My wife, mother-in-law and I just completed our week before Christmas stay at the Pugliano's 9th floor condo. The views of the ocean from the master bedroom's floor to ceiling windows were spectacular. The 2 bedrooms each had very comfortable king size beds. If you choose to cook, (we didn't...we were on vacation!) the kitchen has everything you would need. The pool, beach and tiki bar provide everything you would need without renting a car. Restaurants, groceries from Winn Dixie across the street, a CVS and shopping at the pier are all an easy walk. We will definitely be calling Diane for another stay in the near future. I think we've found a new Christmas tradition!

My husband and I recently returned from an amazing vacation in the Pugliano’s beachfront condo (listing #47165 on vrbo.com). We stayed in September 2011 and had a FANTASTIC time! We had been to the Ocean Manor twice before but it had been 10 years since our last stay. Reading the bad reviews on the Tripadvisor website made us think twice before booking a room. We knew that booking directly through an owner was the only way to go and after looking at the advertisements on vrbo.com and homeaway.com and speaking directly with more than one owner, we decided to give The Ocean Manor another try and we are SO GLAD we did! This is a relaxing, laid-back hotel with the best Tiki Bar on the beach, a clean and non-crowded pool and an excellent poolside grill. They also have a more upscale indoor restaurant but we never made it to that one. The food from the outdoor grill is great and we HIGHLY recommend the Meatball and Ricotta Cheese pizza; in fact we had several while we were there! And don’t miss out on the grouper sandwich or the pancakes because they were great too! During this trip, we stayed in 2 different units and making the move to the Pugliano’s oceanfront unit was well worth packing up and moving again! Working with Diane was easy and we even had the opportunity to spend an afternoon at the Tiki Bar with her and her husband John while we were there – very nice people. More importantly, I cannot say enough about how NICE, CLEAN, SPACIOUS and COMFORTABLE their condo was. The views are absolutely stunning and their unit has all of the comforts necessary to make you feel like you are staying in your own home; only with much better views and the convenience of a beachfront hotel! There was nothing better than waking up and looking out at the ocean and beach while lying in bed! In talking with other people while we were there, we were told that The Ocean Manor Resort has made many improvements over the last 10 years. For us, it was just the perfect place to stay and we really did have a wonderful time. The Pier is within walking distance of this hotel, in fact it makes a great beach walk, and has plenty of souvenir shops and restaurants. Don’t listen to the naysayers on tripadvisor.com! Book with an owner you can trust and you will be glad you did. We can't wait to come back!!!

Amazing condo

Frst off I want to say how easy it was to work with the owner of the condo, getting evervthing set up, informaton on the condo and buinding, and area. I was somewhat skepitial about rnting a place that I have not seen and doing eerything ovrt the internet. I sepnt countless hours looking at places in lauderdale untill I found what looked to be a good place. still not sure what to expect when I arrived to to the condo, I was amazed of the vew's from all roms, the masber is full view of the ocan, the second room with balocny is view of pool and ocean and when there is a full moon the amazing light shining off the water, the furnishings, and the cleanlines of the condo, the owner did a great job furnishing and remodleing the condo, 2 comfortable king size beds. usually when I am away from my bed I can ot wait to get back home to my bed, it was not the case at this condo, the beds were comfortable, and provided an excelent night sleep. the kitchen was well supplied with everyting you need to cook any meal, pleanty of towles, linnens. you have all the convience of stayng at a hotel, such as resturants Toyoko Blue**** the tiki hut on the beach, poolside***. no need to bring umbrlla or chairs, towels to the beach you can rent them for the day. for those that like late nights there are always parties at toyoko blue and the tiki hut on the bech. Ft, lauderdale has some amazing hidden restarunts in the area, also the hotel provides a car service if you want to go out and not have to drive. we went to south beach for dinner, and the ride was $90 each way in a prvate car. My falily and friends are planning on making a standing reservation for this condo 2x per year. who are we ? 2 early 40's professionlas from NYC with a 4yr old toddler, and the our best friends that came from Brazil that are also business owners and earlly 40' also with a 4 yr old toddler. I would reccoment keeping windows closed and balcony door closed with young ones.

October vacation with four people

The pictures are accurate on the condo. The pool area looks a little different from the photo (there are no trelis features around the edge of the pool-minor) This condo was perfectly clean. The location of the condo is definitely the best. It is in the corner facing both the ocean and the pool. With the corner windows (windows on two walls that meet at the corner) you can see EVERYTHING! The sun rises directly out front of the living room window. You can even see it from the balcony to the left. The property was maintained daily, trash taken, beach sweepers, pool cleaned, chairs straightened, lobby clean. The valet parking was awesome. $15 for the entire week and we had to wait 60 seconds or less to get the car. The owner gave us tons of ideas and place suggestions as to where to go. You can walk to the store, Dunkin Donuts, WINGS suveniors, &McDonalds easily (across street or down one block) The pier is about a mile and a long walk but a nice one. You can rent jet skiis right next door for $100 an hour (typical price), however, I found a better deal in Miami- a 40 minute drive but well worth it. At TropicalSailing.com you can go from 10am -3pm and sail boat out, jet ski, parasail, water trampolene, snorkel, swim, and cruise with a great crew on The Carribbean Spirt 78 foot catamaran for $139. You are well supplied with towels, blankets and pillows but will need to wash them if you use them. You need to bring paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, and cleaning supplies. As a clean person, I would have liked to see more cleaning supplies. We bought some and left them under the sink for the next people. We also left laundry soap and dishwasher soap that we needed to buy. Our bags were already at the airline weight limits so we couldnt take them home. Aruba Restaurant has amazingly large portions of great food and atmosphere. This is located at the pier. If I had to complain about anything it would only be the lock on the door. The hide a key was difficult to open with the line up code. The lock was easy to lock but difficult to unlock sometimes. You have to pull the door a bit as you turn. I would definitely recommend this condo to anyone looking to spend time at Ocean Manor. I have gorgeous photos and will be offering use of them to Diane if she wants to add any to her page or share with others via email. Words cannot describe how nice this place is (interior condo and location) so I will leave it to photos. Thanks Diane!
