we rented T'Ree Palms for a family vacation in St.John, there were 3 generations, grandkids, parents and grandparents. The listing description was accurate, the house layout was great and overall the property was well maintained. the landcasping is beautifully done and lots of fruit trees surround the pool. The two sets of grandparents took the upstairs while the parents and the young kids were downstairs - having 2 decks, 2 kitchens/living rooms was very helpful, we never felt like we were on top of each other: everyone got to relax in their own space and also spend time together for lunches/dinners either upstairs or downstairs. The house amenities were great, everyone loved the pool AND hot tub. Having 2 gas grills was great, we cooked lunches by the pool and dinners upstairs. Never bothered with the AC units, the large screen doors, ceiling fans and uphill location provided more than sufficient breeze. Kitchens were equipped very well, the upstairs one in particular had high end utensils, knives and appliances. The house also had a large collection of music, DVDs, kids games, toys, books. plus an upstairs and downstairs stereo system that had a built-in iPod/iPhone connection/charger. Of course, Wi-Fi was included. The house was so wonderful that on some days, instead of going to St. John's amazing beaches, we opted to just relax on one of the decks or hammocks, swim in the pool or soak in the hot tub. Alternatively, on beach days, everyone was looking forward to returning to T'Ree Palms to relax. The view from the pool deck overlooking Fish Bay is amazing, at night you can see a sky full of stars while soaking in the hot tub. Last, but not least, the owners were great, very easy to contact/communicate, we arranged everything very quickly. they were very patient with us and our many inquiries prior to the trip. We had rented other houses on previous visits to St.John and for us, T'Ree Palms was the perfect mix of size/features/price - this is the first property we will check availability in 2013 when we plan on coming back to St. John.

My son was just married on the island os St. John, and more than anything I wanted our entire family to be together, perhaps one last time. When we found T'ree Palms I knew the space would be large enough for us all, but I had no idea how beautiful our accommodations would be.The view from all levels overlooks the island below, with a pool and hot tub similar to an infinity pool. The location of the villa is nestled within beautifully groomed, lush tropics. T'ree Palms was filled with everything we could possibly need, including steam irons for wedding wear, and hair dryers. The villa is beautifully maintained, inside and out, with a unique touch of beautiful island artwork. We were fortunate enough to also rent the studio apartment, which is attached to the villa. As the villa is separated into three different living spaces, there was privacy and comfort for everyone. Those who stayed up late and enjoyed the pool under the stars didn't disturb those who retired early. T'ree Palms offers a lush, luxurious vacation hide away, magnificent in every way.

Really had a great time. The house was nice, quiet secluded, with a great view south out to Fish Bay and the ocean. Great shaded porches for relaxing, hammock on each level (2 levels). Hot tub and pool and garden on the lowest level. Ended every evening with a dip in the lighted pool, and relaxing in the hot tub. Upper level is recently renovated, big open floor plan. Kitchen was very well stocked, with all the appliances, pots, pans and accessories you need. Perfect for a relaxing escape, close enough to Cruz Bay to pop in to town in 10 min. Without a doubt, would love to visit T'ree Palms again.

My husband and I travelled with our 3 teens and both of our mothers. The property was spacious and very comfortable. Everything we needed for cooking was available and it great condition. The balconies were awesome places to sit and relax and enjoy the beautiful view of Fish Bay. I would recommend this property to a friend. I would not recommend this property for those who have trouble with stairs.

This exceeded my expectations by a shot. The place was wonderful and Ron the caretaker was incredibly helpful. The kitchen was decked out and allowed you to cook gourmet if you chose. The villa was so fresh and clean with fun touches of color choice and fun tile mosaics. My children had a blast. We were traveling with my sister and her kids so we rented both the upstairs and downstairs for the week. Ron was like MacGyver and prepared for anything and everything. He inspected our tires and inflated then, he gave us a loaf of his home-made banana bread and showed up with and arsenal of lighting devices minutes after we had a power outage. We did not want or need for anything during our stay! Thank you

My wife and I and our two children, 13 and 17, stayed on the lower level for a week this summer over July 4th. We had a remarkable time and thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality of T'Ree Palms. The location was ideal. Only 10-15 minutes from town, yet at the 'end of the road' and halfway up the ridge overlooking Fish Bay and with a direct view south and into the ocean breeze. The lower unit is really more of the middle unit as it overlooks the pool and patio and has this amazing porch that stretches the length of the house. Driveway on the left, banana trees on the right (and the fresh banana bread our hosts shared with us was delicious!) This unit was perfect for our family with two single beds on one end, a comfortable queen bed on the other and a very comfortable kitchen/living room in between. Thanks again for a wonderful home base for our vacation this summer. It couldn't have been more perfect for us. It was great to finish each day at the beach with a dip in the pool and/or the hot tub. I also loved grilling steaks by the pool with the view of Fish Bay out before me and a cold Red Stripe. Lovely!

