walking distance (800m) of the village, which has a restaurant (lunch only), bakery, play ground, post office, butcher, tennis court, equestrian centre and two bars. Moyon is in the centre of la Manche, an hour from Cherbourg and Caen ferry ports, and an hour and a half from Dinard airport (with Ryanair flights), and from Deauville airport.

We had a lovely stay in Polly’s Gite Lily. It was quiet and relaxing, small but okay for us, 2 adults and 12 year and 9 year old kids. We had a great last minute family holiday at Gite Lily. The Gite was clean and very well stocked. We loved the fact that we didnt have to bring bedding towels etc and arrived very lightly. Only one bag! We had our two girls, 14 and 10 and found plenty to do. Bayeaux was worth a visit, I didnt realise the tapestry was so long. We tracked down all the local markets and visited the beaches everyday. Granville was their favourite as it had a outdoor pool that appeared as the tide went out. Le Mont St Michel was amazing and really worth the trek. We would recommend the Gite, Polly and the girls were great and so were the dogs, cats and horses too!. Thanks a bunch. A very nice rental, in a quiet place, where you can rest during your holiday. The reception is sympathic, and the place is quite near from Normand touristic places as Saint Lô, Saint Malo (80 km) or Le Mont Saint-Michel (70km). I recommend it to you for your holiday!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, pet owners, age 55+, families with young children.

Wow! We have no idea where to start? The gite was in a marvelous and quaint town of Moyon, just south of Saint Lo. We had visited the area to have easy access to D-Day memorial sites as well as beaches, and this was the perfect spot to do so. Not only did we do what we set out, but we found the area to be such an unbelievable and friendly place. The gite itself was fantastic, with all of the amenities one could possibly need. It had a wonderful living room (big enough for a large family, so more than enough for us) with a flat screen TV, full-sized kitchen where we cooked most of our meals, and spacious bedrooms, all of which were very clean and tidy. The gite also had a small deck perfect for early evening cordials and beautiful horses running in the adjoining pasture. The property owner was extremely helpful with suggestions on local events, as well as anything that we needed on site (without being overbearing, which was great). Overall, we highly recommend staying here, and I am sure we will be back!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, pet owners, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children, people with disabilities.

We spent a wonderful week in this flat. The owners were extremely kind and helpful. Their holiday flat is very clean and tastefully decorated. It is in the country, very quiet with sweet-smelling air, but not far from the next village. The kitchen is excellently equipped with all modern appliances; can thoroughly recommend the accomondation and also the local produce.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

location très propre, la propriétaire à été très agréable et souriante, cadre très agréable ,petit gîte très sympathique pour des vacances de 4 personnes, proche du petit village Moyon (boulangerie, magasin d'alimentation, ..). About the owner: I am a single mum, with two great girls aged 7 & 8. I am a full-time teacher at a Business School.
Why the Owner Chose Ste-Suzanne-sur-Vire:
I came to France when I was 24 and saw this house near the village of Moyon and fell in love with it. We moved here in the September of 1995, and gradually began converting one of the barns. Now 17 years later, we are still working on improvements on the property, all though finally most of that is actually happening on the main house.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage:
I fell in love with this area on my first visit to Bayeux and that was the basis of our search for a new home. We are very well located for visiting the local sites. We are equi-distant to most of them, such as Bayeux, Granville, Cherbourg, Mont St Michel. There is also a very lively music scene locally, which never fails to surprise people.
