Mountain Paradise lies right on a beautiful creek that runs through the Nantahala Community. It is a trout fisherman's delight. You can sit on the deck and enjoy the view of the mountain stream and the crisp clean air! Mountain Paradise is about 45 minutes from Franklin, North Carolina and 40 minutes from Cherokee, North Carolina where you can learn the heritage of the Cherokee Indians or just have some fun at Harrah's Casino.
It is approximately 90 minutes from Asheville, North Carolina where the elegant Biltmore House is located. Pigeon Forge, Tennessee is also 90 minutes away, while there you can enjoy a day at The Dollywood Theme Park, Dolly's Splash Country or take in a show at the Dixie Stampede.
The creek that runs through the property is full of native rainbow trout that are delicious to eat. We are also ten minutes from the famous Nantahala River where a million people come each year to raft with their families and the exquisite Lake Nantahala is only one mile away from the cabin. Pontoon Boat Rentals are available if you decide to lay back and just soak up some sun. Macon County has 15 different trails for hiking, from short to long trips, depending on your preference.
The famous Appalachian Trial, that runs from Georgia to Maine is located at the top of Wayah Crest, only 20 minutes away from the cabin. The beautiful Wayah Bald is also located there with an elavation of more that 5500 ft. It shows you a magnificence panaromic view of 4 different states. It is truly something to see.
We have put a lot of love into restoring this 100 year old cabin. I feel that you will have a wonderful time enjoying all that the mountains have to offer you and your family. It is a very peaceful retreat for anyone and I am sure that you would enjoy your stay at Mountain Paradise Cabin!

$800.00 wkly $100.00 Non-Refundable Deposit for renters with a pet.
* There is a Security Deposit of $100.00 & a Cleaning Fee of $75.00 that is Due
