My husband and I stayed for 4 days/3 nights over the New Year's Holiday with our 3 teenage sons. We had a GREAT time and the house was perfect for our large family of 5. The master bedroom offers a king-sized bed and there was clean, extra bedding/towels anytime we needed them. I would refer this house to my friends and family and I would stay there again without hesitation. Steve was so nice to work with and made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable.

We had an awesome experience with the property. It was our first Christmas together and the property owner made it a memorable experience for us. A tree was decorated and lights on the home made it a festive time. The home was very clean and nicely decorated and all the comforts of home was provided. We will definately be returning in the future.

We were two ladies who wanted to see Branson at Christmas time. We really enjoyed our stay at the log home. We each had our own bedroom and our own bath and plenty of room to relax and enjoy Branson. We were very close to Silver Dollar City and convenient to shopping as well. The property was very confortable, clean, and accommodating. Would recommend it!

Our stay in the Savannah was great! We had 4 adults and 4 kids and even the kids that had to sleep on a pallet on the floor had a great time. The home is warm and inviting with all of the amenities you would expect. A fully stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, a washer and dryer and a nice big deck to drink your coffee on.More importantly it was CLEAN! If we needed anything at all Steve brought it right away for us and was very accomodating. There was plenty of room for all of us and we are already planning on staying there again!

My husband, mother-in-law and I stayed at the Savannah for 6 nights in October. The cabin is nicely furnished and the kitchen is well appointed. The beds are very comfortable, and the neighborhood is quiet at night, although the school bus comes early and the childrens' voices might awaken a light sleeper. Indian Point is close enough to the attractions in Branson to be convenient, and yet far enough for rest and relaxation away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy strip. This rental is an excellent value.

This place was especially clean, free of bugs and very well kept. It was very nice and cozy. My husband and I needed a long weekend getaway, peace and quiet with no set plans of going to any shows, etc. Both of us thought we would have a cabin in a location that was more secluded so we were disappointed with that. It was close enough to walk a rocky trail down to the lake but we had no view of the lake itself. It was reasonably priced and very close to attractions. Would I recommend it to someone else, I would.

Our stay at this property was everything we hoped it would be. Very quiet neighborhood and wonderful location. The pictures are exactly how it looks and it was very clean and obviously well maintained. The only problem we had was with the garbage disposal, which was entirely MY fault (who knew you couldn't put potato peels in it?) but Steve came and fixed it the very next day and there were no further issues (thank goodness!) The kitchen was wonderful with everything handy and even had plenty of pots and pans to cook with, including baking dishes and an entire knife set. We used the Weber grill on the deck once and had no problems with that even though we're used to using a gas grill. We will definitely recommend this property to our friends who may be planning on coming to the area for a few days or even a week, like we did. It was just like coming home every evening after visiting Branson. We drove to Eureka Springs one day which was an easy drive from there. We hope to visit again sometime soon! Thanks, Steve, for the wonderful accommodations.

My kids and I stayed at the Savannah for our last "long weekend" before the school year. The house was really cozy and looked just like the pictures. Everything was very clean and the kitchen was more well stocked than I'd imagined(which made it easy to cook and save a little money on food). We were only about 5 minutes from Silver Dollar City and about 15 from the main strip, which was really nice. Thank you so much, Steve for sharing this lovely log home with my girls and I!

We stayed in the Savannah and COULD NOT of had a more enjoyable time! Very comfy, kept extremely cool with the 100 plus weather all week, spacious rooms all the way thru. Mom slept on the hideaway and said it was extremely comfortable. Quiet back patio for morning coffee and listening to the birds sing. Unfortunately, we got there two days late, because of a family condition, and Steve, the owner, was very kind and accomadating. Would absolutely recommend this cabin to EVERYONE!! My only request would be, please put bars in the shower for seniors and others with disabilities. :)

With the warmth of wood from ceiling to floor & in between - we also had ceiling fans & central air when the temperature warmed up. It kept it comfortable indeed both in looks and temperature wise. It was clean & the photos did reflect what we saw upon entering the cabin. The owner called later that afternoon to see that we made it OK & if we had any questions. I would recommended to anyone who wanted to get away & relax. It had a porch in back where we did some grilling as well as a sitting area in front. We were 10-15 minutes from Branson with a few choices for grocery stores in town. This was inspite of having the Walmart in town not completely open because of a tornando that went through about 3-4 weeks before we came down. There are places that sell discounted tickets to the shows & give advice according to your tastes. This was a pleasant & relaxing vacation & I have recommended it to some of our friends.

