A RIVER RUNS THROUGH IT!! Enjoy the sounds of rushing water from this immaculate and modern 3 story log cabin on over one and a half acres overlooking Reedy Patch Creek, a tributary to the Rocky Broad River. Very private, yet convenient, central location. Chimney Rock Village and Lake Lure are two of the most scenic sights in the Western North Carolina Mountains, and among the very first areas you arrive at when coming from the SouthEast.
Just three miles from popular Chimney Rock Park, Hickory Nut Falls and Lake Lure, and only 20 miles from Asheville and the Biltmore Estate. Short drive to Flat Rock Playhouse, 45 minutes to Waynesville and snow skiing within 60-90 minutes. Just 55 minutes from Spartanburg, and 20 minutes from Hendersonville and Hwy 26.
Beautiful mountain and river views from huge decks. Large front deck is covered and screened and has four comfortable chairs for relaxing and watching the river run and a gas barbeque.
All furnishings very clean and nice. Large dining room table seats six comfortably, dish service for eight. Comfy leather couches, wood floors, high vaulted ceilings and a gas log fireplace all add to the charm of this great cabin! Please understand that the cabin was purcashed by me in 2004 and was 8 years old then. Most of the furnishings were purchased new when I bought the house, but they are not new now! It is clean, comfortable, charming and nice -- but not the Ritz Carlton!! Please look at all the photos and ask questions if you need!
Spacious living room with leather couch and love seat, color TV, DVD player and stereo. Loft has queen bed and single bed, with color TV and DVD player - ready to hook up your play station and keep the kids busy! Entry at lower level or 2nd level but there are stairs -- this is a 3 story cabin!
3 bedrooms and Loft each have queen beds and dressers/night stands. Huge windows all around bring the mountain scenery inside with you! Charming log cabin with wood floors, wood walls -- very cozy and clean! Don't miss the fall colors from the private deck of this great cabin!
Large rec room downstairs with Dart Board, TV, futon and Hot tub to relax in after long hikes!
Bring your own linens and towels -- four queen beds, queen futon and one single bed. Pillows provided, please bring and use pillowcases!
Fenced yard for kids and pets. No smoking inside please! PLEASE NOTE -- if you are considering bringing your pets - DO NOT BOTHER if your pet is accustomed to being on the furniture. For the comfort of ALL guests, it is vital that you keep your pets off the furniture. Evidence of pets on the furniture WILL result in a total loss of your pet deposit. Rate Details (In US Dollars)
(first 2 nights) ....... $175/night (2 night min)
Each additional night .. $150/night. $900/week. June-September weekly only
Holiday rates are $175 per night, no discounts. $600 weekly Jan-March
$75 cleaning fee. Pets okay, $150 pet fee per pet, per week,($30/day) applies.
$200/damage deposit + $300/pet deposit if applicable, refundable.
With 30 days notice, cancellations are fully refundable.
50% of rent + deposit due on booking, balance due 30 days prior to arrival
$10 per can if trash left at site.
