Look out over the lake and enjoy your dinner as you watch the boats come into the marina.
The reason this unit is so great is the location to the beach, the pools and the gym. 1 flight of stairs directly to the pier, the proximity to the indoor pool and gym is just down the hall, no elevator!! And the outdoor pool and tennis courts are only one flight of stairs up from your suite, you can take the elevator, but honestly with kids, who wants to wait!
The parking spot for your car is on the same level as the suite, so there is no need for elevator waits. Your bike can stay right by your car and then you can ride right out the ramp to the pathways or bird sanctuary.
The great thing about this area of town is that you can ride or walk everywhere you need to go, including restaurants and shops. We love coming here to relax and enjoy the warm evenings walking to get an ice cream or biking over the the grocery store. THe beach is really quiet usually, unless there is a festival on, in which case you are closer to the action and free entertainment.
We have also been impressed with the quality of people in this building. A good mix of families and couples either renting or living here permanently. This is not a loud rowdy building...there are lots of kids at the pool, and really nice people to meet as you spend your week here.
We always look forward to our return there in the summer, from the hectic life of Calgary. We think you will enjoy your stay here too! |
