About this property
Pondfront cottage on Stillwater Pond
Set your clocks back 50 years, and fish for your breakfast from your own dock or row-boat. This setting has been described as the nicest setting in Chatham. Very Private. Bordered by Conservation Land, our 2 1/2 acre get-away is a treasure from times past. A row boat, fishing gear, stand-up paddle board, and a lot of serenity. Very nice master bedroom w/ queen size bed, and a great second bedroom with two twin beds. We encourage Sunday or mid week check in times. This will help you to avoid the heaviest of the incoming Cape traffic.

Good fishing, good kayaking and paddle boarding, good deep sea fishing and convenient to beaches and whale watching. Chatham is a good place to vacation.
Exactly what I expected for the price point. Will rent again next year if available. The setting is unbeatable and the cottage is an authentic cape with all the character, history, and charm. AC works well, but does not beat the breeze off the pond with all the windows and doors open. Screens are completely competent to accomodate the breeze without bringing the wildlife with it.
The Pursel cottage was built by my grandfather around 1950. It has been enjoyed by 5 generations of our family. We are pleased to share this property with you.
Why they chose this property
You probably can not find an authentic cottage like this on Cape Cod today.. You will be amazed at the privacy and serenity. If you are looking for time gone by, this setting is perfect. Very private, and yet conveniant to Chatham, and the outer Cape.
What makes this property unique
Pond setting,,, very excellant bass, perch and pickeral fishing on your own dock, or in your own row boat. Our 2 1/2 acres, bordered by conservation land, make for a vacation with the magic of Cape Cod Past.
