Welcome to LITTLE BEAR in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, where the annual snowfall averages over 333 inches and the term "Champagne Powder" was coined. Steamboat offers almost 3000 acres of skiable terrain from the beginner to the extreme. If summer is more to your liking, try mountain biking on some of the of outrageous terrain, kayak the roaring Yampa River, fish on one of the many rivers and creeks or just hike around in one of the many National Forest or Wilderness trails in the area. Charlotte and Kevin, the new owners of "Lil'Bear" represent a small number of homeowners who wish to share their homes here in Steamboat with guests who want to enjoy all that Steamboat has to offer. We stay small to offer personal attention to both our guests and our owners. Want someone to ski with? We can arrange for the "Adults over 50" ski group and for chidren beginners to advanced skiiers!
LITTLE BEAR is a one of a kind duplex home located a short distance to the Gondola/Base area and perfect lodging for a family vacation. Relax on the deck and enjoy the view of the Gondola running on Mt. Werner with your morning coffee. Take a walk on the trail right out back, which leads to a small pond in one direction, and to the Yampa River Core Trail in the other.

This home is located approximately ¾ of a mile. from the Gondola/Base area. It is also on the free City of Steamboat shuttles that run to the mountain and downtown.

This 2120 s.f. home is 3 bedrooms/2 baths on three levels. Great for that family get together and plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The home is fully furnished and fully equipped, including the well appointed kitchen. Need to relax after a long day on the mountain, check out the fireplace and flat screen TV from the comfy living room couch. Right off the living room is the deck with a great view of the mountain and BBQ grill. Or soak in the hot tub after a long day on the mountain. For those who want to keep in touch with the world outside Steamboat the home offers wireless high speed internet. For the kids (and adults) there are TV’s throughout the home. There is a two car garage and washer/dryer in the home.
