My husband and I were looking for a nice getaway from LA. I'm SO THRILLED we found this house. It was just perfect. The house is in a quiet, lovely neighborhood and equipped with everything we needed. We had to "must haves" on our list for finding a rental. 1) Bringing our two dogs -- which we could (yay), and 2) finding a place with a GREAT outside area. I wanted a pool, hot tub and lots of outside furniture - which is exactly what we got and more. I'm happy to say it more than exceeded our expectations. The outside space is much bigger than it appears in the pictures. The hot tub is HUGE. Plenty of room everywhere. Love that the water from the hot tub spills into the pool creating a zen fountain effect. We spent the bulk of our time outside and we didn't want to leave. This time it was just us but this is a great house to rent with a group - and we'll likely do that again in the near future!

We had a great time staying here. The house was very clean, well maintaned, aforward well equipped for our stay. The pool is a good size and the space around was very ample for relaxing and hanging out. The hot tub is well placed in relation to the pool and easy to get in and out of. Each room has it's own sliding door to the pool area which is a nice touch. The drive say can hold 2 full size cars easily. The gas fireplace was nice feature on the one chilly night we had. I would love to have had a stereo for playing music, especially in the pool area but none exists. We did use the cable tv for the music channels which worked in a pinch. The host is extreme nice and was very accessible to our questions and needs when desired. I'd definitely come back again.

We had a wonderful stay at the property. We found the location to be ideal with airport pickups and droffs being a breeze, which was nice as we had some guests fly in and out. The outdoor space at this home is very private and the landscaping and beautiful pool made it easy to spend many afternoons relaxing at home. The neighbourhood is friendly and safe with nice trails along a couple of golf courses just a short walk or jog away. Hillary was excellent to deal with, as were the other staff who look after the home. We would happily stay at this home on a any future visits to Palm Springs.

This property is all about outdoor living. It boasts a completely enclosed front sitting/barbeque area, side garden with flowering Bougainvillia, and a huge back garden area with pool, spa, large dining area and multiple seating areas surrounded by desert garden landscaping. The view of the San Jacinto mountains is fantastic and MUST be seen at dawn. Hillary is rapidly responsive to any questions. And the property is close to everything in Palm Springs but in a quiet area. I highly recommend this property for anybody who wishes to enjoy outdoor living with privacy. It truly is a "desert oasis".

A group of friends and I decided we needed a weekend getaway in Palm Springs. After looking through a bunch of potential rental houses on various websites, we came across the Desert Oasis. The backyard is truly an oasis! You'll enjoy lounging on the comfortable chaise lounge chairs, swimming in the clean, beautiful pool, and dinners outside. The house was really clean and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. We actually only left the house twice the entire three day weekend. The owner was incredibly easy to deal with and the house was perfect.

My family and I needed a quick getaway from all that LA has to offer and we found paradise for the weekend in Palm Springs. We had an amazing stay! The house was beautiful and modern and the backyard, absolutely inviting. The only time we actually went inside was to sleep! I have stayed in PS many a times but this was just so peaceful and relaxing. The pool was a lot larger than most PS homes and even when it was 115 outside the pool stayed surprisingly cool. That is always a bonus! The place was clean clean clean! I’m extremely picky with the homes in stay in and I can tell you, I can’t wait for another chance to visit. It really felt like home away from home. If you are planning on being in the area, you have to visit! The owners made the rental process so easy and they were extremely accommodating. Hillary, thank you again for all you help and for making the process so pleasant! We can’t wait to enjoy your beautiful home again!

I just returned from a long weekend at this amazing home and I am already planning my return. The pool was amazing and the views peaceful and relaxing. Hillary was a pleasure to work with and made the arrival painless. After going for a run, in the quiet neighborhood, I would return to the house, jump in the pool and have coffee in a lounge chair! Who can beat that? Loved it.

I am tempted to give one star so I can keep this place a secret (not likely given the all the other great reviews). Anyway, Hillary came to my rescue at the last minute when the place I had originally booked (off craigslist) turned out to be a complete dump. I looked up places on VRBO, and she called me back first. It was 5 p.m., we were rather frazzled after a 9 hour drive and the stress of finding our original place to be so awful - but Hillary saved the day! She immediately arranged for someone to meet us at her house to see if it would work for us - what a relief it was to walk in the door and see a spotless, stylish home, with a sparkling blue pool. She made the whole transaction painless. Within an hour we went from stressing and sweating in the PS heat to flopping into the cool pool. I don't even think the photos do it justice, it's even more beautiful "in person" so to speak... Don't hesitate to stay here.

We were in Palm Spring for many times ,but this house was one of the best & favorite one that we had great time with my family & friends.The kids enjoyed the large pool ,adult enjoyed the beautiful orange back yard .The house was very clean & comfortable specialy every bedroom had door enterence for the pool. A group of us stayed here for a girls' weekend of shopping and relaxation. We couldn't have picked a better place to stay! The house is located on a quiet street near the airport, but there was no noise from the planes. All the shops are a short drive away. The house and furnishings are modern and comfortable: After a long day of being out and about, we'd collapse on the couch and admire the awesome wood ceiling. We also loved that each of the bedrooms has a sliding door to the backyard which has a pool, spa and bbq. The owner is super easy to work with. She was very responsive to all of my (many) communications to her. It really is the perfect house for a getaway. Our only mistake was not staying longer.