This spacious cabin was very clean and conveniently located between Silver Dollar City and the public beach and water access for Table Rock Lake. The owner personally called to ensure everything was to our satisfaction and to drop off fresh towels for our second day. We have stayed at other cabins on Indian Point, but they do not compare when you consider the space, cleanliness, and amenities like two full baths, washer/dryer, and well-stocked full-sized kitchen. We hope to go back later this year.

This place was great. Very nice 2 bedroom cabin, very clean and location was the best. Right down the road from Silver Dollar City, and only minutes from the strip. The view was nice, only a short walk from the banks of Table Rock Lake. Steve was very hospitable always looking after any need we had. Every morning we had fresh towels if needed and the trash was hauled away for us. My sister in law had forgot to pick up coffee and Steve was kind enough to go get her some. I will definitely make this my go to vacation spot. Thanks Steve!!!!!!!

We stayed at the Savannah May 9-13; the owner Steve was wonderful to deal with. He picked up any trash daily as needed and would exchange bath towels too; when the ice maker acted up, he promptly got a bag of ice and put it in the freezer for us. The king bed was comfortable, the large walk-in closet (with light) was great and the shower heads in both bathrooms were divine. Plenty of dishes/glassware/flatware as well as cookware and utensils. Paper towels, tp and dishwasher detergent were provided; there was also a dish drainer, dish soap and a scrubbie under the kitchen sink. Coffee maker and toaster are also in the kitchen for anyone wanting to make coffee or toast. Nice Weber kettle on the back deck; we grilled steaks one evening on it-you need to bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid. Table and chairs on the back deck and in front of the house so any guests can sit outside and watch the world go by. The sofa and chairs in the living room made watching the flat screen tv easy and comfortable. The central A/C kept the house nice and cool; the ceiling fans in the living room and dining room kept the air moving. The house telephone had free long distance which came in very handy since my cell phone (AT&T) had sporadic service. Plenty of brochures about Branson were in the living room table drawers along with a phone book. Very nice place to stay; if we come back to Branson again we would definitely stay here. For anyone going to Silver Dollar City, it's just minutes away; Branson is about a 10 minute drive and you pass the Shepard of the Hills theater along the way. Steve is an attentive property owner and it shows.

We rented the cabin for 5 nights from June 12 to the 17th. The cabin was clean and well supplied with towels. The AC works great and there was no stortage of hot water for showers and loved those big shower heads, going to buy some for myself. Steve was always asking if we need anything and resupplied our towels and picked up the trash every day. The internet work great after a little slow start. The cabin was quiet and cozy. When we arrived I went to pay Steve and he told me that he would catch up with me the next day sometime and I could pay by check or credit card. The only problem we had was the coffee pot. It was as slow as watching paint dry. 45 minutes to brew a pot, but we lived through it. I just made my wife make the coffee, cause I was on vacation!!! This was our second VRBO rental this year and we have had good experiences with both and we are looking forward next rental somewhere.

Owner response: Clyde and Brenda, Thank you for your business and taking time to write a review. Wish you had mentioned the coffee pot brewing slowly. Just read your review and we will have a new coffee pot in the home within the hour. The McGinness Family

He even let us use the washer and dryer next door after the previous renters had vacated. Trash pick-up and clean towels every day. Easy access to Silver Dollar City without having to go through Branson. And, the lake is just a short walk away.

Far enough to be away from the madness of Branson, but close enough to be on the strip in minutes. Will be back this summer!

