This was the first time we spent Thanksgiving in Hilton Head Island and our stay was wonderful. The pictures on VRBO do not do justice to how nice a unit this really is. We found the villa to be very well equipped with every thing we could possibly use during our stay and the location was excellent as it was convenient to the golf courses we wanted to play and the restaurants we wanted to dine at. We will most certainly give this villa strong consideration on our next visit to "Paradise".

Your condo was perfect in every way! I loved the screened-in porch every morning, coffee in the treetops. I played a lot of tennis in former years, so I enjoyed watching men and women's match's each morning from my "perch"! There was every amenity you could ask for, flat screen TV's in every room. Beautifully decorated and easy to keep clean.......a lovely week in May. Thank you providing such a wonderful and complete home away from home. God bless, Linda Rossetti
Owner response:I'm so glad that everything worked out and you could come to Paradise this past week. It is true how enjoyable it is to sip coffee and watch the tennis being played from your on 'treehouse'. Thanks for your wonderful words -- please visit again. Judy

As we near the end of our most recent trip to Hilton Head, we are once again sad to leave paradise. We have now been to the island 5 times and have stayed in this condo for our last 4 trips. It is an awesome location and the condo is well maintained, clean, and feels like our "home away from home". Judy has always been helpful in every way and we no longer call her the owner, but a friend. We look forward to our summer trip in July back to paradise (both Hilton Head and our condo home on the island).
Owner response:It's always so heart-warming to have return visitors to my villa in Paradise. I, too, feel like I've found new friends, not just customers; persons to share my favorite vacation location with, not just renters. I always strive to make everyone feel like they've been invited into my home and this is their own home-away-from-home.

Have stayed at several villas in Crown Reef and this is the best. Clean, comfortable, attractively furnished, updated amenities and well located next to the tennis club, between two pools and a two-minute drive to the golf course. A short walk to the beach and the Westin which offers a fitness room and more amenities. Enjoy drinks on the front and rear balconies. Owner has thoughtfully provided beach chairs and a cart for carrying them as well as recommendations for eating and sightseeing. You won't be disappointed.

We stayed in this lovely condo for 1 week in July and will definetly go back again. The place was clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. A short block to the beach and Westin. The shaded screened in porch was perfect for cooling off after a run each day. The owner was especially nice and prompt to deal with. Extras included: beach chairs, floats, coffee, tea and plenty of linens and paper products. The whole experience was luxurious!

We (4 adults) stayed at this villa from 4/26/08 to 5/3/08. It was fabulous, the villa was nicely furnished, very comfortable and was centrally located to all amenities. We managed to play a few rounds of golf at Port Royal - you can't beat the $50 green fees, with cart after 2pm - great deal. We also rented bicycles (cost about $50 for the week, a great way to see all of Port Royal? It's about 15 minute drive to the outlet malls and same distance to get to Harbourtown for lunch at the Quarterdeck! We also spent a day in Savannah (1 hour away - highly recommend) and in Charleston (2 hours). If you are considering a villa rental in HHI, you can't go wrong with this one. It really is a tremendous value for the money.

The owner told me in conversation before we came to visit this property, that this was paradise. She was only being modest. The villa at 102 Crown Reef was all we were expecting and so much more. It met all of our expectations. It was beautifully decorated, very spacious, and well maintained. The location is great. The owner was wonderful to deal with and we feel we have made a new friend. We hope to return to this lovely villa every year.

Just spent a week at this condo. Everything was top notch - clean, neat, fabulously decorated, fully stocked with all the right kitchen tools and gadgets one could possibly need. Screened in deck overlooking tennis courts, but secluded enough that the players on the courts did not disturb you. A balcony off the second bed room was also nice. Just a couple minutes from the Westin Hotel and beach. All amenities offered by the Westin were available to us,which needless to say were many. Location was good, and tucked away amidst lots of trees. Close to golfing, shopping, restaurants, etc. And, the owners of this villa are quite concerned with your comfort. Nice follow up. They even offered suggestions for places to dine and things to do. We took them up on three of their restaurant recommendations and were very satisfied. Would I recommend this villa to a friend or family member? You bet I would. I would also return in a heart beat. Everything was so nice and comfy I felt right at home.

Our winter wanderings have ended. We will be at home in this great condo as long as they'll have us. The location is the best on the island, accessible to the main land, yet convenient to all that Hilton Head has to offer. The condo itself is nicely furnished with everything one needs for a home away form home.