We've rented a lot of houses in P.S. before, but this one was by far our favorite. The backyard was our own piece of paradise, the beautiful simple interior of the house felt warm and inviting -- we felt right at home! Hillary was such a pleasure to deal with, and made the whole rental experience actually fun! We plan on coming back in the fall, and can't recommend it highly enough!

We rented the place for a short weekend with friends, and can not wait to return. The house is great - modern, comfortable, and with a backyard that invites long days in the pool and sun. Guests should know that the beds are full-sized which worked fine for all of us (and we are not small people). The owners were incredibly easy to deal with, responsive even over the weekend when I thought the dishwasher was not working (my mistake), and really a pleasure. I highly recommend this house as your choice when going to Palm Springs!

Stayed here for Coachella. Very convenient location right in Palm Springs with plenty nearby. The house inside was really nice with no issues at all. Love the pool and hot tub in the back. Just a flat out great back patio and pool area. Definitely recommend.

Hillary was very easy to deal with and responded to any issues that came up immediately. The property is actuallly nicer than what the photos suggest. The property was very clean when we arrived and having access to a washer/dryer in the unit was a big plus. The property is very relaxing and ideal for get togethers inside around the kitchen island and outdoors in the backyard. Plenty of lounge chairs for hanging out by the pool. A large outdoor dining table outside allowed us to eat most of out meals outside. Would defiitely recommend others. Centrally located and a short drive to supermarket to stock the fridge. The home is a beautiful and comfortable mid-century getaway perfect for entertaining or just relaxation. It is very family and pet friendly. We had a wonderful vacation this Christmas! We were there with our 1 yr old daughter and 20 year old nephew and there was plenty of room for everyone. The house is a perfect retreat in a beautiful setting. The house has 2 very private and stunningly decorated patios with glorious views of the mountains and even in December, we were in swimsuits at the fabulous pool and spa! This house was great fun! It was me and my husband, my 14 year old daughter, my 18 year old niece and 25 year old son, and we all fit very comfortably. The house was conveniently located to a shopping center where we stocked up the frig. The amenities were great, huge refrigerator, convection oven, microwave and dishwasher, washer and dryer which was very convenient for drying towels every night. All the comforts of home and more! My wife and I enjoyed our getaway weekend at this wonderful home. It is everything the listing says it is. Everything you could possibly need can be found at the house. The pool/spa area is especially nice, and it is very peaceful and quiet. I did have some concerns that there might be a lot of airplane noise since it is relatively close to the airport, but those concerns were unfounded. It was, as I said, quiet and peaceful. Hillary was great to work with and we will definitely return in the future.

My family photo album is filled with great times at this home! We recently celebrated a 3 day birthday party with friends. The bedrooms were comfortable enough for all 6 of us (3 couples). Outside there are different sitting areas to congregate or get away. The kitchen has all the comforts and utensils to serve a Thanksgiving dinner (I did that in 2008). The spa heats up quickly. At night you can enjoy the view of the Tramway going up the side of the mountain. So relaxing and comfortable...we never want to leave.

We had a fantastic family vacation at the Oasis! Everything was perfect. The house has everything you need. It's clean and comfortable and close to everything. We loved your home and your great pool with really comfy lounge chairs (and lots of them). The umbrellas were perfect for adding shade when we needed it and we enjoyed the large outside table. We enjoyed the beautiful view while floating in the pool!! The location is a short drive to downtown Palm Springs. Hillary was very easy to work with, very accomodating, flexible and prompt to answer our questions. We had a small problem with the spa and it was fixed within the hour! We would recommend this house!

We stayed at Desert Oasis for three days during the second week of November for our son's first birthday. He loves swimming and the warm swimming pool with its waterfall made it extremely fun for him. We also enjoyed very much the hot tub with the views on the impressive San Jacinto mountain range. The house was clean, functional and up to our expectations. Hillary and Maxine were also very responsive and helpful. We found their rate competitive and would go there again.

Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed the space of this cute home. The kids loved the pool and hot tub and I loved the abundance of umbrellas in the back to shade me when watching. It is a very quiet location and easy to get to amenities and other areas of Palm Springs. Close to the airport, but without the noise! We would definitely stay there again.

We thoroughly enjoyed this lovely 3 bedroom home. We spent the most time in/around the pool and spa, enjoying the mountain view behind. It's close to downtown, the airport, grocery stores and nearby hiking. The well-equipped kitchen/living room area is spacious and looks out on the pool and mountains. I loved how each room had a sliding glass door that led out to the incredible pool area. The kitchen was well stocked and the house was cozy. It was a great location, central to everything. You were wonderful to work with and we hope to return one day soon.

Hillary and Max/owners were very nice and accomodating especially since we rented at the last minute. Their hospitality began before we got to their beautiful home! The home was very comfortable, clean and perfect for our weekend getaway. Thank you ladies for the use of your desert paradise! We will defiantely rent this home again.

I stay at this fabulous house several times a year. It has become my second home. I love the layout and the totally comfortable environment. The outdoor area is awesome. The house is very accommodating for entertaining and hanging with the friends. The location is great! We need to make a run to Ralph's daily for the day's treats. It also close to all the fun restaurants and casino in town. I would say wonderful things, but I am afraid everyone would book it every weekend. I just thought this great Desert Oasis deserved a shout out. DG
