During the month of March I rented this condo primarily for 5. It is a spacious condo and afforded plenty of room in the bedrooms and in the common areas. The location, between both bridges, is outstanding and enabled us to navigate during the heavy traffic month of March. The furnishings are adequate and the beds are above average in comfort. I did not realize that 2 bedrooms, sleeps 6, would mean a daybed or a sleeper sofa so we found it necessary to move the trundel into the master bedroom to afford adult privacy. The only disappointment is the front screen porch which does not give a view of the ocean or provide a good circulation of air. This is offset by the roof deck that gives great ocean and island views. While not really on the beach, it is very easy to access and the pool is excellent. All in all, this condo is a great vacation spot and easy to recommend, which I have already done.

Great Location, Beautiful Sunsets

The property was exactly as described. Clean, quiet, steps away from the beach, close to restaurants, grocery store, pharmacy, and free trolley for traveling up and down the island. The sunsets from the roof deck were awesome. Also enjoyed hanging out in the heated pool. It was a great location to do nothing or to do everything. We visited theThe Rod and Reel Pier and the City Pier. We walked to Peaches Restaurant amost every day for great breakfast, had great thin crust pizza at Solo's, and enjoyed the seafood and atmosphere at the Starfish Restaurant. There were so many other things to see and do, just not enough time to do them. Thanks to Ira for his recommendations and sincerity in wanting us to have a great time and a great vacation. We had both. We plan to return to Anna Maria again in the future and hope to stay again at Ira's.

I highly recommend this condo for anyone who wants to spend time on the beautiful island of Anna Maria. The listing is what you get and more, What amazing sunsets you can view from the roof top deck. Its location is great, close to Publix and CVS, and almost all the best places to eat . The condo is better than what is depicted in the photos. You have more than enough kitchen supples and the washer and dryer is located where you are not bothered by their noise. This condo is very clean and the owner is great with whom to work. Any problems are quickly addressed by a person that lives close to the property.

The condo was just as advertised, clean and well equipped. Loved having 2 lanai's, one for morning coffee, and one for the evening to relax on...A BIG plus was having a washer and dryer right in the unit. Location was great...just as advertised. Just a short distance from the beach, and close to shopping as well. Loved the free trolley. Went one direction one day, and the other direction the next.

this is the best beach in florida in my opinion. the condo is a perfect location. the service is excellent too. i locked myself out and someone was there in 5 minutes to get me back in on a saturday night. the roof deck is awesome to watch rainbows and sunsets. i love the mountain bikes. there was dolphins in waist deep water at the anna city pier. cant wait to get back. thanks Ira....Justin

We spent a week in mid-April with 5 adults (mom, dad, and 3 grown kids). Proximity to beach and shopping were fantastic. Condo is comfortable and well-equipped. Beach and sunset views from rooftop deck are beautiful. Owner and local maintenance people are very helpful and accomodating. We all agreed we could easily have done another week.

I love this condo and its amazing roof top deck. Proximity to wide sandy beach and nearby beach cafe is great. We often spend the day playing on the beach then walk lazily to the cafe for a yummy lunch. If we havent already enjoyed the all you can eat pancake breakfast. Lots to do in the area, we explored Bradenton museums and paddled with alligators. You can bike everywhere-great nearby nature preserve you can bike to and enjoy. Ability to walk to groceries and anything you might need is also a huge plus.

Life's a Beach

The condo is very spacious with all the amenities, washer and dryer and full kitchen. 5 or 6 people don't feel crowded at all. The Gulf view for great sunsets is on the roof, 1 flight up and the beach is just a very short walk away. Publix grocery store and Walgreen's drug store are also within walking distance. Financial details are handled professionally with reasonable pricing. We have stayed there twice now. Car parking is under the the 4 unit condo where bikes are in a closet. Restaurant at the north end of the island on the pier is recommended. Free island shuttle bus.

Anna Maria Island is everything you could ask for in a beach/island vacation! The condo was ideally situated on the island and is very large, roomy and comfortabe. It has all you need to enjoy your time on the island, easy and close beach access, pool, and things to use while at the beach or pool, such as toys for the kids, umbrella, beach chairs, etc. There are even bikes to use to make getting around the island more fun. The rooftop deck is the best spot to be to watch the most gorgeous sunsets!! This condo is definitely everything we wanted and we have stayed there on two seperate occasions now and would definitely stay there again in the future. Not our last visit to Anna Maria Island for sure!

