What a magnificent destination! Everything was First Class - everything!!! The accommodation was impeccable. The vistas were stunning. The tranquility was delightful! Cecile is wonderful to deal with and shared her "local knowledge" of many interesting places to visit. I'll come back again in a heartbeat. I heartily recommend The Oasis to anyone coming to Lake Country - "You'll Love It" - we did!!!!

Exceptional home and location
Exceptional home and location
My family of 3 adults vacationed at the Oasis in August. We absolutely loved Lake Country and this beautiful, immaculately clean, well-equipped home. The views are stunning over the lake from everywhere you look inside and out. I quickly became addicted to the front porch, admiring the flowers, watching the hummingbirds flit from bloom to bloom and the quail families parade through the yard. We spent hours on the porches. It became my daughter-in-law’s remote office, our reading room, living room, dining room and on occasion, sleeping room. The location is very private and comfortable. One of our most relaxing vacations ever! Beds were excellent with lovely linens. All rooms including bathrooms, laundry room, kitchen and wrap around porches were perfectly appointed. The large kitchen is exceptionally well equipped. We grilled dinner outside enjoying the sun setting and then a dip in the immaculately clean hot tub under the stars. We loved the weather, the beauty, the fresh fruits, the wineries, the lake, beach, activities, restaurants and the extremely nice people everywhere. A big thank you to the owner and manager who were very easy to work with, welcoming and accommodating. This was our 10th VRBO rental and if we’re lucky, maybe our 11th, 12th, etc. Highly recommend this house for a lovely, peaceful, relaxing getaway, yet I selfishly don’t want anyone else to rent it so I can harbor the illusion that it is truly my vacation home. P.S. Don’t miss Quail’s Gate winery in West Kelowna for very special treat.

Lake Country Retreat
Lake Country Retreat
Our family stayed at this beautiful property July 2013, and it provided our young family the perfect backdrop for a wonderfully relaxing holiday. The home and property are beautiful, well appointed, and situated perfectly within Lake Country. The location is ideal, minutes from OK Centre, beaches and great wineries. As we had a small baby this summer, one of us was able to take our 3 year old to the beach at the end of the driveway, while the other stayed on the property for nap time. Other days it was very easy to head down to enjoy the larger beaches and Okanagan Lake. The house was just as pictured, clean, well stocked, it was very easy for us to just unpack our luggage and groceries, and start enjoying our holiday. We were very surprised with how stocked the kitchen, laundry room, and bathroom were with staples, kitchen equipment and toiletries. The grounds and decks were exceptionally cared for, and our family pretty much lived on the decks for the entire week. My three-year old daughter was delighted with both the video library of Disney movies, and the hot tub! The property manager, Kim, was wonderful, she gave us a very thorough introduction to both the house and the area. One caveat for the area, for those arriving on a Sunday afternoon/evening, many of the local restaurants are either closed on Sundays or close at 5 pm -- and we were very lucky to have our groceries and the well-equipped kitchen at our disposal! Would highly recommend this property, except I don't want others to rent it! I'll have to make my next bookings right away!

Owner response: Happy you enjoyed your stay Lynette. Thanks for the note regarding restaurants on Sunday evening. We will be sure to give future guests a heads up! Hope to see you return soon!
?Our party of three adults and two children stayed here for a week in July and had a fantastic vacation. The property was meticulously clean, and very well stocked with kitchen appliances and home conveniences. There are a number of outdoor spaces, including a beautiful and well maintained garden complete with pond, fish and waterfall, a deck for sunbathing and a covered veranda for some welcome shade. The house is located slightly uphill from the Lake which provides great views of the Lake. It is a two minute walk to the water. The Lake was very high when we visited which meant that the beach areas were smaller than normal but we had no problems getting in for a swim. The beach is made of small round rocks, so beach shoes were a big help. The house is in a quiet and secluded spot, but only about 20 minutes drive to Kelowna or Vernon. There are supermarkets about five minutes drive away in Winfield and a very nice coffee shop in Okanagan Centre, also five minutes drive away. Would recommend visiting Gray Monk Winery and Ricardo's Mediterranean Kitchen while you stay here. We had a few issues when we were trying to leave (unrelated to the house) and the property manager was very patient and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
