This home has it all. Main level with 2 bedrooms, one with a full size bed and one with a queen. Solid wood floors, open kitchen to living area, that flows into the sun room/dining room that is to die for. Off the dining room is the deck with outdoor deck furniture.
The lower level has your own private bar with refridgerator/freezer, electronic dart board and a gas fireplace. One bedroom with a queen size bed. It also has laundry facility and large bath. Walk out to the patio with another set of table and chairs.
The upper level is a big room with 1 queen bed and 3 twin beds that's the perfect place for the kids to play video games while the parents can have piece and quiet downstairs.(Sega Saturn and many games supplied)

All this with your own south facing dock on 3300-acre Long Lake. The frontage is a level 150 yards to the south of the home. Take a boat ride to the famous sand bar. Enjoy dining on your own deck or at one of the several bar/restaurants on the lake.
This home is the perfect headquarters, centrally located between Hayward, Birchwood, Rice Lake, Cumberland, and Spooner and is within 1 mile of Butternut Golf Course, and is within 1/2 mile of public boat access to the lake.

I am currently working in the Real Estate industry. I met a fantastic woman in the Hayward area and we purchased a home together there. We had known about and loved the VRBO concept so we decided to put our home on Long Lake on the website. It has worked out wonderfully. We have met a lot of great people and feel so satisfied to see the enjoyment and relaxation they get from the home.

Real nice place for our 3 family stay [averaged 11 people for week] . While house is not actually on the lake we had access to lake [docked 2 boats there] through owner's parents property which is right accross the street. Kitchen area and accesories were very accomodating for all of our meals. Rented a pontoon for 1/2 week from Long Lake bait & tackle which brings pontoon to boat lauch area for you. Other Long Lake area businesses were also very pleasant. House owner was very responsive to issues, as we had hot water issue one day and the AC went out on the hottest day there. Both were addressed promptly. House comes fully furnished with towels and clean linens for all beds, which are numerous. The night light in both bathrooms was a nice feature. Having a garage to store garbage in was also great as animals in area can get at garbage left out at night. During our stay there was no need to separate garbage from recyclables. I mentioned to owner a few things that could improve stay. Humidifer for lower bedroom area [bit musty]. Having 2 window fans for furnished attic area [loft] , to facilitate air movement on days when AC is not needed. Dark roll up type blinds for lower level and dining area [to keep sun and neighbor's nite light from shining in when tryng to sleep] .
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Great weekend at this vacation home, fully furnished, spacious and very comfortable. Even though the boat motor did not work we enjoyed a fire both nights. We relaxed and enjoyed some R & R :) Thanks and I would recommend this home to everyone.

Great home with lots of space. plenty of sleeping space and nice bathrooms. great kitchen and dining area. easy access to everything on the lake. we were lucky we were able to utilize the owners parents dock (to much wind and cold for much fishing but the lake looks like it would be fun to spend weeks fishing). the only negative was the wifi/dsl was not working and with minimum cell/data signal in this area i would make sure it was working before we go there again. would recommend to other family and friends. Make sure your check our DUFFYS this is truly the most unique and random bar we have ever been at.

"We had a delightful stay here in September. The fall colors were beautiful and the house itself is fun as well as comfortable. The beach and dock are private. They are not on the property, however, but a short walk down the road. This surprised us, but didn't make our visit any less enjoyable. We would certainly come back again."

Our extended family vacation on Long Lake was great. Plenty of room in the house for everyone to live in comfort. The lake is so clear and the fishing was good. Couldn't cover the whole lake with the pontoon, it's just too big. The jetskis had plenty of room to roam. Campfires, eagles, loons and deer a great week in the northwoods.
