The Vail Ski Chalet offers a home away from home. On a very private, three-quarter acre, wooded lot that offers spectacular mountain views and stargazing from our private hot tub. A gas fireplace with a steam room shower, and a two person jacuzzi add to the luxury of the master suite. The Family room with its vaulted ceilings and stone woodburning fireplace offer a relaxing venue to entertain and congregate. The Dining room with its staghorn chandelier seats ten. In Oct. 2010 we added a 55" SONY flat screen over the the fire place with surround sound. The Kitchen and Laundry room are also brand new with all new appliances and fixtures!
Everything you could possibly need is here, a breadmaker? Yes! a cappuccino, latte machine? Yes! High Speed internet, Yes. Over 100 movies in our video library, so no need to rent one. Year round access to a gas grill for barbecuing. We would be delighted to set up our twelve foot Christmas tree for you to enjoy for the holiday season as well. The master bedroom has a king size sleigh bed, two of the bedrooms have queens and the forth bedroom has 2 fulls and a twin size bed great for kids!In the fall of 2009 the bathroom were completely renevated for luxurious comfort for all.

Wonderful Vacation Home!

Our family of four has come to stay for month long rentals for the past two years and Ralph has made sure that our stay was comfortable and perfect in everyway... We've enjoyed enviting our friends to come stay and enjoy this wonderful place as well. The bedrooms were the perfect set up for two families and 5 kids. We all had our own space!The deck outside is superb! And the hottub is the best we have enjoyed since coming to Vail for the past 20 years. Our dog also loves coming here and enjoys the large yard to play around in. It can get a little warm inside with all of the large windows (which provide spectacular views) during the summer, but we remedy that by staying out of the house during the day and go hiking or relaxing on the back porch! All of the upgrades they have put into the home was money well spent. Truely this home is a high-end home!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, pet owners, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

My family and I stayed here over Christmas and it was absolutely wonderful! We were hesitant to stay in East Vail just because it tends to get less sun shine however, not with this home! It was very sunny and absolutely gorgeous. In fact, we spent most of our time spending time around the house, utilizing the hot tub, the fireplace, the beautiful kitchen and walking our dogs through the neighborhood to the nearby parks. We had 7 people comfortably in the home and the owners even had a christmas tree decorated for us upon arrival. However, I was most impressed with the owners and the cleaning staff. I left some expensive jewelry at the home and they drove it down to denver to return it to me! Wonderful people and incredibly helpful. We would stay here again and recommend it to anyone!

I stayed here with a group of friends over New Years weekend and the place was amazing. The owner was exceptional to deal with and very accomidating when it came to our schedule for the weekend. The house was perfect for a larger group and came furnished with just about everything you could want. Everyone in the group was impressed with the home. The free bus is easily accesible from the property and allowed us to leave our vehicles parked for the weekend. Made for a great weekend and it will be at the top of my list to stay at again the future.

Better Than Ever!!! I recently stayed at the Vail Ski Chalet for the third year in a row, and I must say, the owners did an excellent job with upgrades. First, the completely remodeled kitchen added all new appliances and granite, along with new cabinets. They even upgraded the washer and dryer room with new cabinets and new HE appliances. New this year as well was the 55 inch flat HD tv over the fireplace with surround sound! I still enjoyed the outside jacuzzi and upstairs master sauna steam shower, but loved the openness of the upgraded main floor. Looking forward to next year already!
