We just returned from a 3 day trip to Breck with family that flew into ski. Everything is as advertised. Sleeps 8 easily. Nice downstairs little family room with toys and videos for the kids. Tons of board games and a nice big hot tub with a view of Peak 9 (i think). Shuttles come to the end of the short street and you can ski back to the place on the four o'clock run. You can easily walk to town/Main st. We were happy with the experience. The place is very nice but not so fancy that you have to worry about the kids.
Owner response:Thanks for the nice review! The view is of Peak 8. Buses go up to Peaks 8 and 7 - both offering varied terrain -- green, blue, black and double black! Take the bus the other direction and get to Peaks 9 and 10.

The Perfect Family Vacation

This house was absolutly perfect for our family vacation in January. It is literally a block and a half away from main street, and maybe 2 blocks from the main gondola, so we could walk everywere we needed to. It had a bus stop at the end of the road - taking you to any of the peaks. We went with our two sons aged 2 and 4, and could not have been happier. The toys provided in the house kept them occupied the entire time, and it was really handy having the booster seats. The rooms are all a good size and very comfortable. Very well equipped bathrooms, with lots of hot water. The hot tub was huge - and perfect at the end of a long day skiing. The photos of this house really dont do it justice because it is even better when you are there. The kitchen is very well equipped, and we cooked dinner almost every night with all the equipment we needed. The owner was very helpful, and we would gladly reccomend this to our friends and family. We hope to have another great ski vacation here next year!!!

Lovely Christmas in Breckenridge

Our family of 5 enjoyed a lovely week over Christmas staying at this property, with 3 of our children's college age friends joining us toward the end. The layout was perfect: mom and dad in the upper bedroom, girls in the middle, boys in the basement. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking, with City Market only 10-15 minutes away by foot or bus. The family room was comfortable for dining, games and television. Getting to the slopes is a snap from the bus stop at the end of the cul de sac, and we were able to ski right to our front door down the Four O'clock Run when new snow covered the street. Main Street with its dining and shopping is an easy 5-10 minute walk. All in all a perfect situation for the ski vacation we desired.
