  This place was extremely comfortable for our group of six adults, one kid, and two small dogs. It had everything we needed and more, down to a closet full of games and books to a fully stocked kitchen plus two huge soaking tubs for post ski relaxing. Even with all the people, I felt like I could slip away into my room to get some alone time. Plus, it's backed up to a golf course where we could easily walk our dogs on the path. I really couldn't think of one thing that could make it better. Super spacious & comfortable in every aspect! We will defi itely be returning next year!

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.

  We stayed here over the memorial day weekend! The town home was very clean, comfortable condition and very well stocked. We enjoyed a restful weekend, great biking trails and good company. The master suites are fabulous, the home is spacious and great for conversation and sharing meals.

  Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

The well equipped home and cozy atmosphere was most comfortable and relaxing. The location is perfect and close the many things to do. We LOVED the golf course and the girls so enjoyed the Spa at Widgi. We definitely want to return. Thank you so much. Beautiful Location!

  Entry as written in guest book at home: The Brown family from Eugene, Portland and CA gathered for their annual meeting and also celebrated an 80th birthday for one of the 10 siblings. Three families stayed here and many others from the area came for the big celebration. Many enjoyed golfing at Widgi Creek and a large group rafted the Deschutes. It was a very hot weekend in the high 90's. A good thunderstorm on the last night too! Enjoyed this house and location alot - we may have to try for a winter ski trip! If not, hope to be back for our 3rd year here next summer!

  Everyone in our group enjoyed our stay in your clean and well furnished home. Since we are all skiers the only addition would be a hot tub, but that probably does not make sense considering your rental times.

  Owner response: Thank you for the suggestion on the hot tub - it is an improvement and investment we hope to make in coming year.

  As written in guest book at home: We were all here from upstate New York for skiing and a wedding. We loved your vacation home so very much! I broke my leg before coming so I had to stay in most of the time and I was grateful for this place! Very homey. Also the seat in shower saved me for sure. Thanks again!

  Guest Comment Received for Feb, 2009 stay: There were plenty of movies and games. The beds were comfortable. The home was spacious and clean with high-grade linens and furnishings. I appreciate being able to bring my dog with us. Most pet friendly rentals are not as nice as yours. The location was great. I liked the trails and close commute to the mountain.

  Comment received via email from guest: We had a great time in your Widgi Creek house - in fact, I'd call it your "home." Everything was so well thought out, and there were so many unexpected amenities, we were delighted. Because our group ranged from 3 mos (twins and parents didn't stay, but spent a good deal of afternoon and early evening time with us) to 6 & 8 to 74, we cooked and ate at the house most of the time. It was great to have such a well-laid out and equipped kitchen. I've rented perhaps 15 - 20 houses over the years, and yours shared the top spot with only a couple others. Am almost disappointed that my daughter and her husband are in the process of adding bedrooms and family room to their house, so by Christmas, they'll have more space for guests. But if we need another big, wonderful house, we know where to go.

  We had a wonderful time! It was nice and spacious,well appointed,family friendly and nicely decorated. Your instructions and activity/dining suggestions were thorough and easy to understand. It was nice being in a well stocked kitchen and we had several great family meals.
