We came for a family wedding, five adults and two kids. What a beautiful home and area. We loved every minute we were there. Owner Sydney was so helpful and went out of her way to make our stay so enjoyable. Grandkids aged 6 and 4 loved the house, the yard and cats! They even named their favorite Smoky Whiskers. We would highly recommend this house!

home away from home
home away from home
my husbands co worker laughed at us for vacationing in Middleton, Idaho. Jokes on him, there was nothing funny about staying at this property, well except when our dogs tried to follow the barn cats under the barn door and smacked thier heads instead. This home had everything we could have asked for and more, we brought the whole familily and when I say whole I mean WHOLE FAMILY , kids , dogs , and our horses. how neat is that !!! We got to bring all of our animals with us and not worry about them while we were away.. I spent every morning on the front swing waiting for sunrise, and every evening on the beautiful back patio watching the horses graze, listing to the sheep next door and watching the sunset. it was bliss. the house is huge, much bigger then the pics show, we had friends and family over all week for BBQ in the wonderful outdoor kitchen. they had such a good time. so much space. The master Bedroom is ideally set up with a huge soaking tub and seperate shower and a closet as big as most bedrooms. The other rooms are clean and wonderfully decorated. My girls had great times working on drills in the arena and riding the endless patchwork of ditchbanks that southern Idaho has to offer. Owner was always available via e-mail and bent over backwards to make our stay worry free..she is a wonderful person and we enjoyed a cup of coffee on irrigation day and shared stories , i will consider her a life long friend. Middleton is a sweet little town , try out the little burger joint and have a real milk shake , drive out to the hills and do some target practice, jump off a bridge into the irrigation canals, my kids got to do all these things that I did as a teen in the Boise area.. but honestly once we arrived at the house I never wanted to leave it is that comfortable and elegant of a home. the A/C was a welcome relief form the afternoon heat we are not used to anymore.having been in the portland area for 20 years.. The barn , stalls , and arena are top notch and safe safe safe...our horses settled right in , and had green pasture !! The dogs had a covered kennel to keep them safe and contained , it truly was a home away from home , and we all wish to stay again, I highly recommend this property to those who love to travel with thier dogs and horses, you cant beat an early morning ride in southern Idaho, and the mountains are a short hour or so away to trailor out for some bigger adventure.. Thank you sydney for the use of your wonderful hom

Delightful country home
Delightful country home
Our adult family of seven had a wonderful time at this sweet country home. Lots of indoor and outdoor space for everyone. Creatively furnished and well stocked. Especially loved the porch swing in the morning sunshine and the friendly barn cats. Master suite is awesome. Convenient to town but gives the country experience. A fun yet peaceful home. Thank you!

The well maintained landscaping was always a pleasure to walk barefoot in during the heat of the days. Hard to choose between lounging outside and enjoying the view from the comfortable patio or inside with the interesting decor. Very quiet and a good location for star gazing. Owner was always helpful when we had questions. She furnished the home especially for my group. Kids would have loved to pet the horses but I believe it was better (for the horses) they avoided my group of children. Lots of space inside and out for our family gathering. We really enjoyed having the arena to play volleyball in. Considering we have 4 teenage girls on teams, this kept them practicing. My husband enjoyed the trips to the golf course. We are planning on returning.
