Great condo, beautiful view and very clean! We loved staying at your condo, the property was beautiful and the unit was very clean and well kept. We felt very safe and comfortable staying, we jokingly said we'd have no problem leaving the door unlocked! We ventured into town a few times via cab and then decided the bus was just as easy! We will definitely be returning:)

Hi Debbie and Bill, I just wanted to say thank you for such a wonderful week we had while staying in your condo! It was truly a delight and we hope we can return each year! Everyday was magical and offered the break my husband and I needed. This is by far our favorite place we have traveled to and I can understand why you invested in such a lovely place. Everyone was so nice and Jose at the reception area arranged our zip line tour and even secretly told them it was my birthday which ended up with my own little song and dance by the zip line crew. It was hilarious! Thank you so much for all your recommendations, they helped us navigate the area with ease! We hope to be back soon!

Amazing oceanfront condo

Debbie, Thank you for allowing us to stay at your condo. We had a totally wonderful and terrific time in the area. The condo and the condo complex were excellent. The ocean front location and the pool and amenities were great. We did end up renting a car and got out to Todos, La Paz, and San Jose. We did a bunch of snorkeling and whale watching. The latter was just amazing. I had never seen anything like the whales during rush hour! We could also see whales from the condo balcony. Unbelievable! The pool and related amenities were great. The staff were all helpful at the condo complex. The only item that I meant to communicate about was the screen door onto the balcony was pretty inoperable from the get go. I think was off its tracks or quickly headed that way, so we had to have the glass door closed most of the time. Thanks again for sharing such a beautiful spot. Regards, Mary

We had a wonderful time. The view from the balcony was spectacular! ! The condo was comfortable and well equipped. While it was clean...more attention to details such as airfilters, fans and baseboards would be nice. The bed was very comfortable and we loved going to sleep and waking up to the sight and sound of the sea each day!!

We had a fabulous time and very much enjoyed your condo! It is very well stocked and nicely appointed. I loved the blue and yellow kitchen color scheme! Your instructions and tips were very helpful. We arrived at night after stops at Costco and Wal-Mart. The deck views are wonderful, we felt we were on our own private yacht? We also loved the beach and snorkeling. We went to Chileano Bay to snorkel and thought there was more variety at our beach. We had lunch at the Grand Solmar on the pacific side which was not remarkable- tempura fish tacos. We had a terrific sea bass dinner at Sunset Mona Lisa the last night (we went to the Pizza place to see the sunset two other times). We avoided the tours to snorkeling areas and the arch as we had both right there at Missiones! We also went to Mexican night at the pool bar that Jan recommended and the food was ok. We did not try Friday Seafood night. Pedro who handles the bar was very nice and gave us a good tip as to the best place to buy snorkeling gear. The grounds of are so lovely and very well maintained. We did have a very nice lunch in San Jose at a dive on the Blvd Mijares (after the roundabout on the left) - 3 Fish tacos and 2 beers for $7 which were very tasty and better than the fish tacos at the Grand Solmar. We are looking forward to returning now that we know our way around a bit! I have also told my co-workers about your condo as well. Thank you for all you did to make our vacation so perfect!

Nice condo with a beautiful view, convenient to Cabo San Lucas

The condo was a perfect place to spend a few days relaxing in Baja. The kitchen was equipped well for cooking, and was very comfortable. The view from the private deck was stunning. Misiones is located conveniently close to several stores. Wifi works well near the reception area, and is free. Debbie, the owner, was easy to get in contact with via email to make arrangements, and provided a very helpful guide of information useful for traveling in the area. Hope to go back soon!

