Our condo has been completely renovated as of December 2004. Upgrades include a large modern newly reconfigured granite kitchen, all new appliances including a ceramic sealed-cooktop with oven, custom-tiled bathroom with walk-in shower and all Kohler fixtures, Italian porcelain floor throughout plus much more. Even our lanai is redone with oversized porcelain tile.
The unit comes complete with bedroom A/C, full-sized ensuite washer/dryer unit, full kitchen including large refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, blender, coffee maker, dishes, utensils, linens etc., king bed and cable TV in the bedroom, a large sofa that converts to a queen bed, a comfy chair, local phone with answering machine and a full entertainment center with cable TV, DVD, VCR and stereo in the living room. And now we also provide DSL high-speed internet with wireless if you really must bring your laptop!
As a bonus, beach chairs, beach towels, beach umbrellas, boogie boards, a cooler and any other "SunFun" items that we can think of are also provided.
Since our condo is located in a front row building, you can enjoy partial ocean, sunset and with luck, even whale views right from your living room and covered lanai. You can even see Molokini crater and Kaho'olawe Island just offshore. Our lanai is within a mere 50 steps or about 30 seconds across the street from the beach.
Our ground floor unit is set away from the office, pool and other main traffic areas, but is conveniently located in the front of the complex, with a small dedicated parking area. So you don't have to haul your luggage or groceries more than a few steps or up any stairs, just stroll right on in ! Plus you can't beat the easy walking access to shops, restaurants and beach activities right next door.
Kihei Kai Nani is a small, private resort complex of one-bedroom condominiums on six acres of lush, tropical gardens. Conveniently located in the heart of South Kihei, the resort is right across the street from beautiful Kamaole Beach Park II, the center of the three most popular swimming beaches on Maui.
Sheltered within the southwest leeward cove of Maui, the three Kamaole beaches are free of the currents, kelp, rocks and coral found elsewhere on the island making them the IDEAL swimming beaches for kids!
Plus, the three Kamaole beach parks all provide shady grass knolls with BBQ areas and picnic tables, showers, restrooms, lifeguards and even a beach volleyball court.
Indeed, swimming, boogie boarding, kayaking, snorkeling and SCUBA are popular here all year round.
Because Kamaole Beach Park II does not have a parking lot, it tends to be less crowded and noisy than the other beaches and our lanai is just a few steps away, directly across the street.
The resort offers a large swimming pool, gas barbeques and a pavilion for community gatherings.
When you do want to explore, the Wailea resorts, world-class golf, the Pacific Whale Foundation and the new Kihei Aquatic Center, with two Olympic-sized pools plus a kiddie pool, are all less than a ten-minute drive away. |
