This lovely beautifully furnished Condo is located on the prestigious Gerald Ford Corridor. Mountain View Villas is situated in a very low density complex. Lots of open space, greenbelts and views of our spectacular mountains. There are five sparkling pools and several spas, seven lighted tennis courts all located in this splendid gated community.
The interior hallway leads to a bright and spacious kitchen, living room and dining area with ceiling fan. The kitchen has all the modern appliances and has a full width breakfast bar for casual dining. The living area includes a wet bar waiting for you to bring your beverages of choice. Like the living area the master bedroom opens to a covered patio area with gas BBQ, chaise, table and chairs for dining outside. The master suite with king-size bed includes the bath w/tiled shower, double wardrobe closet, plenty of dresser drawer space and ceiling fan.
The second bedroom is tasteful decorated with two single beds with a view out to one of the many greenbelts. There is plenty of closet and dresser space, and a writing desk. The second bathroom is located off the main hallway with a full tiled bath with shower.
This perfectly located Condo is situated steps to the pools, lighted tennis courts, and club house.

Bring your own internet and by the way, bring rat traps

We rented this condo with a personal guarantee that there would be some type of internet service included. Wrong, no internet until day 11. On day 16 we came into the condo to find rat droppings throughout. We contaced the owner and the next day a handi man bring mice traps, Wrong? Finally 2 days later we had a visit from a pesticide person. He set 7 traps through out the condo. For 3 nights we did not sleep, hearing pest movement throughout the nights. We finally advised the owner we were leaving 12 days prior to our lease. He is not prepared to reimburse our unused portion of the lease. Worst experience of our lives
Owner response:These guests have lied and have been vulgar; their use of foul and offensive language was unacceptable. Internet has always been available to them. No mouse/ rat/rodent has been seen by the guest, exterminator or anyone. When the guests moved out on the 20th they took the house keys and mail box key and refused to return them. They demanded full payment after their 20 days. No rodents had been found, seems like an attempt to extort money. I’ve subscribed to VRBO since 2004. In all my years of rentals I have never received any complaints. I pay close attention to the smallest detail to make my guests stay as pleasant as possible. This attention to my guests has made guests return and on some occasions I have made friends. I have treated all my guests with respect and professionalism. I personally meet and greet every guest upon their arrival and show them the condo. This is a beautiful 2 bed 2 bath condo in gated Rancho Mirage community. 5 pools/spas, tennis, clubhouse on acres of greenbelts. Internet was provided on day one. Despite my and the Internet providers best efforts to walk the guest through they failed to understand. I even provided a 2nd Internet option. They have always had access to the Net. The guests moved in Jan 1 for a 1 mo. visit. After 17 days the guest called stating they left doors open and the guest let in a mouse. The guest said he left the doors open often. Within 2 hrs I had several traps placed in the condo. Less than 24 hrs from when the exterminator left the guest claimed it was now a rat. I asked him if they saw anything. He said, “No” They were screaming strings of expletives demanded all their money back, if I did not give in they are going to bad mouth the community, they were moving out. I reminded them I have been kind, professional to them always and not deserving of this treatment. I told them that I would not be a victim of this attempt to extort. No rodent of any kind has been seen by the guest, exterminator or anyone. Because the guest said they let a mouse in I had to hire an exterminator. If they are upset about a rodent, they admitted leaving the doors open and letting it in, they take the responsibility to take care of my condo. When the guests moved in, they complained about all their previous rentals. They said the last place they rented was dirty, the one before that, they had difficulty with that owner. Their actions seem to be a pattern. Warning Owners: beware of Gerald P. from Fairview Alberta Canada.
