  "Carlo, Thank you so much for your friendly hospitality. The apartment is perfect, very clean and well stocked, plenty of room for my family. Thank you for showing us the Palazzo and letting my son sing in the Salone, where the Operas are held. Verona is a charming, friendly city and easy to walk to all the “major” sites. Every where you go there is something enchanting to see even if not at the “major” attractions. We loved Osteria al Duca and we found a wonderful restaurant away from Piazza Bra near a Prada store(?) called Locanda della Seconda Balena (there was a red carpet on the street it is on). Going to Castle San Pietro for the views is worth the hike! We would highly recommend your apartments to someone staying in Verona. Perfect location, close to the main area but not right on top of it and makes your feel like you are in the ancient Palazzo salone even if well stocked + modern fixtures in w.c.. The character is authentic. The second apartment was up a very tiny elevator, very secure entry, there were stairs down the back into the courtyard, but you had to use the tiny elevator to get into the apartment. My son and his girlfriend stayed in the apartment. It was not as bright as the other apartment as the rooms were smaller and there were less windows, but they said it was comfortable and spacious. Could have easily slept 2 more in the living room area which was separated by a hallway from the bedroom and also a doorway to each room. Would allow for 4 people to sleep more privately.   The apartment exceeded all of our expectations and was the perfect place to stay. A sublime base to soak in Verona and all of its delights. We lived the Dolce Vita for our week long stay. Carlo could not have been a better or nicer or more considerate host; a true "Gentleman" in every sense of the word. The acid test for any accommodation is "would you return?": without hesitation and without reservation, we'll be back. It ticks all the boxes and is fully equipped. We came to celebrate our Mother's 75th Birthday. She's disabled but the apartment suited our needs wonderfully well because it's on the ground floor with its own access to the street. She loved, we loved it. Old Town Verona is a beautiful, beautiful, beautiful place to visit. It is small but perfectly formed and a big plus for anyone visting is that there is an enormous amout to do but within a very self-contained area. Therefore, all the sights are within walking distance if you choose this apartment to stay in. Slightly further afield, Venice is a great day trip in one direction and Lake Garda a great day trip in the opposite direction. I also visited Mantova for a morning. Doing these trips means that I still have plenty to see and do in Verona the next time that I visit. We feel very, very, very fortunate to have stumbled upon Antica Verona 2; an absolute gem of an apartment. Bella, bella, bella!

  We spent a wonderful week in Verona and this apartment proved to be the perfect base from which to enjoy the city and surrounding environs. It met and exceeded our expectations in every way, was conveniently located close to everything we wanted to see in beautiful Verona, had a nearby grocery as well as fabulous restaurants and was a short walk to bus and to the train station. We side-tripped from Verona to Venice, Padua and Bolzano, all easy daytrips. Carlo was a magnificant host - a highlight of our stay was his tour of the rest of the palace. Highly recommended and a good value.

  A week in beautiful Verona made even better by the friendly and helpful owner of this charming property. We found the apartment very clean, spacious and warm. The number of extras made our stay very comfortable and easy. There was a considerable amount of condiments, paper towelling, serviettes which all made life easy along with collection of travel brochures and suggestions for eating places. The apartment is in an excellent position, a quiet street yet close to all the main sites. We loved the little deli with its personal service, close by. The proximity of the greengrocer, patisserie and wine bar all made self catering a pleasure. There is very much to explore in Verona. We loved all of the archaeological sites, the lovely piazzas, the vibrancy of the place and ease of getting around. In all, a very friendly, relaxed city. We felt we had made a friend in Carlo and were sad to say good-bye. We would certainly recommend this property.

  Nice place, beautifully decorated by the owner Carlo. Perfectly located, could not be more central. We went there with our young son and the fact that he had his own room made our stay so much more pleasant than if we were at the hotel. Also kitchen, washing machine, bathroom and other facilities were great. And Verona is a beautiful city, I recommend the place. Thanks Carlo.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, tourists without a car, families with young children, age 55+.

  This apartment was everything we were looking for. It's in the beautiful historic Camozzini Palace - a real hidden gem on a quiet street but very close to all Verona's attractions. It had so much character and I'm really pleased we chose this apartment instead of a hotel.The apartment had everything we needed and Carlo is very helpful. We had everything we needed and were very comfortable. Verona is wonderful too - not too big but plenty to see, with the added bonus of Lake Garda were we had a wonderful trip by bus which we caught from around the corner from the Tourist Information Centre at the Arena. We went on the cable car at Malcasine and had a trip on the boat back to Garda and then a bus back to Verona. Our visit to the Opera was an experience to be remembered for a long time. We would thoroughly recommend this Apartment and Verona and have passed on the details to several friends already! We loved it!

  Recommended for: People with disabilities, sightseeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, age 55+.

  Antica Verona ist eine gute Adresse für einen Aufenthalt mitten in der Stadt. Sauber, gepflegt und geräumig und alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten inclusive Arena nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Auch eine große Auswahl empfehlenswerter Restaurants mit gutem Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist fußläufig erreichbar, z. B. Osteria del Bugiardo, Ristorante Greppia oder La Taverna di Via Stella. Für ein großes Besichtigungsprogramm lohnt der Kauf der Verona- Card, da einzelne Eintritte doch relativ teuer sind. Die Kommunikation mit Carlo war ab dem Zeitpunkt der Buchung über die Ankunft bis zur Abreise bestens. Danke, Carlo, wir werden Antica Verona gerne weiter empfehlen.
