Location: Cedar, Northwest, Michigan, USA (20 minutes from Traverse City,Sleeping Bear Dunes,Glen Lake,)

Accommodations:  Home, 4 Bedrooms + Detached Unit, 2 Baths (Sleeps 9)

Lime Lake home steps from the water on 400 feet of waterfront. A sandy beach and crystal blue water await you. The beach has a fire pit, outdoor chase lounge chairs, dock, hammock, great for swimming, sunning, boating, canoeing/kayaking, etc. A mooring for your own boat and a aluminium boat of ours is there for your use. We are surrounded by Sleeping Bear National Park with hiking trails, golf, tennis, and skiing/snowmobiling in the winter months.

Our home is a four bedroom, two bath, laundry room, open floor plan with floor to ceiling glass. Vaulted ceilings with tongue and groove wood extend out to the exterior overhangs. The living area has two chair and a halves with ottoman and a large sofa, a two sided fireplace, large dining table that can seat 12. Flat screen T.V. with surrond sound system. Fully equipped kitchen, Silestone countertops, with new appliances and a gas grill.

The deck surrounds the entire home and each bedroom has own sliders to enter and exit. The master has a king bed with wall-mounted flat screen T.V., air conditioning, own private entrance to the newly renovated, limestone master bath. The second master faces the water as well with queen bed and wall-mounted flat screen T.V. Third bedroom has queen bed and fourth has bunk beds with trundle.

The home is appointed with wood floors in main living area, oriental rugs, fine artwork, and new wool berber in bedrooms. A detached quest house is available that has two bedrooms, bath, kitchen and living area.

We are located on a dead end street on the north end of the lake, just minutes from M-22, between Glen Arbor and Leland.

We rent Sunday through Sunday.

  • This is a wonderful home! It is located on Lime Lake and surrounded by woods. The exterior is charming with a wrap-around deck decorated with lovely flower boxes. The owners have integrated some landscaping just around the house, complimenting it perfectly. There is a small sand beach (with lawn chairs and a hammock), which is ideal for young children. Also, we have used the row boat many times. The house interior is spacious and filled with high quality furnishings, artwork, and decor. Sliding glass doors form the walls virtually around the entire house, bringing in abundant light and the feeling you are immersed in nature. Additionally, we want for nothing during our stay -- the kitchen is completely furnished and there is an ample supply of lush bath towels and linens. The master bedroom is luxurious, as well as the two bathrooms. This home has been a great place for our family to get together.
