Snowshoe condo description
***20% Off Equipment Rentals When You Rent With Me***
***Low Price Guarantee During Summer, Early, and Late Season***
***Ask Me About Discounted Lift Tickets***
My goal is to provide customers low cost lodging in the Snowshoe Village while ensuring a comfortable vacation. My low price guarantee is valid from mid-March through the first weekend of skiing. I'll beat any verifiable, comparable Mountain Lodge offer during those dates. I have additional units if this one is booked.
Snowshoe Resort is a year-round vacation resort. In the winter you and your party can enjoy 60 different ski slopes, two terrain parks, tubing, cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling. After the slopes close you can stroll through the Village's restaurants, shops, kids’ entertainment zone, nightclub, and more.
In the summer you can plan on a significantly cooler climate in the mountains where you can hike, mountain bike, fish, paddle-boat, shoot sporting clays, or golf at Raven Golf Course, the #1 public access course in WV. Year-round you can sightsee, swim, see live theater, or take a scenic ride on a historic train.
The Mountain Lodge is a Ski In/Ski Out complex ideally located right in the Snowshoe Village and next to the slopes, and has its own private parking lot (free to Mountain Lodge guests). You’ll be 30 yards from the Ballhooter Lift and the Beginners’ Slope, all within the Basin. The indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, church, and general store are only a several minute walk to other buildings. Your room at the Mountain Lodge is also within walking distance of the Western Territory slopes and the shuttle to night skiing at Silver Creek, giving you outstanding access to all 60 slopes. On the ground floor you’ll find a relaxing lobby with a warm fireplace. The common areas and units of the building all have wi-fi, though connections can be difficult during periods of high demand. You’ll have Auntie Pasta’s (Italian dining), a live comedy club, an exercise room, and a game room all in your own building (not available all year). Mountain Lodge also offers a nightly movie during the ski season. Though you shouldn't need it, Mountain Lodge is the only building on the mountain with on-site maintenance. If something goes wrong in any other building, good luck getting a quick repair. The mild weather most of the summer at the top of the mountain allows for the lack of air conditioning in the building and in most rooms. Despite this, some rooms do have interior air conditioning. Please check the unit’s amenities for details.
This unit has an incredible view of the slopes, looking right out onto Ballhooter Lift. You’ll have a spacious one bedroom condo that easily sleeps four. This unit has been beautifully re-modeled and upgraded with a new kitchen, expanded bathroom, and hallway. The kitchen is well-stocked with dinnerware, utensils, pots and pans, coffee maker, oven, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, blender, etc. so you can bring food to eat-in. The building’s free wi-fi is accessible in this unit. The bedroom has a queen bed, ceiling fan, 20” cable TV, and DVD player. There's a double-size sleeper sofa, TV, VCR, DVD player, and ceiling fan in the living room. Videos can be rented downstairs in the lobby or at Wildcat Provisions. Your condo has a built-in ski rack and a balcony with a beautiful view of the slopes.
Guests may begin checking in at 5:00 PM.
Guests MUST be checked out by 11:00 AM - no exceptions.

My husband and I brought our 10 year old son to Snow Shoe for his birthday. Skiing conditions were great. The condo had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked. We brought all of our own food and cooked in for every meal. The location is incredible. We just stepped out of the building, put on our skis and headed down the mountain. The manager was very helpful and sent a multitude if information from lift discounts to trail maps. The Mountain Shuttle bus was great for getting to Silver Creek for night skiing. We plan to return next year.