The minute I walked in the condo, I absolutely loved it. Lost of natural light, spacious rooms, the kitchen was well equipped, perfect conditions for a great stay. The walk to the beach is only a few steps away. The water was clear and beautiful, and even saw dolphins on two separate days. On the weekend, the beach did not get crowded at all, so it was a perfect location to relax and get away, absolutely gorgeous. I live in Florida about an hour away from the beaches so I have plenty of choices on were to stay and I will definitely return to this condo. Also, the owner Ira, was great to deal with and was very prompt in responding to my e-mails/phone calls. I would definitely recommend this condo to friends and family. Amy

We had a wonderful time at Anna Maria Island. The condo was very clean and well-maintained. The pool, beach toys and bikes at the condo were great to have. The pictures and description given was very accurate for the rental. Ira was very easy to work with. He was always willing to help answer any questions that we had regarding the property. The air conditioner did quit working one day and maintenance came on the same day and had it fixed very shortly. The condo was very convenient to the beach, just a short walk, and all attractions and shops were close by that we needed. We enjoyed eating at cortez kitchen and the beachhouse. My family went parasailing and totally enjoyed this. The area is very friendly, uncrowded, and absolutely beautiful. We would love to return here. We would recommend it to all ages. I have a 7yr old, 12 yr old and 15 yr old and they all loved the condo and the area.

Ira, the property owner presents every guest with location information and plenty of insight on how to make your stay better. I was raised in Bradenton, Sarasota, and Anna Maria Island until I was eighteen. When I return home to see my family I do not even shop or surf the Web, I go straight to this site to check the calendar. You can expect the same standards, customer service and constant quality each and every year you come here, as I have for the past three years. Enjoy your stay, if you get lucky you may even see the new baby turtles make there way to the beach for the first time. Take it from a local that has lived here, from small town docks and piers for fishing, renting boats, shelling, fine dining, to wet swim suits permitted at burgers places, sunset cruises, charter fishing, or even parasailing; you do not get this much value for your dollar in any other place besides the hidden gym of Florida called Anna Maria Island.

We were very pleased with the condo. Exactly as promised. Really enjoyed the fact that parking was sheltered --unloaded luggage and groceries in a driving rain storm and stayed dry. Wonderful location as all have attested to..actually found that access on and off AMI was better via Cortez..lots of big box stores like Walmart and Olive Garden towards HWY 41 should the need arise. Condo was immaculate and beds were very comfy. This was our first VRBO experience. Ira was very efficient and easy to deal with. This was a great place.

Ira runs a very nice condo that is literally only a few feet from the beach. The unit is well appointed with everything you night need. The location is just a few miles from many restaurants and shopping while the condo is in a quiet area on Anna Maria Island. Very nice condo on lovely Anna Maria Island. We appreciated the keyless entry, the quiet neighbourhood, having 2 lanais on opposite sides of the building so you could catch the sun at different times of the day (which was important for us since the weather was quite cool) and having a washer/dryer in the unit was a big plus. The condo was clean and comfortable. Ira was very helpful and easy to deal with. Our only suggestions would be to supply some kitchen basics like dish detergent, cooking oil spray, a few spices... things that are likely to be used in small amounts by most visitors, and to provide more than one dishcloth, tea towel, bathroom towels so laundering was not necessary during the week.

A wonderful place and a wonderful experience! We stayed at Ira’s “Life’s a Beach” condo in Anna Maria in mid-October. The place was great. The location was perfect–and, as described, just a few short steps away from the beautiful sugar-sand beach. The condo was large and well-appointed. Everything we needed was provided. Shopping for essentials was convenient. Ira was very generous in providing us with information about the island and local restaurants (including some great “reviews”). All our communications with Ira were promptly answered. We would highly recommend staying at this location. All-in-all things could not have been better.

We loved our stay on Anna Maria Island. The beach was beautiful and the water was so calm. The condo is just a short walk from the beach and is also conveniently located near a Publix and souvenir shops. One of the highlights of each day was to watch the sunset from the rooftop deck. The storage closet downstairs had everything (chairs, umbrellas, pool noodles, etc) we needed for a day on the beach. Ira gave us some suggestions for restaurants which were very helpful. This was our first visit to Anna Maria Island and we are already talking about a return visit.

