NEW LISTING: Welcome to 3ONE8; a newly remodeled, private home retreat in Manzanita, Oregon.
3ONE8 is the perfect escape for couples and small families who enjoy high end furnishings in a casual and modern setting. Interior amenities include hand scraped acacia hardwood flooring, new kitchen appliances, Ceasarstone counters, Ann Sacks tiled bathroom with walk in shower and heated marble flooring, Grohe plumbing fixtures throughout, DISH TV, Wi-Fi, all new furniture and high end finishings throughout. It's hard to find a vacation rental in Manzanita, or on the coast for that matter, that isn't dark, dated or decorated by your grandma.
The interior layout is open while still intimate. Two bedrooms feature brand new queen size beds. Master has LED flat screen with built in DVD player and DISH network. 2nd bedroom also boasts new queen size bed and both bedrooms feature new wool carpeting. Main living area is dynamite and has terrific flow - it's one big great room with great light and views to the golf course in the back yard. Another TV/DVD is in living area with DISH. You also have your own backyard complete with private patio, dining area, fire pit and golf course views.
My favorite part of staying at 3ONE8? Sipping fresh coffee on the back patio in the morning and watching the birds and squirrels play in the pine trees and watching the golfer's terrible tee shots into the 6th green. Relax and refresh in Manzanita.
Pet Policy: We welcome dogs at 3ONE8. We have a special space in the kitchen for their bowls. As we wish to continue to allow canines to visit, please no barkers, biters or otherwise un-socialized animals. For pets over 20 pounds, the rate with a pet is $15.00 per pet above the nightly room charge plus a nonrefundable $15.00 cleaning fee. For stays longer than three nights the total pet fee is negotiable. We do not welcome any unregistered visiting pets at 3ONE8, nor tied up outside anywhere on the property. This includes those pets of friends who might visit you during your stay. All visiting pets must be approved and registered prior to arrival without exception. Cancellations: Cancellations made 60 days prior to the reserved arrival date are subject to a $50 processing fee. Cancellations made between 60 to 30 days prior to reserved arrival date are subject to half the cost of the rental fee. Cancellations made after 30 days of reserved arrival date are subject to the ENTIRE COST of the rental fee. That loss will be determined by the opportunity to re-rent the home for your reserved dates. No refunds for a shortened day.
Unlike hotels or resorts, we do not overbook in anticipation of cancellations. 3ONE8 is reserved for you alone, from the time you book your stay. As such, cancellations on short notice make it extremely difficult to rebook vacancies. For this reason, once within the cancellation period, we are unable to accommodate cancellations, change of dates or shortening of your stay without forfeit of your room charges. If this is a concern for you, we highly recommend that you consider travel insurance, which is widely available and will compensate you in the event that unforeseen circumstances disrupt your plans.

About the owner: These are my kids; Henry and Marbella. I'm a Portland based professional who first came to Manzanita in 1994. We checked out a lot of Oregon coast towns and immediatley came back to the village of Manzanita. It's the perfect size and when an opportunity presented itself to invest in a vacation rental in Manzanita - we jumped at the chance. After an extensive remodel, we're ready to share 3ONE8 with people that like high end finishes, modern ammenaties and casual suroundings.
Why the Owner Chose Manzanita: The vision of the 3ONE8 remodel was to create a hip and fresh place for our family, friends and rental guests to enjoy in our favorite coastal town, Manzanita. We've stayed at probably 20 different short term Manzanita rentals in 'the pool' over the years. It's a crap shoot out there. And it's hard to find either brand new structures or remodels. And how did the remodels turn out and what kind of furnishings are you experiencing? I love my grandmas but I wouldn't put them in charge of decorating my vacation home - and that's what I see in a lot of the rental choices out there today.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage: 3ONE8 is great as it's 1.5 blocks to Laneda Avenue (the main strip) with plenty of shops, coffee houses, restaurants, bars, grocery stores and more. And it's a straight shot to the beach. Additionally, the views out the back onto the 6th green at Manzanita Golf Course are beautiful and very private. There are no neighbors behind you and the private back yard is a great retreat. The property is one half of a duplex and your side is very private. And for the kids it's a few minutes walk to the City Park. And, S 4th Place is very quiet with little car traffic. Close in yet removed. It's perfect!