The condo whihchwe rented was perfect for 2 people. It is located right on the water with an unbelievable view. We have stayed at the Missiones before and have enjoyed it. We can't wait to go back again.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Misiones Resort! The place was beautiful, clean, and everyone we met was nice. Our view was spectacular too. The grounds were well kept and clean. Getting to the resort at night was a little difficult, not too many lights or street signs. We did sport fishing with Mucho Loco, Pepe the poolside cook - cooked up our California Yellow Tail - fabulous! We ate at the Mona Lisa and watched the sunset while dining. We didn't see a whale from our balcony, but did see a whale on our snorkeling cruise! We also did zip linig with Wild Canyon Adventures - it was fun - but be prepared to do some walking! We would definately go back!

Recommended for: Families with young children, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

Very Relaxing !

My wife and I had a very relaxing time here. The condo was very private with gorgeous views of the ocean. Every morning we would sit on the deck with our coffee and watch whales. Every night we would fall asleep listening to the Ocean surf. The beach below was convenient and offered good snorkling. Overall, I would recommend this property for a 2 people. Might be crowded for any more people.

I cannot say enough good thing about vacation. The Resort is beautiful with tropical plans everywhere had a open pool par and is very quiet and relaxing. As far as the condo unit itself. has a view that you can't forget. We wake up everyone morning whit the Sun in our eyes and go to bed everyone listening to the waves crashing into the rocks. The accommodations are great. They have all you need there including sink, bath stove, microwave, dishes towels, laundry machine. and much more. Its the best place I have stated will go back there at least once a year.

Great view, location, clean and cozy for 2!

My husband and I just got back from a week at this unit. We really enjoyed our stay! The owners are very attentive and have taken care of the problems expressed by some previous reviews. Directions to the unit were perfect. The unit was very clean, all applicances worked and equipped with everything you need - even had soap, laundry detergent and cleaning supplies, beach chairs and umbrellas! We loved sitting out on the balcony and watching for whales. My husband enjoyed being there more than the pool as he loves seeing and hearing the ocean which you can not see from the pool. Loved hearing the ocean at night, seeing the cruise ships coming in and leaving and just enjoying the fabulous view!! The only slight negative was the couch (maybe due to being a sleeper couch) was not very comfortable to sit on to watch TV (although admit we did not do a lot of that other than the Academy awards)- spent more time outside than inside anyway or out to restaurants in the evening. The unit is perfect for 2 but may be a little too "cozy" for more than 2 adults. We had a car so were able to easily get around to Costco, Walmart and restaurants. There were Taxis by the entrance to Missiones del Cabo and can also get on the Collectivo bus on the main road- so having a car might not be a necessity - but I admit it was nice to have. Recommend the Wednesday night Mexican dinner at the pool-then going to hear Rosalia de Cuba at Puerto Vieja - she is fabulous! View there and at Sunset da Mona Lisa is breathtaking!! Both have great food also! The Sunset grill (above Sunset da Mona Lisa) has free tapas from 4- 6 PM so can go there to have a drink, watch the sunset and have a light bite too. Our only regret was that we didn't book it for 2 weeks - hated to leave!

The "1" star rating is for the view from the balcony. Other than that, I cannot honestly find anything else positive to say about this condo. I will leave my emotions aside and give you just the facts. The entrance is down a non-descript uneven road with a barb wired fence lining the right side of the entry way and abandoned low income housing lining the left. The property itself is under construction in various areas but has a nice pool and swim up bar (no food served). I arrived to find a constantly running toilet that later became a clogged toilet. I tried to contact the handyman and left (2) messages for him and (1) email for the owner (no response from either). After (3) days, I finally tracked him down through the pool's bartender and he did make an attempt to fix the plumbing issues but the problems continued throughout our stay. My first (2) hours in the condo were spent looking on-line for other accommodations. That meant an extra $1500-$2000 out of pocket. Needless to say, I stuck it out as I had no other recourse at the time. The unit was built in the late 1980's and I could find nothing but the microwave that had been updated since then. From the rusty toaster to the tin foil covered stove top, the kitchen was something out of a trailer park. The couch was the most uncomfortable piece of furniture of all time and it made for the most uncomfortable sofa bed as well. The owner was notified that it would definitely be used during our stay and yet when I pulled the bed out for it's first use, out poured a half cup of sand, various chips and crumbs from other unknown foods. The entertainment system is a convoluted mess that comes with a half page instruction sheet and takes (4) remotes just to be able to watch tv. On top of that, they use a cable company called "Sky" which broadcasts 95% of their programs in Spanish. Odd since every renter spoke English and were from either the US or Canada. The deck has a great view but is overloaded with so much furniture, it needs to be stacked in one corner. The shower has a very slow drain so plan on standing in (2) inches of water from beginning to end. And who installs a cushioned toilet seat in a rental property? I requested that there be (2) beach chairs for (2) grown adults. I was again let down as there were only (2) small metal ones that were befitting a pre-teen. Last but not least, this unit is infested with tiny ants. They can be found on every surface area. A small step above camping, never again...

