Northstar-at-Tahoe resort is truly a four-season destination playground, with lots to do any season. What’s new for the 2011 - 2012 season? $30 million in capital improvement projects are underway at Northstar Resort. New projects to be finished consist of the installation of a new high-speed chairlift and 2 new intermediate ski trails on the backside, construction of Zephyr Lodge - a 500 indoor seating restaurant with an open floor plan and spectacular views of the Pacific Crest as well as 200 outdoor deck seats on the mountain, and the creation of a 22’ half pipe that will be designed by Shaun White, a two time olympic gold medalist, snowboarding and skateboarding phenom. He is calling Northstar Resort his home mountain and primary training resort.

Relax in the dining room and enjoy a beautifully landscaped private sunny backyard and garden view with large open rear patio backing up to greenbelt. Beds include: master bedroom - king, bedroom 2 - king, bedroom 3 - queen, bedroom 4 - twin bunkbeds, & daybed with trundle. HOME SLEEPS 6 ADULTS AND 2 - 4 CHILDREN. ALL BEDROOMS HAVE CABLE TELEVISIONS. FREE High speed wireless internet is available in the home for Guests.
All homeowner’s amenities in Northstar Resort include 3 Outdoor Jacuzzis, Olympic kid's swimming pool with new play water features, a Heated Lap Pool (open year round), Tennis Courts (Tennis program is rated in top 25 tennis resorts nationally), Saunas & Showers, Game Room with video, billiards, air hocky & ping pong, updated Health Club, Fitness Center and reading room. The Village at Northstar just keeps getting Better! Tahoe's best apres-ski scene is at the Village at Northstar! There are fabulous shops, boutiques, art galleries, cracklin' fire pit gathering areas, a 9,000 sq. ft. outdoor ice and roller skating rink, conference center and many unique restaurants. There are dining and specialty food options at the Resort from take-out to fine dining. The village at Northstar continues to open new doors. Look for the patio bar on the Village Overlook above the skating rink to offer plenty of great people watching opportunities, while the cabana bars around the skating rink are still the top pick for relaxing after a day in the outdoors! A new parking lot behind the gas station at the entrance of Northstar Drive will better circulate traffic flow and improve access to the resort. There has been an expansion of the snowmaking system. Northstar has added to its famous tree skiing with 5 new guided trails. Northstar has relocated and expanded a 1,400 sqare-foot Cross-Country & Snowshoe Center featuring a sundeck and expanded teaching area.
Children's Ski School & Day Care Facilities are available. Equipment Rentals, season and day lockers, new and expanded free overnight ski check and basket check will be available in the Village Center.
Another shuttle bus, Truckee Trolley, will take you to an old west town, Truckee, filled with shopping and restaurants.
Close to Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows Ski areas. Drive ten minutes to Kings Beach at Lake Tahoe (more shopping and restaurants), ten minutes to Truckee, 15 minutes to gambling and entertainment at Nevada Stateline, and only 32 miles to shows and all activities the City of Reno provides.

We had a wonderful stay here. The house is comfortable and nicely decorated. There was plenty of room for our group (4 adults and 4 children). The kids loved the bunk bed and the yard was great for playing in the snow. We also loved the ease and convenience of the free shuttle bus. This was our first time to Northstar and we fell in love with it! Cute village, fun for families, great skiing, and we always looked forward to returning to the house at the end of the day. We can't wait to come back!

The house was great for our families to enjoy. Plenty of beds to sleep and a very nice cozy fireplace. Loved the shuttle service that took us straight to the sloped.

This is a fabulous house to relax and spend your vacation in; great layout if you have teens and you all want some space to yourselves. We were very grateful for the well supplied kitchen; this house had everything we wanted. We really felt as if this was someone's well loved home, rather than a rental, with all the comforts of home. If you stay in the winter as we did, the house in incredibly well insulated, making it very warm and cozy. Northstar is always a treat for us to take our family, the shuttle service to the village gives everyone their independence, and the resort has great staff and facilities. This was one of many vacations we have had in Northstar, this was one of our best vacation and in large part because the house was wonderful.

My husband & I celebrated our birthdays with our 2 adult children and their families - our 3 grandsons. It was spacious and perfect for all of us. The boys in particular enjoyed the bunk room! Everything we needed was there and the beds comfortable and very warm. The shuttle service to the village was timely and we rarely waited more than 5 minutes after calling for them. I highly recommend this home for a family get together. Looking forward to a future stay.

This is a wonderful vacation home for two families to share. The house was spacious and very comfortable. It was very well insulated, so although it was very cold outside, we were toasty inside. There were no drafts. The shuttle service is much appreciated. We hope to return again next year.
