About the owner: We are two active People about ready to retire and travel. We would like to allow others to use our beautiful home and take advantage of our excellent location. Located in the heart of Paradise Valley, there is something close by to do in every direction.
Why the Owner Chose Paradise Valley:
Our townhouse is located just 30 minutes from the North entrance to Yellowstone National Park, in beautiful Paradise Valley. It is the park's oldest entrance, taking you through the town of Gardiner. Six miles past the North entrance, is the boiling river. Here, visitors can dip in the Gardiner River, where it blends perfectly with several thermal features, creating an outdoor hot tubbing adventure. I few miles more and you arrive at Mammoth Hot Springs, with incredible vistas and roaming Elk and Bison. Your Yellowstone adventure is about to begin! Paradise Valley is surrounded by the Bear Tooth and Absaroka Mountain ranges and thousands of acres of National Forest land. There are hundreds of miles of hiking trails and peaks to summit. The Yellowstone River also flows directly through Paradise Valley, creating a fly fisherman's paradise, where you can spend countless hours pursuing Cutthroat Trout, a species found no where else in the world. There are dozens of outfitters waiting to guide you down the river. The town of Livingston is just 24 miles north of our townhouse and is a true cowboy town. Here you can find a variety of unique stores and restaurants, that will keep you busy all day long. If a slightly larger venue is your idea of a good time, the college town of Bozeman is just 45 minutes away and offers everything larger metropolitan areas are noted for, from museums and restaurants, to some of the best art gallery shopping anywhere. Just 16 miles north of Bozeman is Bridger Bowl Ski Area, which offers some of the best skiing terrain anywhere. Cross-country skiing is also available just a quarter mile further up the road at Bohart Ranch. Your Adventure is about to begin!
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome:
We both worked in Yellowstone National Park as college students and have a unique knowledge of the area. Our son is a recent graduate of Montana State University, Bozeman and is a white water raft and kayak guide on the Yellowstone River, out of Gardiner. We all have extensive knowledge of the area and would be able to help you find many out of the way places most visitors never see.