My family and I recently spent 2 weeks at T'ree Palms this spring and it was a really great time. We had every kind of trouble with weather delays and grouchy airline employees and didnt arrive on our scheduled arrival day. Mac and Ron couldn't have been more concerned about what was going on with us during this and very helpful to the point of rearranging the next day in order to meet us etc. Once we did arrive we couldn't have been happier. Best Auto was waiting for us at the dock(nice touch) and then Ron picked us up at Best. From there Ron let it be up to us rather than decide for us when he would help us get provisions. We chose sooner and so Ron patiently waited as we did a weeks worth of stocking up. Arrival at the house was a really great feeling that we made the right choice. The home was welcoming but the hosts were really what made it for us. Ron and Mac couldn't have gone out of their way for us enough. Anything we wanted to know or do they helped us anyway they could. The fish that we were able to eat thanks to Mac was exceptional and we would just like to say Thank You Mac and Ron and Korin for a great vacation with no worries and alot of fond memories. From reaching out with an email and then having Korin to bounce questions off of to the house and pool and decks then to Ron and Mac so helpful we couldnt have asked for anything more. I'm already trying to figure out my next trip back! You are tremendous hosts and your place is tops.

We rented T'ree Palms with another family (4 adults and 4 kids total) just before Easter and had an incredible stay. The kids loved the pool and the accommodations were great. Ron was a fantastic host with lots of insight and advice. He helped us book a day trip to the BVI on the "Bad Kitty" which was a trip highlight. We would definitely stay there again!

Just returned from a wonderful week in St. John at T'Ree Palms. Beautiful home and location with fabulous "forever" views. We rented the full house (both levels) for our group of 5 adults. T'Ree Palms was the perfect home for us - giving each person their own space as well as terrific "common areas". It was hard to choose between lounging by the pool or heading off to one of St. John's wonderful beaches. Being an experienced "vrbo-er", I would have to say the level of service and care was exceptional. Great communication before and during our trip. The house itself is great - nice, comfortable furniture, a fully outfitted kitchen (and I do mean fully!), outdoor areas for meals as well as a terrific variety of movies for those evenings at home. As a person who enjoys cooking (even on vacation) I appreciated all the tools of the trade. And as mentioned in other reviews, a car is necessary (4 wheel is best) so you can tour the island or head to Starfish Market to restock your rum or beer supply for sunset cocktails. Many thanks to Ron, Korin and Mac for a great trip. We look forward to returning to St. John and T'Ree Palms often!

We just returned from 10 days at this lovely property overlooking Fish Bay. We stayed on the upper level of the house which was very comfortable and we enjoyed the well stocked kitchen and outdoor grill. The porch was a great place to dine, relax, read a book, or watch the cruise ships go by. We also enjoyed cloud watching late afternoons in the hot tub. The pool was very refreshing after a day at the beach snorkeling. Ron who lives on site was a great host and we enjoyed the banana bread and fresh organic oranges he provided us with. We have been vacationing in St. John for 20 years and would return to this home (upstairs) which we think says it all.

While the pictures look great, they don't do it justice. T'Ree Palms is a paradise. The pool and hot tub were great--the decks/balconies/bedrooms were wonderful. Ron was extremely helpful and responsive (he hooked me up with a tennis group he knows and I got my tennis fix throughout the week)--he really made a great week exceptional. We explored St. John, visited a new beach each day, spent one day on St. Thomas, and had a great time. We had a large group (8), but the property had plenty of space, and enabled some to 'take a day off' and lounge around while others hit a beach or shopped or toured the island for the day. Note that driving in St. John is tricky--narrow roads, steep hills, tight turns, an occasional goat or donkey near the road, and T'Ree Palms is up a driveway with some blind switchbacks. Fortunately, the location is nice and private and you almost never encounter traffic once you get near the property. Warning--a week isn't enough, and once you go to T'Ree Palms one time, you will be planning a return before you even get home!

Our vacation experience with our two children was absolutely marvelous. T'Ree Palms was a comfortable, spacious, friendly place to stay. The photographs on the web site do not do justice to the beautiful views. Fresh fruit from the yard was a welcomed treat! Each day we explored a different beach and found that each one had something special to offer. Mac and Korin knew all of the best places to go depending on our interests that day, whether it was a quiet time on the beach, swimming with sea turtles, or exploring island ruins. Thanks for being such wonderful hosts, Mac and Korin!

T'ree Palms is a fantastic St. John villa. We spent 5 days there (my wife and I and our 2 children), and had a great time. The setup of the villa is perfect for a family, with a queen size bed in one room and 2 twins in the other. The house is clean and very comfortable, and we really enjoyed the pool, hot tub and the breathtaking view from the porch. It is also nicely equipped - the kitchen has everything you need, there are books, St. John guides, a good selection of DVDs to watch, and a washer-dryer. The location is perfect, quiet but close to Cruz Bay and beaches. Our hosts were friendly and helpful when needed, but otherwise T'ree Palms is very private - you really don't know there is anyone living upstairs (other than from the treats that appear in your kitchen). Can't wait to go back!

