Surely Tower Bridge is the most famous bridge in the world? If you happen to be lucky enough to be located on the wonderful South Bank of the River Thames you will be within walking distance of the bridge itself, which takes its name from The Tower of London. It is one of the most iconic symbols of London, but that certainly is not the only reason that this area is so interesting, convenient and stuffed with history.

Tower Bridge is ideally located for access to the West End and the City. With Waterloo and London Bridge mainline stations at its service. The bus connections here are good, and you have the added delight of a regular river boat taking you to Greenwich, Canary Wharf or Westminster. Choose your mode of transport and sit back and soak up the atmosphere…

Butler’s Wharf offers a choice of restaurants and eateries, adding that proper, local feel that is so charming. The very famous Borough Food Market is a little further on down the river.
