The charming communities of Watercolor, Seaside, and Rosemary Beach are all within easy driving distance. If you are feeling a little more energetic, bicycles can be hired to cycle the same route.
At night, there are high quality seafood, Italian, and pizza restaurants within Gulf Place and other popular options just a short drive away. If you want to take advantage of the fully-equipped kitchen; the nearby Shrimper's Seafood Market is a great place to pick up fresh seafood, including delicious, locally-caught shrimp and blue crab.

About the owner: My native state is Texas, but I have also lived in and enjoyed New Mexico and Oklahoma. I am a former elementary school teacher with a degree from The University of Texas at Austin. Because I love it so much, I have relocated to Santa Rosa Beach and now live here full time!
Why the Owner Chose Gulf Place Cabanas: I have chosen Gulf Place Cabanas #103 because of its close proximity to the shops, restaurants, beach, and the pool. Miss Lucille's is a quick 1-2 min. walk for a vanilla latte, and the heated pool is right outside the back patio. The convenience and central location sold me!
The Unique Benefits at this Condo: Gulf Place caught my eye because it is very well maintained, has planned activities on the premises, is away from the congestion of Destin, but is only a short drive if a person wants more to do. In addition, I love being able to just walk across the street to reach the beach and then the convenience of rinsing off my feet at the outdoor showers provided by Gulf Place when I return!
