Joey is coming back for her 3rd straight year and is extending her stay for 3 weeks in August 2011, see the availability calendar. She has never mentioned anything about noise or the elevators. When she reserved her 3 week summer holiday with us, she mentioned how clean and convenient our vacation home is. She is very excited to come back to the cool weather and the fantastic town!!

Hi Brian: Everything about the Christmas stay was great. We really enjoyed your condo and all its amenities. It was very comfortable, and the fully equipped kitchen was much appreciated! It certainly helped save a lot of money to be able to go to the grocery store so conveniently and have ample cooking and refrigerator space. It was also great having the bus stop right in front of the lodge. We got lucky with amazing weather all week too, and the skiing was good! My husband and I have stayed here a few times, and I have to say that this place is comfortable, clean and quiet. Not only is the location a huge benefit, but the covered parking, hot tubs, bars and resturants around make the condo a great place to get away. I have recommended this condo to my family and friends. Over all, it is a very cozy place and we will be going back again.

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

I've stayed at dozens of places in Breckenridge over the years but have never taken the time to write a review. I'm writing one now because I believe River Mountain Lodge has the complete package of convenience, comfort, quality and value. I've stayed here several times in the winter (and summer) in this unit and it's right at the bottom of the 4'Oclock ski run so you literaly ski down and walk 5 seconds across the street into the lobby where the bell staff take your skis (for free)! Summer or winter the free bus service stops right out front and takes you to all mountains in Breck and even Keystone, A-Basin, Copper - all for free! The place has a total of 4 hot tubs, a heated pool open year round and even a workout area. The Fireside lounge is super nice and has comfy couches and a fireplace and the cheapest beers in town at only $1.50 a draft! There is an elevator that takes you from the free, heated, secured, underground parking garage to this top floor unit. Being on the top floor made it quiet and warm. Downstairs as Eric's (awesome pizza/food) and all of Main street shops and restaurants are less than a 1 minute walk away! I've stayed at the Village at Breckenridge and the location is decent for skiing but they have only 2-3 hot tubs and 1 pool for a complex probably 4 times the size of this place - it's packed. When you consider the whole package, River Mountain Lodge can't be beat and I recommend it to everyone I know. Thanks for the personal touches like the wine. It seems like the place always has something new or updated when I stay.

Great studio for two

My husband and I spend the month of September in Breckenridge. We stayed in this studio and were very happy with it. The kitchen is well equipped, town center is very close, both the condo and the property are clean, the staff at the front desk is helpful. The owner was very accommodating making the place ready on a short notice upon arrival and letting us stay past check-out time on departure. We had a very pleasant stay and can wholeheartedly recommend the condo.

Recommended for:Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Great Vacation! Great condo! Great conditions tpp. Though we were hoping for a little more sun & spring skiing- skied through several blizzards instead of getting our ski sun tan! Your condo is in such a great location. Love the shuttle service- used it every day to get to the gondola & even to the supermarket. Enjoyed the Mexican restaurant on the ground level, Jalepenos. Great fondue at the Swiss Haven and the crepes were amazing at the Take Out Crepe Place on Main St.

We came to celebrate our 3rd anniversary and we had a wonderful time. Thank you to Brian for helping us get everything arranged- you made it very easy for us! We would love to come back and celebrate again! Despite the lack of snow, we had a great time on the mountain. Highlights of the trip included the MOST DELICIOUS meal I have ever eaten at the Hearthstone, pizza at Fatty's and shopping on Main Street. It was a perfect trip! The condo was very cozy- just the right size and location for us. The amenities here are great- enjoyed the Fireside Lounge and hot tubs! Thank you again!

What a wonderfulweek we had. In the past, we've stayed at Beaver Run because of the ski-in, ski-out accessability. i had reservations about trying something new. My husband convinced me to try your condo. He was very comfortable with you and felt this was going to be a great place for the two of us. Boy, did he make the right decision. I'm sold. Not only is the hotel beautiful, the location couldn't be better. The free shuttle takes you right to the lift and we ski back to the room. The best part is the location.... right in the center of town. We Loved It and we will be back!!

We had a great time skiing in Colorado. The condo was perfect in every way. Brian, we would like to thank you so much for letting us come in early on Thursday. Stayed Jan 23 - Feb 5, 2009 9th time in Breckenridge, 1st time at the River Mountain Lodge and what a treat. Ideal location for shops and restaurants, free bus stop across the street ( 15 minutes to the top of the Mercury lift via Beaver Run!) the 4 O' Clock to the door- perfect. Great value meals at Mi Casa ( Hi Tracey!) and Rasta Pasta, Bubba Gump for fab fish and Modis for something special ( book even midweek, it's busy) Fantastic condo, everything and more than we expected- thank you. Keystone and Beaver Creek well worth a visit but Peaks 7 to 10 at Breck are the best. Hope to be back for the snow sculptures again next year. Thanks again. P.S. The bottle of wine made the 22 hour journey almost worth it! Thank you!!
