4908 Ashville Bay Road is a cozy and comfortable, two and a half-story classic cottage with modern kitchen and baths situated on 50 feet of totally private lakefront in beautiful and scenic Ashville Bay on the shores of Chautauqua Lake. We are located about three and a half miles from the bridge to Bemus Point, and in close proximity to all area attractions including the world famous Chautauqua Institution and historic Midway Park. Near the end of a dead end road, the surrounding property has lots of natural shade, and is ideal for all water related activities. A short cement stairway from road down to cottage and lake adds to privacy.

Relax and enjoy the best view on the lake from the glass enclosed lakeside porch, or sit outside under the covered side deck next to the spacious yard. The bonfire pit is great for evening get-togethers. Plenty of room for fishing, swimming, or parking your watercraft at the private 100 foot dock.

Newly remodeled large kitchen comes fully applianced for all your cooking needs. Recently remodeled modern baths are located on each floor. The main bath on second floor has his and her sinks, a full size tub with shower, and lots of vanity storage, plus brand new washer and dryer!

No need to sleep in a crowded "bunk" room or on the porch. All bedrooms are completely private and located on second floor with two bedrooms on lake side having full-size beds. The third bedroom has two twin beds. The living area is furnished with a sleeper sofa, and two twin air beds are available for additional sleeping needs. Great lake views can be seen from nearly every room in the house including all three bedrooms!

We offer 24-hour emergency maintenance service, and professional housekeeping weekly so that your stay will be as pleasant and worry free as possible.   • Our family had a great time. The house was the perfect size for us and very clean, and the location was great for our purposes. Had everything we needed. We brought our boat, and the dock worked out well for us. We hope to make a return trip soon.

  • Our family had a marvelous time at this home! Everything was immaculate and the home has a wonderful welcoming feeling. Quiet and private, but a short drive to "civilization". The home easily held 8 adults (and 1 baby). The lakeside is gorgeous, too! We did have 1 small maintenance problem and a repairman was there withing 1/2 hour. We also recommend Chautaqua Marine to rent a boat/jetskis. Good prices with a reputation for great service. This is definately a home we would love to return to!

  • Wonderful!! Five Stars! From the moment you step into the house you are at home. It is a real gem. The house is decorated so wonderfully and has everything you could want. The location is just minutes from everything the area has to offer. We were amazed at how quiet it was, very relaxing. We were planning our next trip before we left.

  • We enjoyed a lovely week at this rental property. The house is immaculately clean. The kitchen is very well equipped and all new. The bathrooms are modern. Greg and Michelle have managed to decorate and update this lovely house while maintaining the feel of a turn of the century cottage on the lake. You will definitely enjoy the sunporch facing the lake! This is a lovely vacation home.
