  We loved the Lazy Rocker cabin in Hendersonville. The cabin was adorable and impeccably clean. I can't remember the last time I stayed somewhere that spotless. The layout is perfect for 1 couple and it's so private and romantic, even though the owner's house is on the same property. We really enjoyed walking around the orchards, meeting the horse and ponies, and just relaxing on the porch. The only down sides are that the TV is kind of small and hard to watch from the couch, and the internet connection is intermittent at best. However, when you're on vacation in the mountains, you don't need to be connected! It's best sit back and relax! I would come back here or recommend it to anyone in a minute.

  My husband and I stayed at the Lazy Rocker Cabin from October 8th through October 10th, 2011. It's a cute little cedar sided cabin just the right size for two people. The cabin had a queen sized bed, satellite T.V. and everything you need to be comfortable away from home. It is also dog friendly. We enjoyed the front porch. It had a great view of the woods and apple orchards. The porch was great for our dog because it had a pet gate attached. She could run around and not get out. It was her favorite place to sit and ours too! The owners have a fenced pasture that they allow their guests to use. Our dog was able to romp in the pasture without a leash as long as we were there to supervise her. We did not use the services but the owners also have a doggie day care and kennel. We loved the location because it was quiet and in the country but still very close to Hendersonville.

  My partner and I stayed for a week at the lazy rocker cabin and what a relaxing time we had there. We travel with our chihuahua and we find it difficult to find pet friendly properties that are well kept and feel we hit the jackpot with this cabin - it was clean, comfortable, well maintained and the setting was so serene. We traveled to Dupont Forest, Bat Cave/Lake Lure, Pisgah Forest, Brevard and we attended the Apple Fest in Hendersonville all were very close! It was great seeing all the sights and coming back to the cabin to sit on the large covered porch and relax. It rained several days we were here but that did not dampen our spirits at all - this cabin is roomy enough not to give one claustrophobia and with the glider on the covered porch it was relaxing just to sit back and listen to the rain. I would definitely recommend this cabin. The owners are wonderful people, very attentive without being intrusive, and we appreciate their hospitality.

  My husband and I spent a long weekend at the Lazy Rocker in the middle of October and had a great visit! The cabin is just the right size and had everything we needed. The property is beautiful and easy to find. It is just the right distance from town - close enough to everything we needed, but far enough out to feel like we were in the woods. The owners were very gracious and accommodating. We will definitely be back!

  We had a wonderful time. The apartment was extremely clean and neat, very well maintained. The dogs loved running in the 3 acre pasture. The apples were delicious. Beautiful views wonderful location. Quiet and peaceful. The owners were friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay there again. Looking forward to our next visit.

  What a wonderful place to relax and have fun with the dogs! The mountain views are gorgeous, Hendersonville is wonderful for artsy shopping and good food, and having a safe place to let the dogs run and play was terrific. The hardest part was packing up to go home. We'll be back!

  The apartment is large and beautifully maintained. They are very pet and people friendly. The surrounding area has beautiful hikes for dogs and people alike.
