Thanks so much for sharing your Summer House with us. We loved the location, close to the beach and any kind of shopping we needed. We had a ball and hope to come back. Destin has the most beautiful beach we have ever seen, would rent it again without any hesitation.

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

Dear Antonio & Mayte, I just wanted to thank you for the opportunity to rent your Destin condo. It was beautiful and perfect for my family with the beach so close and the pool just out the back door. We totally enjoyed our stay and are hoping to go back again next summer.

Owner provides excellant customer service and condo is well represented by the description and pictures. The pool was well maintained and the location was very convenient to gulf, shopping, restaurants, etc. Our 2 children enjoyed the bunk beds. We would definately consider coming back next time we are in the Destin area. Thank you.

Hello Mayte and Antonio Asun: We would like to thank you for renting your house in Destin Florida to us. It was a great place and we had a vacations' blast. The unit was gorgeous, cozy and definitely well equipped for our necessities. We love that the beach was only across street, the pool is awesome, the patio and yard is enormous. I thought this was a great place to stay. It was past the busier part of Destin. There is CVS drug store close that has about everything you need, and two grocery stores, eating places, and shopping places close by. There is a Wings store right next to the townhomes, and the beach is right across the street, and was not crowded! The pool is great, and the big yard is very nice! There is an outside shower and water spicket so you can clean off the sand from the beach. The back porch is nice; and the landscaping around each porch and in the yard and around the pool is very nice! There are two parking spots right in front of the door. The refrigerator has filtered water, so purchasing bottled water is not necessary. The washer and dryer are very nice. Here are the negative aspects of the property that we experienced. It is an older building. My husband had to twist-tie the Master bathroom toilet to get it to flush, and the other shower dripped constantly. The ironing board needed a new cover, and the iron was pretty much broken. The sleep sofa downstairs was all uneven and not a good place to sleep. Overall, we enjoyed staying there and would recommend it.

Owner response:Thank you for the positive review and the much welcome feedback that will help us with the continuing improvement our unit. We installed new flush kits in all the toilets and fixed the shower drip at the end of summer. We also bought a new iron board and iron. We are planning on replace the sleeper sofa and love seat for new ones in next few weeks and give a fresh coat of paint to the living room and hall ways. We are looking forward for new improvements that will hopefully situate our unit on the 5/5 range in 2008.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property. Everything was just as advertised in the listing, and the convenience of having all the amenities of home made this an excellent value for us when compared to a hotel. I was concerned that the propery might have suffered some hurricane damage from last year's storms, but if there was any it had long since been repaired. The beaches are also in excellent shape, and the water was unbelievably clear. We left behind a pizza pan + cutter to make things easier for parents with pizza addicted children, and a toaster for those who might dislike using the toaster-oven. Antonio, Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed your townhouse. We had a great time even if we did have to leave a day early due to the hurricane. Hope there was no damage to your property. I started to call you to see if you wanted us to bring in the patio furniture, etc. but decided that the cleaning services would probably take care of things. The only thing that we wished we had at the house was wine glasses. Not only that, we couldn't find any in Destin or we would have stocked your kitchen with some. My husband and I have made several trips to the area. We used to bring our sailboat and camp at an RV Park in Navarre Beach but Florida doesn't seem to like tent campers, only RV's. We will definitely consider renting your property again. Thanks, Juli

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Asun, We enjoyed our stay in Destin at your condo. The color scheme and furnishing were lovely. The towels were nice and fluffy. Directions to the closest clinic or emergency room would have been helpful. (We had to make an emergency room trip while we were there.) The beach shop just next door was handy. All in all it was a fine place to stay while in Destin.

What a great location and a very spacious unit. The owners have updated this unit to make it very comfortable for their renters. You even have a gas grill. You are so close to shopping and great restaurants at this unit and you don't waste time running all over to get what you need. The beach is a very short walk and the pool is in the back yard...how much better does it get:))) See you again in the Spring!