The condo was everything we were looking for and more. The location is ideal for anything that you could want to do on the island. All in very short walking disance is the free trolley shop, grocery store, souvenir shops, and the beach access is even closer. It's almost like having your own private beach access it's so well situated. The pool was great also and the condo was very spacious and clean and nicely decorated. My two daughters (9 and 7 years old) and I spent a wonderful week at Ira's Anna Maria Island condo in early April. The unit was very clean and spacious with easy access to the beach and convenient, close shopping. While perhaps not the ideal place if you're looking for a wild, vibrant night scene, there is plenty to see and do. If relaxation with the conveniences of home is what you're after, this place is ideal!

My wife and I will definitely be back. The condo was very comfortable, and spacious. It has a well equipped kitchen and better than usual appliances. Located on a very nice part of the beach. Exhausted from the trip down to Anna Maria, the first night we ordered a pizza and took it up to the roof top deck and enjoyed our first sunset. It’s an easy walk to the Publix shopping center, drug store, etc. You could actually do without a car for the week if you were so inclined. A very pleasant experience; Ira is a good communicator.

Location-Location, value, convenient, clean, well equipped. Short walk to beach. Storage closet full of beach chairs,umbrella, and bicycle. Great family vacation spot. Pack light-washer and dryer here. A true vacation is one that you do not have to get in your car every time you want to do something. Here you can walk,ride one of Ira's bikes, or take the free trolly. Good restaurants,Publix,CVS, are all near-Yet far enough that you still get that "ole Florida feel. We enjoyed breakfast on the beach (public beach) after our morning walk. Don't miss the sunset on rooftop. Keyless entry was a plus. Ira really cares that you have a good stay.

Ana Maria Island is a slice of "Old Florida", the condo is a minute's walk from the beach. And a short bike ride to the Publix (bikes included)makes everything convienient. We both cook and were thrilled to see a full size and well equipped kitchen, we ate at home most nights. The condo is well equipped but wish there had been dish soap and laundry detergent. Also would be great if there was a channel guide for the cable TV. All things considered we would stay there again in a heartbeat! Thanks, Ira!

We had a blast at your condo! Everything that was needed by the ultimate beach family was provided - from bicycles, beach towels, beach lounges and even an umbrella - were greatly appreciated! The beach at Anna Maria was perfect for the kids - they could swim out and still touch the bottom - where my husband found two blue srtiped crabs! We collected Sand dollars along the sand bar and took numerous walks along the surf! The lanai had beaming sun coming through the windows all day - We will be back next year - we can't wait!

Our first visit to this piece of paradise will not be our last! We stayed for a full week and did not lack for anything to do. The beach is truly steps away as are shops and groceries. The condo complex is neat and clean and offers everything you could need for a wonderful vacation. The rooftop deck is the place to be for views of a fabulous sunset. Ira was great to work with in setting up the perfect vacation. Keyless entry to condo was also great (no, do you have the key?!) Trust that you will not be disappointed by choosing this as your beach vacation location.

This is a very spacious 2 bedroom condo and an unbelieveable value! Comfortable furnishings, large kitchen (for a condo), and a truly SHORT walk to the most beautiful beach in Florida. Our two year old had such a good time in the crystal clear waters and gentle surf. I LOVED the storage closet downstairs loaded with beach supplies. It was a great place to unload your beach stuff instead of having to lug it all to your room. Ira was so accomadating and eagerly shared insider tidbits about the island. We will DEFINITELY be back! I'm so glad that I only live two hours away! Even my mother loved it, and trust me, she is VERY picky!:)

This is the best location on Anna Maria Island--especially if you like being close to the beach but can't or won't pay for beachfront. This is a clean condo, and I am picky when it comes to cleanliness! The owner is pleasant and accomodating. The pool is on the small side but it's enough for a nice dip (our kids like it); we only wish it were heated in May when we are there. This is a relaxing and quiet area with some important places w/in walking distance (Publix supermarket, CVS, Beach Unlimited, Shell's Restaurant, Skinny's Restaurant, trolley stop, playground at Manatee Public Beach, etc.). We have small kids and they don't mind any of the distances.

If I had a complaint, it was that the online description didn't do it justice. We had a magnificent time! Beautiful beaches, comfortable, spacious accomodations, friendly people - just a great experience all around.

We have stayed at "Life's a Beach" condo twice. We love it! It has everything you might need on vacation. The location is great. We hope to return.