Owner response: I flew to our condo in Cabo shortly after your review because it was our first bad review and I was appalled when I read it. I did discover ants but was able to put the ant killer Terro out and they were gone within a day. I also had the toilet replaced with a new one; however, while waiting for the new one to be installed I did not experience it clogging; I did hear it run occasionally. I have never given the cushioned toilet seat a thought but the toilet that I purchased come with a new seat. As far as the buildings located on the road coming down to the resort … that is something that I can do nothing about ... this is Mexico. The swim up pool bar kitchen has been completed and offers a great menu. I did not know that they were putting in a new kitchen area at the pool bar and I do apologize for that. I spoke with our property manager about your review and according to him he took care of the toile issue. I DID respond to your email, not immediately, but I did respond. The toaster and drip pans cleaned up like new. The shower drain needed cleaned out and I have asked the maid to lift the drain cap and clean it out prior to every guest arrival. I can be naive when it comes to TV remotes but I turned the TV on, hit the guide and was able to watch many good ole American programs. I checked at Costco and beach chairs do not come in small, medium, large or extra large, only one size should fit all so I did not replace them as they are in great shape. I decided to sleep on the sofa bed to check for comfort, it was not horrible but I must admit I did get a better rest in the regular bed. I did give away two extra chairs that were on the balcony. Your stay was the week of 12/1/12, the reviews prior to your stay mostly 5 star ratings, your review states that you spent the first two hours of your arrival looking for another place ... it sounds as though you were unhappy when you landed at the airport.

Great front row Cabo condo!!!!

My wife and I rented this condo for a 10 day stay over the Thanksgiving holiday. It’s very cozy, well-appointed and extremely clean. The balcony is a great place to relax, watch the ocean and listen to the crashing surf. The property is in a beautiful resort that is gated, which gave us a good sense of security. The grounds are lush and the pool was close by and not terribly crowded. The Mona Lisa Restaurant is right next door, we enjoyed a drink and spectacular sunsets there several nights. The location is great because it is not in the crowded downtown area but a short ride away. Costco and Home Depot are very close by and we enjoyed the close proximity to many great restaurants. Villa Serena was one of our favorites. The VRBO ad for this property did not over sell! The pictures represent the property very well and it is an excellent value for a high quality place. My husband and I really enjoyed this unit. The views from the balcony were excellent and the balcony was very private. The unit was fine for 2 people. The location was fine, would have liked to have been closer to the golf courses but was not a long drive. Location had a fabulous resturant within walking distance. The men at the information desk were great and very helpful, lining up golf and fishing for us. The only complaint I have is the ants in the kitchen and bathroom. Spraying did not help keep them at bay for long. Also, the cable never worked, but the movie selction was good, so we really did not miss the cable to much. Highly recommend staying at this rental and would rent it again in the future.