Snowshoe trip 2014
Snowshoe trip 2014
This was our 7th trip to Snowshoe, 4th time in Mountain Lodge and 3rd in a single room unit. With two children (4 and 6), this unit was wonderful and the best single unit we've stayed in thus far. It was exactly as advertised and more. 1. Kitchen- Clean, well maintained, and stocked. With two little boys, one extremely picky, I tend to bring our own food for lunches and breakfasts. The appliances worked well and fridge was extremely clean. Only 3 minor issues: 1. the coffee filters were small. 2. a splatter screen to place over the skillet while cooking bacon would make cleanup easier. 3. ventilation in Mountain Lodge units prevented the bacon smell from fully leaving the room (for 3 days). 2. Main living area -the location of the LCD TV (above the counter) provided ample room for the dining table, coffee table, and couch with still floor space available for my boys to play. This also allowed us to pull out the sleeper without having to move the dining table. The view was spectacular overlooking the Ball Hooter lift and surrounding mountain area. From the balcony door you could see a portion of Shavers Lake, if the temperature wasn't below 20 degrees, I probably would have ventured onto the balcony to sit on one of the two chairs and get a better view of the lake. 3. The bathroom. nothing special and everything worked as it should. Cons: the inner shower curtain could stand to be replaced or cleaned more thoroughly due to the mold/mildew at the bottom. I would have like to have seen a retractable clothes line in the shower to hang our swim suits after spending an afternoon at Split Rock Pools. 4. Unit location within Mountain Lodge: Perfect. We've stayed closer to the playground in past years, but since my boys are older we opted to distance ourselves from the noise. The location of the unit was indeed quieter and in a great central location, in our opinion. Although we were on the second floor, foot traffic was at a minimum and we were close to the ski lockers and Ballhooter lift as well as the external doors towards the Split Rock Pools and Village. Ballhooter is also at the top of the skidder slope, perfect for skiing the boys to the ski school, rather than walk with them carrying all their gear. 5. other. Nice TVs. One in the main room and another in the bedroom. DVD player worked well, but the batteries died and no replacement batteries to be found.

Manager response: Thank you very much for taking the time to write such a thorough review. This will be so helpful for future guests as they decide whether or not to stay in ML 234. It's also very helpful for me to know what types of repairs, improvements, and upgrades my guests want to see in my condos. On that note, I'll have the housekeepers replace the shower curtain liner and the DVD remote batteries right away. I'll bring a splatter screen installed the next time I stay in the condo and the clothesline is a great idea, so I'll look into installing one of those too. Thanks again for being my guest and I look forward to welcoming you back into ML 234 in the future.
We have been coming to Snowshoe every year for the last 5 years and this has been our favorite unit by far. This unit is in a great slopeside location directly overlooking the Ballhooter lift and has ski-in/ski-out convenience. The unit has been wonderfully updated and the kitchen layout is superior to all the other 1BR units I have seen in the building. The owner is very responsive and wonderful to work with and has made everything super easy for booking this property. We would definitely stay in this unit again.

A prefect spot for the budget-conscious who want slopeside access, limited driving after arriving, close proximity to village and excellent ski lockers. Makes getting ready to ski a breeze! Room is on the small side, but the price is great given the above pros along with a beautiful view overlooking part of the village and ballhooter lift. We literally walked out the back door of this building, put our stuff on and went down the slope. NO packing/putting away in the car or the room/lodge! That's hard to beat. You can also walk right across to the village to enjoy shopping, starbucks, etc. The only con is the lack of dryer in room for gloves, etc. although there is a coin laundry just down the hall.

Condo is as advertised. Plenty of room for my wife and I with our two daughters. Staff was friendly and helpful, with easy check in and out. Room was clean and had great amenities. The unit faces Ballhoter lift and it's fun to watch as folks ski by. The Kitchen was well stocked and we made most of our meals there. Split Rock pool is very close by and my kids loved it. We will be back again!!

We had an awesome time. Everyone at the lodge was so nice, friendly and very helpful. The room was great, couldn't have asked for a better location. We had a 6 y.o. and it was so easy to get him to the ski school and us to head out to the slopes without having to use our vehicle. The listings and photos are very accurate. Tim was very helpful and informative, even after we booked and I had to call for info. We can't wait to come back and stay again and we definitely will.