My wife and I are from Ottawa, Canada and have been coming down to Hilton head for many years. This year we stayed for an entire month - February. We loved this unit. It was perfectly situated for us - we play a lot of tennis. The unit was immaculate, very well appointed, and had everything we could need - including a George Foreman electric BBQ on the back balcony! We were able to cook a belated Chritmas turkey dinner on it. The owner was wonderful - very flexible in setting dates to accomodate our travel needs. When we arrived, she phoned to ensure everything was O.K. and was genuinely concerned that our vacation was going well. We had a great time and cannot wait to go back again next year!!

I've been vacationing on Hilton Head since 1975 and renting a condo annually since 2000. Each year I rent a different condo. I've rented three different Crown Reef condos in the four-condo building where this unit resides. After renting this condo, I no longer feel the need to rent others. As the last person commented, this condo is first class all the way! The ceilings are very high, which gives a feeling of spaciousness. There are two two-person whirlpool tubs and one walk-in shower. The place is clean as a whistle! The other thing I like is it’s on the second floor. Renting a first floor condo in this complex I learned has a few drawbacks. First, the bedroom windows are situated in eyeshot of anyone who walks or drives by; it’s less private. Also, the first floor condos are more insect prone.I also have to comment on the people you’re renting from. Most condo owners fade out of the picture once you pay your rental fee. The owner of this condo made sure everything was satisfactory and even made special accommodations to be sure I had as much time as possible on the island and could enter the unit a little early. She is a fantastic renter and that’s something most people overlook when renting. If anything happens or if you have any concerns, you cannot go wrong renting this unit. The price is very reasonable and the quality of the accommodations is absolutely top shelf! If you’re not familiar with the island, the proximity of this condo is ideal. If you think of the island as being shaped like a foot, Port Royal is located on the heel. It’s centrally located between the north and south end of the island, so getting to either end takes about 10-15 minutes. Walking to the Port Royal beach takes about 5 minutes. You can even drive and park at the Westin Resort and walk to the beach, if you choose. The Westin is a one-minute ride away. All the amenities of the Westin come with the condo. This includes the outdoor bar and restaurant (called Turtles), which is situated next to a large and beautiful outdoor pool. There are even outdoor ping pong tables for use at no charge. There’s usually a band playing and the food is excellent! You can eat by the pool, bring a drink to your towel, and enjoy the beach. There’s always free water and ice at the Westin, if you get hot and thirsty. Two beach chairs and an umbrella are available for rent for $28 a day, $14 a half day after 1pm, or $7 for a quarter day at around 3pm. Your name is attached to the chairs

Recently spent about seven weeks at 102 Crown Reef. The villa is as advertised. First class all the way. I have been an annual visitor to Hilton Head for the past fifteen years and have never stayed in a nicer villa. In addition to the villa, the Port Royal location has much to offer. Close proximity to tennis, golf, and the beach. All this and a somewhat private location is hard to duplicate on Hilton Head. I would be remiss if I didn't mention the hospitality and forthrightness of the owners. Like their villa, first class people. Look forward to a return visit this fall. Dennis Nagle

My husband and I just spent a wonderful week in this cheerful villa. It is immaculate, bright and comfortable, and is located in a beautiful area close to the beach, tennis courts, and terrific golf courses. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking (although I didn't!)and there are fabulous restaurants in every direction. The villa was a cozy, quiet place to return each day after golf. It was the perfect stay!

I recently enjoyed an extended stay in this unit and cannot wait to return! As many times as I've been to HHI, I've never stayed in Port Royal so this unit was a wonderful surprise find. The unit is large and spacious, with very nice and super comfy furnishings, and the most immaculate unit I've ever rented! I especially enjoyed the large tubs – 2 of them – and the screened porch. It's a short walk to the beach, and tennis courts and pools are right outside the door. It's a perfect location with easy access to everything you could want. I'll definitely be a return customer not only because I loved the unit, but the owners were so hospitable and made me feel right at home (and had great restaurant recommendations!)

We just returned from a week's stay at this condo and loved it! The location is very quiet, but it is close to everything. The beach is just a short, easy walk away and both pools are nearby. There's also a really nice playground for kids between the condo and the beach. The condo is nicely decorated and has everything we needed for our vacation. We're hoping to come back next year!

We are new owners of 102 Crown Reef and cordially invite you to stay at our villa. We love it's comfortable, warm feeling and excellent location to the beach, golf and tennis. Also, Port Royal Plantation is in proximity to lots of great restaurants and shopping (two outlet malls, girls, VERY close). We look forward to hearing from you when you are looking for a great place on Hilton Head.