Took my wife on a surprise 25th wedding anniversary trip. We have been going to Hawaii for the past 20+ years staying at places with great views and this condo rates up there. We spent alot of time on the balcony just listening to the waves crash against the rocks below. You can leave the balcony doors open at nite and hear the waves all nite long. When you wake up the sunrise is breathtaking. Complex is clean and safe. We rented a car to get around when we wanted to. Debbie supplied a nice list of places to go. When we got in we went to Costco and bought food to bbq on the balcony (in condo description on VRBO gas grill was listed) big selling point for me well grill didn't work. We were there during World Series and being from St Louis(who was playing in series) wanted to watch game and again in VRBO description stated sat. tv, well didn't work. If Cards weren't playing in WS tv most likely may not have come on. Thes two mishaps put a small damper on things. No fault to owners but wifi at pool was not working either. All in all clean condo with great view.Had a nice time wish everything was in working order if I was owner I would have offered discount but no big deal.

We stayed in this amazing condo June 2011. Such a great location being so close to the swimming beach. The view from the deck is so beautiful and private. (side note for those traveling with children... The railing on the deck is very low and the deck is very high off the ground- so the deck was completely off limits to our two year old. But my husband and I enjoyed the deck a ton when our little one when to sleep for the night) Owners were wonderful and answered all my questions prior to our arrival.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in the condo. It was very comfortable for 2 people. Tons of DVD's for nightime movies. Great patio overlooking the crashing surf. Breathtaking Views!!

We were at this condo for 9 nights and just got back, it was Amazing!! The balcony was our favorite place to hang out. We watched whales and dolphins while having breakfast every morning! The privacy was great. The beach was very private and very beautiful, and another plus, there was no beach vendors!!! Everything we needed was in the condo, it was very convenient! I would recommend this place to just about anyone. This condo and its owners made our stay Wonderful and one I will never forget:)

I have been going to this complex, since the early 1990's. I have stayed in more than 30 different units on the misiones property and i must say that this unit is, on my top 3. It is right on the water, the balcony is completely private. This one bedroom unit is perfect for a couple, thats wants a romantic getaway. The unit was nicely furnished, with satalite tv radio, which we never used, due to the picture perfect view of the sea, from the balcony. When we were there, in MAY 2010, there were not alot of people, we had the swimming pool, pretty much to ourselves. The property is very safe & secure and even though we rented a car, the complex has a shuttle service between misiones & downtown Cabo, throughout the day. The property is is very well maintained lots of beautiful palm trees, flowers & exotic plants. Whether this unit or the complex, in general. Misiones is the only place i stay at, when in Cabo San Lucas. Why stay at a Hotel, when you can stay at your very own Condo.

Delightful Cabo condo

The weather during our first visit to Cabo may have been uncooperative, but the accommodations were heavenly. The condo is situated on the top floor and has nothing but ocean views. We left the doors open at night and were lulled to sleep by the crashing waves. We found everything we needed in this cozy condo and the complex itself was beautiful and welcoming as well. We've already booked a return visit and hope to come back for many years to come!

The condo is on the top floor (3rd) the building right at the edge of the water, so the view is of the ocean, and the rocks below. The sound of the waves crashing against the rocks is enough to make me want to come back to this exact condo, but add everything else in, and it is unbeatable. The condo is comfortable, very nicely furnished, and just right for a romantic getaway for two. The balcony is totally private too. The sweet and friendly neighbors who live there nearly year round also make this spot desirable. The kitchen has all you need to enjoy some lunches and dinners at home. There are two different beaches which are secluded, and only used by the people at the property, so they are more quiet and relaxing. We stayed for nine nights, and didn't want to leave. We LOVE this place. This December will be our 5th time back. You can see the sunrise from your bed or deck, listen to the water coming in over the rocks, and walk down steps to a swimming and snorkeling beach. It's really quite perfect. The best condo in the complex. You truly are right on the water. The owners are great, too.

This condo should be the place for everyone's honeymoon. It is so private and romantic with the views and sounds of the ocean. Stress melts away. It is well appointed and very comfortable.

We stayed here in February of 2009. WOW! The view was perfect, the place was beautiful,the owners were great. It doesn't get any better unless we are able to go again!! The only drawback is if you can't do stirs. 3 short flights of stairs.
