Our family loved the trees and foliage surrounding the property. It is very secluded and a true getaway. We really enjoyed the screened porch (although fans would be a nice addition). The furniture was comfortable and we loved the large dining table. This was our first trip to Edisto and not our last. We loved the quiet, easy pace of the island and the natural beauty. We highly recommend Edisto, this property and Edisto Realty. The vacation was wonderful!
Owner response:We are pleased to learn that you enjoyed the property as well as the family beach experience of Edisto. Please vist again soon.

We loved the house and the location. Very relaxed and basic. Close access to the beach and beautiful bike path that you can hop on right behind the house. The house was great with a wonderful screened in porch. The town is very simple with no tourist traps which we loved. You will not see putt-putt or tons of restaurants. it reminded us of an old fashioned beach town. We would definitely recommend the house to friends.
Owner response:We are very pleased to learn that you enjoyed your visit. We hope that you will return.....House now has New Top Floor Master Suite complete with Bamboo Floors and BeadBoard walls.... providing the option of 4BR 3BA sleeping 13. Photos available upon email request.

I spent a week at The Delightful Edisto Beach Getaway with several of my girlfriends at the end of Jan. We had a blast! The weather was great in the 50's and it felt like we were the only ones there! We loved the house, it's laid out very conviently and very spacious; well equiped and clean. We loved the big old oak tree and took pics of each other climbing it! The bikes were perfect for getting around. The bike trail is in the back yard and so accessible from one end of the island to the other. I think this would be a great place in the summer too, because there's lots of shade and very close to the beach. Great family reunion place! Very safe away from main traffic. Loved, Loved, Loved it! ~Susie Old Fort, NcC

You will love this island getaway for many reasons. We so enjoyed the privacy and quiet, with close proximity to the beach and bike trail. The house is comfortable and well maintained - we would recommend it to anyone seeking a restful location. We spent the week canoeing in the marsh, birdwatching, visiting Botany Bay - an incredible spot for hiking with a lovely beach. If you're patient you will find some of the tiniest whole shells you'll ever see on the beach near the house. We look forward to returning many times, and see no reason to look for a different rental. This place is as good as it gets!
Owner response:Thx for your thoughtful comments, Sue....I'm pleased you enjoyed your visit...... Kyle

I spent all of last week at this house with my family. It was perfect for us and our small children. The concreted area under the house and the back yard were great for them to play in when they were not with us on the bike path or at the beach. Although the house was as close to everything we needed as it could get, it was still secluded at the same time. Thanks for letting us stay at your house.
Owner response:I am glad you were pleased with the accomodations. Please visit again, soon.
