This immaculate home is located on the canal and is the perfect haven for golfers who want to be near the action. Additionally, our boat dock offers you a place to park your boat and or Jet Ski. Hop in the boat and go left out of the canal and there is the Ocean or go right to the Marshes and Marina. Give your family the opportunity to expand your Fripp experience and enjoy the water and wildlife.
Catch a crab or lunch off our private multi-tiered dock or just sit back and enjoy the sunset. Children love shrimping with a cast net or fishing for the family dinner. There are four large porches on this home, two with screens to enjoy the scenery any time - day or night.
This four bedroom home includes a bedroom (queen-size) on the main floor with a full bath which includes a tall ADA toilet and a three foot door for access to the bath to make vacation for older guest more enjoyable. An open kitchen complete with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, all the cooking necessities, and more... is open to the dining area and great room.
This spacious plan allows everyone in the family or group to enjoy the conversation without feeling left out by featuring both a great room and a den. A large screen TV with DVD/VCR/CD ROM and Stereo are over the "instant on" fireplace in the great room along with a large sectional sofa, and a game table with chairs perfect for a puzzle or a marathon game of chess.
A large screened back porch has both a picnic table with benches and two rockers and a rocking double settee for conversation and good times. There is also a large den on the main floor complete with TV/VCR, desk, WIRELESS T-1 access and a queen sleep sofa bed. This second sitting area is perfect for families or groups to have separate conversation areas or competing TV and movie interests.
Upstairs are three bedrooms and two baths and ALL bedrooms have their own access to a porch! There is bedroom with two bunkbeds (four total twin beds), TV, and VCR; perfect for children and teens. A guest room with queen-size bed, TV, VCR, and rocker for relaxing. The large master bedroom retreat and bath measures the length of the home!
This master retreat includes a king-size bed, sitting area with table and chair. The room also includes a desk with internet access for the workaholic who just cannot stop even at the beach, and bath with his and her vanities, a jetted tub, large shower, and private water closet. A upper back-side screen porch with recliners makes the perfect place to talk, listen to the ocean, and relax before bed.
An outside shower makes it convenient to rinse off returning from the beach. A large garage allows covered parking during your stay. Additionally, our driveway allows plenty of parking to accommodate larger groups or guests during your stay.
This home is located on a 3000 acre, gated island which is known nation-wide for its scenic beauty, friendly wildlife (deer, alligators, birds and more), and three and a half miles of uncrowded beaches. The pace on Fripp is "golf cart" speed which relaxes even the most stressed executive.
The island has two designer golf courses-Ocean Creek, designed by Davis Love, III - which our cottage fronts and Ocean Point, designed by George W. Cobb. Golf instruction is available for both adults and kids as young as four years of age.

Hello..........I am Joan Barnes. My husband Dave and I own this great home on Fripp Island that backs up to the Tidal Creek Canal which leads directly to the ocean. We use the dock to fish and crab and sit outside a night with a great glass of wine and watch the stars. We invite you to bring your boat or jet ski and explore the marshes. Nothing is easier than to jump right in the boat and take off for a afternoon ride without having to go back and forth to the marina.

We just left Fripp Island, after staying for a wonderful week of family fun at the beach. The beach house was absolutely breathtaking, with every detail meticulously thought out, making our stay very comfortable for the entire family. We enjoyed cooking dinners in the spacious kitchen, playing board games in the family room, crabbing down by the dock, or just relaxing in the various well appointed rooms and porches of the house. The island has so many wonderful things to do and places to explore, such as pools, sand bars, play grounds, bike paths, and of course world class beaches and restaurants. We can't wait to go back again very soon.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with young children.

Just got back from a week vacation on Fripp and stayed in this wonderful house. The information provided in the details and pictures is ALL TRUE! The house is beautiful and very comfortable. The owner made sure the house has everything you need to enjoy your stay on this paradise island! The owner was very helpful and provided additional information to make our stay on Fripp as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