My wife and I just returned from our first visit to St. John's and a stay at T'ree Palms. We had a spectacular time and only wish we could have extended our stay. The property is beautiful. It is convenient to Cruz Bay - where the grocery store and majority of dining/activities are located on the island. Fish bay is very quiet and peaceful. The villa itself is well appointed with all the conveniences a beach place should offer (I was even able to watch the NCAA basketball tournament on the cable TV). The pool and hot-tub were great. There's plenty of beach chairs, towels, games and a cooler for day trips to the beach. A favorite of ours was the high-end gas grill on the deck which allows you to grill with views of the Carribean! The owners are extremely attentive but not in the least bit obtrusive. We would come home from the beach and find fresh lemonade, banana bread and rum cake waiting for us! Our favorite activities were day trips to Hawksnest and Trunk Bay, a daysail on the Calypso to Jost Van Dyke, a hike on the Reef Bay trail, dinner at Zozo, and lunch at Island Blues in Coral Bay. St. John is definitely not a nightlife hotspot which was fine for us. We were a little intimidated by the logistics of flying to St. Thomas and transferring to St. John on the ferry. It couldn't have been easier. We rented a car at the airport and drove to Red Hook (about 20 minutes) where the ferry departs for Cruz Bay. We definitely felt that T'ree Palms was a great value and would certainly return.

Celebrating Christmas in St. John was wonderful, and T'ree Palms was the perfect hideaway to spend the week relaxing with family. The house is cozy and comfortable, and the view, pool and hottub make you feel like you're at your own private resort, only without all those other annoying guests. The house is a short, easy drive to/from Cruz Bay, and National Park trailheads and south shore beaches are accessible on foot from the house. Mac and Korin were friendly and hospitable, offering helpful advice and baked treats (even took us fishing!), but they never got in our way, and except for the occasional pitter-patter of little feet upstairs, you wouldn't even know they were home. We had a great time overall, and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

T'ree Palms was everything that we had hoped for. The house/property was clean and comfortable; most everything we needed was there. The location was excellent. Away from the noise of Cruz Bay, but convenient to shopping, groceries, and beaches. The porch and pool/hot tub were favorite spots, with a beautiful view. Mac and Korin provided a nice balance of privacy while making us feel well cared for. They were there when we needed them, but otherwise we felt like the place was ours alone. We enjoyed daily treats, bird feeders on the porch, and fun house guests (a large stuffed Santa and Mrs. Claus provided Christmas spirit). We had a very merry Christmas in the Caribbean, and would recommend T'ree Palms to anyone traveling to St John.

This was a remarkable experience to myself and my family. Hospitality, care you guys provided was the best, it can not be better... getting of the ferry we punctured a tire, Mac, who great ed us at the ferry, took us home and was so carrying, that he did not mind to make a trip to St. Thomas on his own and get a new tire for us. This was only beginning, we had all care that we needed, and we had been with two small children, who enjoyed pool and jacuzzi and would probably stay all the time if could. Dear, Korin and Mac, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your house is like a fairy tale, I never expected so fantastic decoration, absolutely astonishing, every detail, every little thing so perfect, just excellent, beds, linen, cutlery etc was perfect. We even had all necessary sunblocks, lotions etc provided. View and tranquility is astonishing, even weather, in spite of the season, was just perfect. I can not describe all pleasures that we had at your place, just accept my statement: we had wonderful vacation! Thank you, sincerely yours Dana Banelis, MD Decatur, AL

What a WONDERFUL Place! The Pool and hot tub were magnificant! Mac, Korin and Barb gave the greatest advice and yummy treats for after our long days at the beach and bars. The hammock on the deck was MY spot to watch the stars at night and lights from the cruise ships out past Fish Bay. Not to far from anywhere on the island (after you get use to driving those hills!) Can't wait to go back!

We had a wonderful week at the T'ree Palms Guesthouse. Mac, Korin, and Barb were extremely welcoming and made our stay all the better. Korin picked us up at the boat and helped us navigate the tricky St. John roads to the house where Mac had our rental car waiting for us. As first time visitors to the island, this was very helpful. We also went on a fishing trip with Mac and Barb where we caught only barracuda, but we had a great time. We were a little hesitant at first to rent where the owners would be upstairs, but found that it was never a problem. Other than when we sought them out, we never even knew they were there (except for the tidy kitchen and delicious baked goods they left for us each day while we were at the beach). The pool and hot tub were always clean, and we enjoyed spending time on the patio by the pool after a day at the beach. All-in-all, we highly recommend T'ree Palms and would be happy if any potential renters would like to contact us about our experience.

Our stay at T'ree Palms was amazing! We relaxed in the pool and spa, ate our freshly grilled tuna on the deck, and slept in very comfortable beds. Snorkeling at Trunk Bay and Hawks Nest was incredible, as well as hiking, shopping, and touring St John. We look forward to a return visit to T'ree Palms this winter.
