This guest stayed with us for nearly 2 months... "I had the pleasure of staying for almost 8 weeks in this lovely apartment. For me it was both a base and a sanctuary as I took my first real holiday in 9 years. Although leaving for overseas on the day of my arrival, Barrie arranged for me to be met at 8am in the morning at the property. He even texted from the airport to ensure all had gone smoothly. I arrived to a kitchen stocked with fresh eggs, milk and a still warm loaf of rustic rye bread. What a joy after 24hours in transit. Barrie and his partner Beverley are warm and welcoming whilst discreet. Living in the adjacent premises, they are accessible should you have any queries, but you are left to enjoy the peace of this lovely centrally heated garden flat. Barrie asked permission twice during my stay to show the apartment to other potential clients and gave notice each time. If you are staying for more than a few days, the washer/dryer is very welcome. I also took advantage of the opportunity to make use of a second bedroom in the property when a friend from Australia came to stay for 12 days. This additional charge was definitely worth it to us for the convenience. There are two tube lines within easy walking distance and they will get you almost anywhere you want to go. Both Primrose Hill park and Hampstead Heath are also within walking distance and well worth the visit. Whether you are travelling alone, couple/s or a small family, I wholeheartedly recommend staying in this welcoming space in a gorgeous part of London." November 2013

Great place where staying in London.
Great place where staying in London.
We spent almost one week in this lovely place with my wife and two children. The flat is well-located, close to the main services, bus, tube line station and only few minutes from the amazing Primrose Park. The owner is charming people who were available for any kind of help and making our staying enjoyable. Overall, the flat is perfect and I would like to stay here again in the near future.

Loved this flat
Loved this flat
My husband and I stayed for a week and loved the experience. The flat is in walking distance of lots of good pubs and restaurants, shopping, and also the Jubilee tube line. The owners are charming people who sincerely wanted us to enjoy our stay and were helpful with questions. We would stay there again in a heartbeat should we return to London. The flat was perfect for us. We have already recommended it to others.

A lovely flat, wonderful hosts!
A lovely flat, wonderful hosts!
Two of us stayed in the flat for 9 days in May-June 2013, and we very much enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very responsive and friendly, and gave us excellent tips for local shopping and dining. p.s. there's a very good live theatre venue (the Hampstead Theatre) just a 5+ minute walk from the flat.

It's a quite and lovely neighborhood, close to some charming restaurants and shops and close to the tube. The flat was great, well equipped, and the owners (a lovely couple) checked to make sure we had everything we needed. The flat is in a great area of London, outside of the touristy parts of the city, but near the happening and active Hampstead Heath area. I would love to stay there again the next time I'm in London.

Second visitGuest comment entered by owner
First visit We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. A bright, light, clean, spacious and well appointed apartment of above average standard. Excellent wifi. Little extras eg eggs butter bread and milk supplied, big fluffy towels, good quality bedding and a very comfortable bed. Barrie and Beverley were most hospitable, and flexible re arrival and departure times. The location is in a very attractive quiet suburb, with good transport options. We are returning for another stay soon. May 2013 Pam Second visit This is our second stay here, and I hope it will be available when our friends will be in London later this year. Highly recommended for those who appreciate the little extras that thoughtful hosts provide.

This flat is a a little gem! The flat is nicely furnished and well appointed. The bathroom is great, and there is even a towel heater! The kitchen has terrific appliances, including a washer and dryer. The bed was very comfortable, and there is enough room to store your clothes. The best part of the flat is the access to the garden which is absolutely delightful. There are benches and chairs to sit on, and also a table and chairs if you want to eat your meals out there. Barrie and Bev are lovely, warm hosts and came down the first night to welcome us (after providing milk, eggs, bread and butter) with a bunch of new DVD's to add to the big collections they already have. The flat is very convenient to two tube stations, and a number of neighborhoods with coffee shops, restaurants and grocery and drug stores. We would definitely stay here again! Shula and Cyril

A review from a recent tenant from a different letting facility... "I look back on the month I spent in your house with joy and am already missing everything. If it would be possible to come back and stay in the flat later it would lift my spirits :-) I do not know what happens to me when I am in England, but I always feel more happy and relaxed than I do at home. Give my best to Beverley and wish her more happy Nordic Power walks! If you are looking for a quiet, yet central place to stay in London, this flat in Lancaster Grove, Belsize Park, Hampstead would be an excellent choice. The flat is on the lower ground floor of a very charming house on a leafy, quiet road in a residential area. And you are still close to Central London with easy access to sights and entertainment. There are 2 Tubes-stations, several bus-lines and good shops within a short walking distance. Hampstead and Primrose Hill are close by and are the perfect choices for walks and recreation. The flat itself is light, spacious, well equipped and has a lovely atmosphere. Two French doors lead out to a small terrace and a sheltered garden. Add to this welcoming and helpful landlords who really make you feel at home, and you have the answer to a great stay in private surroundings in busy London. I spent a happy month there and give it my best recommendations. Sidsel Norway" (Stayed from 14th March to 13th April 2013)
