The seclusion and luxury of Makena Surf allows us to relax and get away from the rush-rush of the world. Our unit is only feet from the ocean providing us with amazing ocean views, especially nice during whale watching season!
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Makena Surf is a wonderful get-away, yet close enough to fine dining, golf, tennis and right on the beach for us to enjoy all the activities we choose. It is in a great location for jogging/walking, which we do every morning. With the recent full remodel upgrade we can enjoy our time in paradise in first class luxury. (Not all Makena Surf units have been upgraded. Make sure to ask. It make a big difference!)

Our family has loved their visits to our condo on Maui. We originally bought the unit when my wife was pregnant with our youngest child, now 23. It has been a wonderful get away for us and we have tons of fabulous memories.

My husband and I keep coming back to Maui, the Makena Surf, and this unit. The remodelling has just made a great condo greater. The unit is spacious and comfortable, with a fully equipped kitchen. The location is as good as it gets -- on the top floor (third) looking straight out to sea. The whale watching from the lanai is superb. No binoculars needed. And the snorkeling is world-class, with easy access from a sandy beach and lots of fish, turtles, and coral once you're in the calm, clear water. We recommend this condo highly ; we can't imagine staying anywhere else on Maui.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We have stayed at another unit in Makena Surf, but this one was fabulous. Newly renovated with great colors and decor. Everything was there, including the sun lotions! We spent lots of time on the lanai, reading and loafing. The only black mark was that we got sick at the end of our week's stay. But we were telling each other, between coughs, that this was the best place ever to recouperate...resting and reading, just like we were doing every day anyway! I would definitely recommend this property.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We had a great time! The condo was beautiful and well maintained. It worked out just right for our family of four. We would love to visit again sometime.

OMG My family had an awesome time at this condo a couple of summers ago. The condo has everything you need. Once we stocked up at the grocery store, we spend so much time right out front of our condo snorkeling. Turtles, State fish, eels, an awesome reef just steps away. Our 10 year old daughter and niece played many hours on the beach. Big Beach is 2 miles away. We can hardly wait to return. I would recommend it to everyone. Peace
