Three porches, parking under the house, and additional guest parking by the 18'x 42' shared pool add to the homey comfort and convenience. We have ample room for socializing and relaxation. A small BBQ grill is located adjacent to the concrete drive & now one under the house for your use OUT from under the house.
We are in the "Beach on 9th" complex of seven homes on 9th Ave.South...nine blocks South of Surfside Pier, in Surfside Beach, SC. Our house stands alone to the right of the pool. We are located 150-160 yards from the ocean across a small road. This family vacation home is 20 minutes from major attractions including Broadway at the Beach, shopping, golf, restaurants, and sport fishing fleet at Murrells Inlet.
Also, one half mile to the library with free Internet & computer access (when you join the library - also free to you), lighted tennis, and basketball courts along with the fishing pier, several new restaurants & icecream/pizza shop. A baseball field & fishing pond are up the street a short distance, with Bocci Ball courts & picnic tables in this neighborhood park area.
Surfside Beach is a family beach and less crowded than Myrtle Beach, just seven miles north. The beach is wide and flat with Life Guards during the Summer season. You may rent chairs and umbrellas from them for your stay. Spring begins in mid-March with the Canadian-American Day Festival.Spring Flowers appear which usually lasts until late April with special garden tours and festivals. Mid to late May is the Biker's time and the weather is glorious usually. We enjoy this time of year at the beach and feel you will too.
Fall is mild with lower humidity making it a good time for golf & shopping. The new Coastal Grand Mall is open which is located 7 Miles North at Hwy 17 By-pass & Hwy 501, adjacent to the airport. Murrell's Inlet is close by for great seafood and you could visit a different restaurant for every meal and not duplicate any sites.
A 24-hr Bi-Lo grocery with normal-low prices for all groceries and needs is a straight shot from our house with no heavy traffic area. In fact if you hate traffic, you have many restaurants & shops to use without leaving the area between Business 17 and the ocean...all around the beach house.
We do all our renting and dealing with clients who have become friends through years of renting with us. We provide all we would want to find in a rental property. We rent our home based on the "Golden Rule" and ask you to leave the house in the same condition you found it so that the next family may also enjoy their time at the "Bitter End". |