Three of my friends and I stayed in the Savannah cabin from November 13-15, 2009. It was an absolutely wonderful experience! We got up every morning and could relax and talk with our coffee and bagels because there is plenty of room to spread out and relax. The deer showed up in the early morning hours - so peaceful and content. We brought food and our clothes and needed for nothing else. We knew that Steve was close and available but we didn't even actually get to meet him. We just spoke by phone. This cabin is clean, quiet, and serene; we will definitely go back to the Savannah again.

Just Got Back From Branson,Mo, spent one week relaxing on Indian Point at a place called Our Place ran by Steve & Ryan McGinniss. The place is called The Savannah. It is a log cabin, better than most of the hotels we have been in, all you need to bring is your food. If you want a real nice place to stay out from Branson and real close to Silver Dollar City, only about 8 or 9 miles from downtown Branson shows, contact Steve & Ryan McGinniss. If you like being out away from the hustle and bustle of town, The Savannah is the place to stay, look out the back door in the evening and early morning, see the deer, hear the birds sing and enjoy the peace and quiet. Steve is real close by and all you need do is give him a call if you need something. If we ever get back to Branson anytime soon we know who we will be calling. Thanks Steve & Ryan for the best 25th anniversary place to stay you could want , the place was fantastic and you could not want for anything, everything was just like you said, clean and furnished just like your home away from home. Thanks Steve for a wonderful stay at the Savannah Log Cabin at Indian Point. The cabin was very clean and the fresh towels everyday was a plus. Steve brought us fresh peaches and let us use the washer and dyer next door in his other cabin before the next quest arrived. It was nice to leave the crowded streets of Brason and go to a quiet cabin!!! Thank you.

My husband, family, and I stayed in the Savannah Log Cabin at Indian Point. I found this cabin to be very neat, clean, and well maintained. The host/owner lived across the street and was very available when we needed anything. At the end of our stay he brought us several fresh tomatoes. I would highly recommend this cabin because of its cleanliness and being so close to Silver Dollar Silver.

My sisters and I stayed at the Savannah for a week and were very pleased with everything about it. A nice restaurant is located down on the point and a general store up the road with sandwiches and pizza. The owner, Steve, always checked to see if there was anything we needed and brought clean towels, etc. every day. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you, Steve, for a great place to stay. We really enjoyed it. Diana, Nicky, Carla & Jane Illinois, Alabama and Massachusetts.

The cabin was extreemly nice for our family get together. We have been coming to Branson for about 10 years, and this is by far the best place we have stayed. Even with the hot water heater problems that we had, just made it seem more like home. We will definitly be coming back!

Owner response: The pop off release valve discharged and we replaced the hot water heater immediately.

The Savannah was a clean, comfortable place to come back to after the bustle of "the strip". It was close to the lake, SDC and the strip. The best part was waking up to deer in the back yard!! we will definitly be staying again. Steve made it a wonderful stay.

We enjoyed our stay in the Savannah. We are actually looking for property down around Table Rock, and this was a great out-of-the-way location. We didn't have to fight the traffic of 'The Strip'. All the amenities of home. And the owner was available and so nice! Location to Silver Dollar City is the biggest plus! NO TRAFFIC. Thanks for a great stay.

We have never taken the time to comment on any place we've stayed before. But everything was so perfect in the Savanah. To start with the owners requested we go the cabin and unwind and relax without the hassle of having to go through check-in process. The view of the lake off the back deck is panoramic in itself. But was even more with the deer we enjoyed watching over coffee the first morning out on the deck.Inside of the cabin is so relaxing and romantic and quiet you would think you were in the middle of the forest. The 2 minute drive to Silver Dollar City was EXTRA special without the hassle of all the heavy traffic and waiting. The owner was very helpful in directions and advise of local shows and attractions. Thanks for EVERTHING!

We stayed at The Savannah for 3 nights during the 2nd week in Oct. '07 and found it a great and relaxing visit. The cabin was great for what we were looking for. We loved the "log cabin" feel and the convenience and the hospitality. Thanks Steve.
